While it is not what I would do..I'm dropping my issues with Trump appointing Romney as Secretary of State. rump's rose in the political arena has been a phenomena, and though I and most of my blog followers were behind him early on,  none of us really know how to second guess him. What we do know, is that Trump has been very successful in his endeavors, and we should respect his record of achievement enough to respect his vision of the future. Look at the turn around of Trump's adversaries as this campaign's "Apology Tour", only instead of seeing one like Obama did, we have old Republican politicians apologizing to America for letting Democrats almost get away with destructive mission.

Online headline: "Welcome to 'the most toxic place in America'" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought this was the slogan of the Chicago Chamber of Commerce.

---
Online headline: "Bernie: We need to reexamine the Electoral College after Hillary Clinton's loss " -- Hmmm--- typical liberal's response to something in the government that works the way our Founding Fathers set it up to do.

---
Online story: "United Technologies Corp has reached a deal with President-elect Donald Trump and vice president-elect Mike Pence to keep about 1,000 jobs in its Carrier plant in Indianapolis, Carrier said in a tweet." -- Good grief.. Trump hasn't even taken office yet, and he's already kept one more positive promise than Obama has kept in 8 years!

Online story: "On Tuesday, thousands of workers across the country took to the streets to fight for a $15 minimum wage and the right to unionize. * While the federal minimum wage (of $7.25) hasn't budged since 2009, many states haven taken it upon themselves to raise wages. Most recently in November, four states passed ballot measures to increase the minimum wage to at least $12 an hour by 2020. But that still falls short of the $15 an hour wage that low-wage workers have been fighting for for years." -- Let's parse this briefly... 1 - who's paying these protesters to protest? .. but more importantly, the protest should be about the education system's failure to prepare students for Real World 101.. I did my "minimum wage" jobs when I was in high school and living under my parents roof.. when went to school, I was focused on learning skills that prepared me for Real World 101, and when I finished school, I was prepared to handle the responsibilities I KNEW were coming.

Online story: "Despite strong opposition from farmers, Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation in September that for the first time regulates heat-trapping gases from livestock operations and landfills. * Cattle and other farm animals are major sources of methane, a greenhouse gas many times more potent than carbon dioxide as a heat-trapping gas. Methane is released when they belch, pass gas and make manure." -- Hmmm.. I wonder if Brown's solution is to stick corks in both ends of the cows... it's certainly something California and America would benefit from if the Dairy Industry did the same to Gov. Brown.

Online headline: "Emory could lose state funding if it declares a ‘sanctuary campus’ to shield immigrants" -- Good grief.. "could lose"? It ought to be GUARANTEED!

---
Good grief.. mainscream media has pretty much dropped the Ohio State University terrorist attack now that the Islamic jihadist nature has be exposed.  Maybe if these such attacks were limited to the journalism departments at schools, terrorism would get focused on by mainscream media attention.

Online headline/story: "Newton County forensic audit says millions in damage to taxpayers * The forensic audit, carried out by David Sawyer of Frazier & Deeter in Alpharetta, concluded (County Attorney Tommy) Craig “recklessly wasted” public money and made “numerous, repeated, misleading, deceptive statements and misrepresentations to the Board of Commissioners and taxpayers about the need, feasibility and achievability of the proposed Bear Creek Reservoir.” --

The first thing Columbus taxpayers should seek is to find out whether Tommy Craig has ever been a consultant/info source for Mayor TomLYINGson, the City Manager, and/or the Columbus Water Works.

L-E story: "crime is a growing concern in the black community." -- I'm not going to pass along the details.. tragic details. involving this comment.. but.. "crime is a growing concern in the black community." is a half-truth.. it's as big, or bigger concern in the white community as well. Recently, groups from both communities bonded together to triumph over an assault on OUR community's future well being.. and WE blew the Mayor's "Tax Thaw" out of the water. This is what WE need to do to combat crime.. it doesn't mater whether it is within the black or white community, it affects ALL of us, and we cannot sit back and point fingers at each other... or let politicians decide whether or not to tackle the problem. Citizens Unite... AGAIN!

About those incessant Together 2016 ads in the Columbus L-E...Once again... who is paying for, and how much money has been paid out for these incessant Together 2016 ads? I'm beginning to believe that the L-E would have folded by now without them.. maybe Together 2016's goal is to keep the L-E afloat so it can continue to misinform the community about the inefficiency of the City and MCSD systems.

From the "let's parse this" department - L-E headline: "CABINET CONFIRMATIONS * Dems worry on Sessions, but have little recourse" -- Hmm.. well, Dems did have recourse when Obama nominated Holder and Lynch, and Dems did nothing to stoip their carnage of our Constitution or federal laws.

---
L-E headline: "City is auctioning its karaoke machine?" -- One question.. is the karaoke machine something confiscated during a crime bust/drug raid. or do we need to know how it was purchased by a City department?
