From the "mainscream media is upset" department - Online story: "Pakistan's government released a detailed readout of US President-elect Donald Trump's phone call with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, saying Trump praised Sharif as a "terrific guy" and called Pakistanis "one of the most intelligent people." - Good grief.. when mainscream media stopped drinking the Democrat's Kool-Aid, it has "sobered" up and now have put Trump's "2 plus 2 = 4" business plan together..  people who ARE already knew this, but libs are just understanding that Trump relies on people who FEEL they are smart to become disarmed by him "playing" to their egos. You know, like when Trump left his first meeting with Obama and told the mainscream media what a smart and competent person Obama is.

How could the L-E not mention the write-in votes for "Benedict Arnold" in District 133. For those who are more recent graduates of the MCSD, Benedict Arnold was convicted for Traitorous and Treasonous actions as he tried to undermine General Washington by working with the British while in the American army.. sorta like the actions of unopposed District 133 Rep John Pezold who actively campaigned for the "Melt the Thaw" referendum.

Due to the fine research of former Council Post 8 candidate Jonathon Davis, we learn that City Manager Isaiah Hugley "bought" (with our tax dollars) a Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicle for his use as his "official" business transportation.. What in the world does the City Manager need a gas=guzzling, high powered vehicle to run mundane erands on City business? As Davis pointed out, even the Columbus Police Department bought Chevy Impalas foir administrative use and not only saved over $6,000.00 per vehicle cost, but will have tremendous savings on fuel costs.. I guess Hugley figured that if he could give himself an unauthorized raise, he could drive around in an unneeded overpowered vehicle.. Oh.. have it on good word that Davis is running against Walker Garrett in 4 years.. Here is my endorsement for Davis..
