Online story: "Bill Gates has suggested that Donald Trump could spur innovation in the U.S. much like John F. Kennedy did in the 1960s." -- Hmmm.. never heard him say that about Obama or Hellary...

From same story: "During the presidential race, the tech entrepreneur reportedly refrained from openly endorsing Trump or Hillary Clinton but, instead, expressed an openness to working with either candidate's administration." -- Hmmm.. interesting ..didn't see/hear mainscream media report that Gates wasn't openly supporting Hellary.. now that the election is over, mainscream media will not admit.. cannot cope with.. wealthy liberals that did not support Hellary either is the reason she didn't win.

Random thought:  Hey Democrats... this is how you create jobs and wealth for the middle class .. and HOPE for the nation.. you get the super-wealthy to get excited about using their resources to make it worthwhile to make MORE money!

---
Another random thought: You know.. labor unions do not create jobs.. in fact, they are more responsible at closing factories than keeping them open.. Trumps new plan to cut corporate taxes, and revoke regulations that cause more economic anguish than help workers or the ecological systems will actually bail out many unions from withering into oblivion.

---
Online headline: "Joe Biden is the early 2020 Democratic frontrunner" -- Hmmm.. isn't this sorta like Ford reintroducing the Edsel II?

---
Online headline/story: "NYPD arrests Muslim girl who claimed attack by Trump supporters *  She claimed three men attempted to pull off her hijab while calling her a terrorist and yelling Trump’s name. All this happened, she said, while New Yorkers sat idly by and watched her get assaulted. *  Finally, on Wednesday, she admitted she made the whole thing up, citing “family problems.”" -- Hmmm.. I don't think liberals will get over this until they file a class action suit... against HELLARY.. for breaking campaign promises to be elected.

---
I want to know who Obama appointed in the CIA is leaking "fake news" to liberals about "evidence" concerning Russians, and why any of them is concerned about when and how many briefings Trump has with Obama appointed "intellegence" people.

---
Online story: "The U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to hear a challenge from a death row inmate who argued that because the state botched its first attempt to execute him, trying again would be unconstitutional. * The court turned the case down in a brief one-line order. Justices Stephen Breyer and Elena Kagan said they would have granted the appeal to decide the issue." -- Good grief.. why don't states just given death sentenced criminals a choice.. lethal injection, cyanide capsule, firing squad, or.. being tossed into a "fight pit" with a dozen half starved pit bulls?

---
Online headline: "Ex-CIA chief Leon Panetta says Trump risks major liability if he skips intelligence briefings" -- Hmmm is this the same Leon Panetta that the Little Rock recruiting Center and Ft Hood terrorist attacks killed 14 Americans that he had no clue about it going to happen?

---
Online story: 'Michael Moore writes, "Most would agree the #1 job of the leader of any country is to keep its people safe...That Trump would find it too cumbersome or too annoying to have to sit through 20 minutes of listening to his top intelligence people tell him who's trying to kill us today, simply boggles the mind." --  Hmmm.. and what did Michael Moore write about Obama always claiming he didn't know anything about anything until he read about it the following day in a newspaper?

---
You know...I think the American people have spoken about Trump's cabinet picks, and no where did the American people tell Trump we want him to continue using Obama supporters as advisors on EPA, Energy, or Education issues. We want real change and real hope for America's future.

---
As much as he's a positive mainstay on the AM show, Fox and Friends, Steve Doocy would be a great replacement for Shepard Smith during the afternoon.

---
When is Samuel L. Jackson going to use his CRAPital ONE travel miles to buy his one-way ticket to anywhere outside of America...as promised if Trump got elected?

---
Interesting...France has built a 13 foot tall concrete wall next to the England bound Chunnel lanes...to keep illegal aliens from crossing the rail tracks and jumping on trucks heading to England..my first thought was why... until I heard that England paid for the wall..and I still wonder why France wants to keep them from leaving.

---
Isn't it nice...no, WONDERFUL, to have a president/president-elect who unabashedly says, "Merry Christmas".

---
From the "sanity still exists in some professional sports" department: MLB has banned hazing rookies from being made to dress up in women's garb as not to offend certain groups. Hmmm, then why doesn't the NFL crack down on players disrespecting our National Anthem..that certainly offends the groups I am part of..such as patriots and silent majority and the common sense crowd.

A recent vote in the Senate passed the "Further Continuing and Security Assistance Appropriations " by a 63-36 (one not voting) margin.. one of the "earmarks" in it was for $170,000,000.00 in aid to Flint, MI "to repair its lead-contaminated drinking water system, including $100 million to replace its water pipes and other infrastructure". Excuse me, why are yours and my tax dollars going to repair a system in Michigan that neither the state of Michigan nor the City of Flint cared enough to maintain all along? No federal government bailout was offered when Columbus, GA overhauled its combined sewer/overflow issue, and why hasn't the federal government stepped in on Atlanta's failure to repair the same problem that dumps raw sewage into the Chattahoochee River and pollutes the water all the way to the Apalachicola, Fl? Oh.. Senator Isakson voted to tax us, Senator Perdue stood up for us and said, "NO"!

---
Macon Telegraph story: "WARNER ROBINS  * The Houston County Commission made it official Tuesday that voters will head to the polls March 21 to decide whether to extend the special purpose local option sales tax." -- Why was this referendum not done during the General Election this past November..all tax matters should be voted on when the most voters will be activated/motivated? Hey, GA legislators, stop these issues from being voted on in costly "special elections".

---
We understand why Paul Ryan gave Trump a Green Bay Packer jersey with the number "45" on it, but what was with the number "12"  jersey number he gave to Pence...I woud have thought that either number "46" or "2024" would have been a better message.

---
L-E headline: "FOREIGN RELATIONS * In collapse of U.S.-Russia ties, some see nuclear risk" -- My-o-my.. looks like Obama's "intelligence" team missed this for 8 years.. and why is Trump being criticized for not wanting to hear daily briefings from Obama's "intelligence team"? Oh, somebody mail Obama a copy of the L-E so he can read about it...

L-E headline/story: "COLUMBUS COUNCIL * Council, MCSD approve TAD deals * Columbus Council approved intergovernmental agreements between the city and the Muscogee County School District on Tuesday as part of the development of two Tax Allocation Districts. * The Muscogee County School Board approved a similar resolution on Monday, paving the way for Midtown East and Midtown West TADs to be developed. *  A TAD allows the city to issue revenue bonds for areas that need infrastructure and environmental improvements. Taxes gained from the development are used to repay the revenue bonds for about 20 to 30 years, and then the money goes into city and school district coffers." -- Now you see why defeating Mayor TomLYINGson's "Tax Thaw"  was so important to the future of Columbus.. had she won, the City could have issued even more bonds against the rising assessed value of local properties.. now you see why the developers, banks and related industries were spending $142,000.00 (through October.. November figures somehow haven't been reported) to get it passed. Now the question is when the bought-and-paid-for-school board will be crying for more SPLOST money, and the City will try again to "Thaw the Freeze". Mayor TomLYINGson's intentional draw down of the Fund Balance will cause the new bonds being more costly to the taxpayers as it is (Banks and Developers WIN), but what anguish will the students and taxpayers of Columbus have to endue or the next 20-30 years as the reduction of TAD area property taxes reduces everyday operation revenues to the schools and City?

L-E editorial headline/content: "EDITORIAL * Rail line idea still on the table * Talk about what used to be called a “bullet train” connecting Columbus and Atlanta (and, in some versions, points beyond) has been around at least since the late state Sen. Floyd Hudgins was pushing the idea in the mid-1980s." -- Good grief.. a $4 Billion dollar project with a 15 year projected timeline to completion (yeah right.. just look at the "projected timelines" for Veterans Parkway and Whittlesey Rd projects) and now we are told the "bullet" rail would probably run at 63-to-71 MPH, and take longer than a car traveling at the posted speed limits to get to the Airport, and we are told by Mayor Tom_LYING-son that revenues would exceed expenses (like the Post Office and AMTRAK and the AquaCenter). Yeah, right.. Somebody let Trump know this is projected to cost as much as the Boeing AirForce 1 project he just canceled because of ridiculous cost projections, and make sue he knows this "high speed rail" project will be even more wasteful.

L-E headline: "Fed raises key interest rate" -- Wow.. even the fed is excited that Obama is out, and Trump, not Hellary, is in!
