Thinking further about our Aquatic Center's plan to have a showing of "Frozen" with children on floats in a pool with lights darkened so the children can see the screen is alarming...at a minimum...young children are always "at risk" swimming without a parent closely observing them, even in bright sunshine, but our Aquatic Center is basically telling parents the City will watch them "free" and in a darkened facility..can you not see DISASTER staring the City in the face?

It's amazing.. our Columbus "Fund Balance" is at a 10 year low, and now Mayor TomLYINGson wants to dip another $20,000.00 out of it to pay for "our share" of a GA DOT project that enhances the TSYS property.. Don't even try to say it's not coming from the Fund Balance.. there's not a loose/unspoken for dollar in the current budget that can be used to pay for it from expected revenues.
