From the "HOW DEMORALIZING!" department - Online headline/story: "Top Senate Democrats double down on calls for Trump not to meet with Putin after Mueller indicted 12 Russian intel officers * Sens. Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, Mark Warner, Robert Menendez, Dianne Feinstein, Patrick Leahy, Sherrod Brown, and Jack Reed signed the letter." -- I these are the "TOP" DIMocrats have to offer, the rest of the DIMocrats must be embarrassed to be associated as a DIMocrat..

From the "I don't recall seeing this in our M/C L-E" department - Online headline/story: "Pair beheaded girl, 13, after fatally stabbing her grandmother, police say * The details emerged in a Madison County court during a preliminary hearing for Yoni Aguilar, 26,* Aguilar and Israel Palomino, 34, are charged with two counts each of capital murder in the June slayings of Oralia Mendoza, 49, and her granddaughter, Mariah Lopez. * Authorities said Mendoza was associated with the Sinaloa cartel, one of the world’s most powerful drug-trafficking organizations. * Aguilar told investigators that he, Mendoza, Palomino, and another woman traveled to Georgia in early June to pick up a kilo of methamphetamine. * The arrangement reportedly turned awry when Palomino became suspicious of Mendoza and the other woman because of their cartel connections" -- Good grief! Will someone please send this to the "TOP DIMocrat Senators" listed earlier (Sens. Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, Mark Warner, Robert Menendez, Dianne Feinstein, Patrick Leahy, Sherrod Brown, and Jack Reed), along with your demand to BUILD THE WALL!

From the "you cannot make this stuff up" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "California democratic party snubs Dianne Feinstein * De León, a fellow Democrat, received 65 percent of the vote of about 330 members of the state party’s executive board in Oakland on Saturday— more than the 60 percent needed to secure the endorsement, The Los Angeles Times reported. Feinstein received 7 percent of the vote, while 28 percent voted for “no endorsement,” as she had requested in the name of “party unity.”" -- Heh heh heh... Didn't I just post...twice... that other mainscream media wonks consider her one of the TOP DIMocrats in Washington..Just love it that "progressives" are cannibalizing themselves...

Interesting list... Cities with the most stolen car...4 of he Worst 5 in descending order: Shicago, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles... between 4 of the Worst 5, there are over 35,000,000 people residing, there have been over 138,000 cars stolen.. Commonalities they share.. DIMocrat mayors, overwhelmingly supported Hellary (even in TEXAS!), and they all are SANCTUARY cities, Something tells me there needs to be a PURGE of voting lists in these 4 metropolitan areas.

Online headline/story: "Protesters in southern Iraq demand better services, jobs * BAGHDAD – Iraqis demanding better public services and jobs took to the streets again on Sunday in the southern oil-rich province of Basra, as authorities put security forces on high alert and blocked internet on the sixth day of protests in the country's Shiite heartland. * On Saturday night, a group of protesters tried to break into the headquarters of Badr Organization, one of the powerful Shiite parties, * There were also similar protests on Saturday in Baghdad. Hundreds poured into Baghdad's Tahrir Square and the eastern Shiite district of Sadr City. Some protesters set tires on fire and tried to break into the Badr Organization's office in Sadr City, " -- Sounds like Iraq has it's own "antifa"...

From the "well, where are they now" department - In October last year, a much beloved Columbus college student was killed in Rome, GA.. two former high school "friends/teammates" drove from Columbus to Rome.. and shot him from pointblank range .. their names are Ricket Damon Carter III, and Troy Jamal Cokley. Last we heard was that in December of 2017 they were being held without bond in Floyd County.

On Saturday, we took our granddaughter to "Jungle Book" at the Springer/McClure Theater...they went all out and had the entrance decorated as a cave and we walked through the jungle to get to the seating area..It was exciting ... but the excitement fizzled.. the version performed was "artistic" and overly wordy .. and not children-level. My wife and I followed, but if anything, the young children were somewhat tense over the action.. and somewhat lost as to what they were seeing.. The actors did a fine job, but a more "Disney" version would have been more appreciated. Kudos for all involved in wanting to bring acting to the children, but please make the versions more children oriented.

Why is it that John McCain can muster up time and effort in Arizona to make irrelevant comments about what Trump is doing/saying but cannot muster up the energy to be in Washington to at least vote on issues that can make America Great Again?

From the "stolen valor?" department - Online headline/story: "Democrat's 'Purple Heart' remark at Strzok hearing spurs veterans to plan protest march * Rep. Cohen tells Strzok he deserves a Purple Heart * Sean Higgins, an Air Force veteran from Memphis, is leading the upcoming march, the Tennessean reported. Higgins told the paper that many constituents of Democratic U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen are “pissed as hell” after Cohen said Strzok deserved the military award. * “How do you compare someone getting wounded in combat to someone getting in trouble for message he sent? How can Cohen claim (Strzok) get a Purple Heart for that?” Higgins said." -- You know.. as vile as Strzok's arrogance has been, the DIMocrats sticking up for him are a worse crime against our country!

From the "and the DIMocrats want open borders at every side of the USA" department - Online headline/story: "MUSLIM PARTY LEADER TELLS DUTCH TO LEAVE THEIR OWN COUNTRY IF THEY DON’T LIKE DIVERSITY, “They should get lost!” * The leader of the Muslim DENK party in the Netherlands has caused controversy by telling Dutch citizens to leave their own country if they don’t like the increasing number of Muslim migrants populating Dutch cities." -- Trump is RIGHT! Trump 2020!

I send out a truncated version of my Breakfast Club Blog (mainly local/state stuff) to put local situations/conditions out "on the table" to hopefully initiate good discussions and possible solutions. I send it to our Council and School Board members. A few respond periodically, most don't...I'll be glad to support those who respond in their re-election efforts as willingness to seek more info and/or disseminate their own info indicates the desire to search for a solution...... the others...not so much... The way I look at it, if a constituent is willing to share, politicians NEED to show they are listening...whether they agree or not.

From the "this why only Constitution informed judges be nominated/appointed to our Supreme Court" department - Online headline/story: "MSNBC Host Suggests Supreme Court Justices Should Rule Based on Poll Numbers * We should ignore old laws and demand that nine, unelected officials decide what new meaning they have based on recent poll numbers. * This was the argument put forward by “MSNBC Live” correspondent Katy Tur when she questioned a guest about the judicial philosophy of President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh." -- Good grief.. as "the poll news and nothing but the poll news" has proven is that polls are not facts...as proven by Trump's magnificent victory over Hellary!

From "the politically correct world of the M/C L-E: Headline: "Without guest workers, some say local peach industry couldn’t survive" -- "guest workers"? It's easy to tell the M/C L-E has not embraced that Trump is president and the US is phasing out "political correctness"... and obviously not at a pace the L-E appreciates.. agriculture in my lifetime has always used migrant workers.. and there will always be a need ,, and room,, for them.. but in today's environment, there HAS to be better information, and better records.. about any migrant workers carrying green cards.

From the "RED.. & HOT summer" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "Gunshot victim dies at hospital after car drop-off * A Columbus man died early Saturday after he was dropped off with a gunshot wound at the hospital, authorities said. * Timothy Frederick Whitehead, 25, was pronounced dead at 2:46 a.m. in the emergency room at Piedmont Columbus Regional’s midtown campus, said Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan. * THE HOMICIDE UNIT ASSUMED THE INVESTIGATION AND LEARNED THAT WHITEHEAD WAS BROUGHT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IN WHAT WAS DESCRIBED AS A SMALL GRAY, FOUR-DOOR SEDAN WITH TINTED WINDOWS. THE CAR HAD A GEORGIA LICENSE PLATE." -- Hmmm Some will say "20". I think it's number 21 of what is becoming a record (and blood RED) year in a hurry..

Surely there are cameras recording all activity at the Emergency Room access area...

Online headline/story: "Violent protests in Chicago after man shot dead by police * Fred Waller, Chicago police patrol chief, told media that officers saw a bulge in his trousers that they believed to be a gun. When they approached the man, "He started flailing and swinging away, trying to make an escape." and he said the man "reached for the gun." * Cameras worn by police and on telephone poles captured the incident and showed the man was armed with what appeared to be a handgun, Guglielmi said. * One handgun and two ammunition magazines believed to be the man's were recovered from the scene, police said." -- So far this year, 1,517 people on the streets of Shicago have been shot...and 241 have been killed.. and the streets of Shicago break out in riots and protests because the Police are out trying to make the streets safer,,, in perpective of all the 1,517 shootings, on 13 have been shot by a policeman.. and of the 241 deaths, only 4 have died from a police shooting.. Where... WHERE are the people of Shicago protesting the street violence of their own neighbors and children! It would be poetic if the Shicago police just roped of the afflicted areas and let the people destroy themselves... but the Shicago Police are bigger than this..

Let's talk about current police killings: Headlines: "Gunman shoots three Kansas City police officers before he is killed by cops" --- "Police officer, bystander shot to death by man who stole cop's gun in Massachusetts" ---- "Inmate shoots and kills two deputies" --- " Nicholas Clark, a 29-year-old New York state trooper, was shot and killed July 2 by a now-deceased gunman when he responded to a domestic disturbance call near the Pennsylvania border, police said." --- "A Tennessee officer was found shot to death on May 30 in his patrol car after having an altercation with a man suspected of abusing his girlfriend and stealing her vehicle. " .. and these are just recent ones.. we should praise our police officers who try their best.. put their lives on the line.. to keep law abiding Americans safer.

From the "Hey, DIMocrats, don't curb your cannibalistic appetite on my account" department - Online story:"ep. Joe Crowley of New York — the No. 4 Democrat in the House — declined on Sunday to endorse Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi for speaker, should Democrats take back the chamber from the GOP in this fall's elections. * “Well, look, you know, I do think that that'll be up to the new Congress to decide who the next leader or speaker ... be,” Crowley told CBS' "Face the Nation." * “If we win the House back, Nancy will have a very strong case for holding on to the speakership,” he said." -- "if we win the House back"? Say's the Number 4 DIMocrat who feels pretty much like a "number 2" after being "flushed out{ in the NY Primary. The only "BLUE wave Crowley will experience is being "BLUE" .. and probably with a solo finger, as he packs his bags and leaves Washington.. regardless.. on January 1st.

From the "maybe the 3rd time..uh, 4th time... well, would you believe 12th time MAY the charm" department - Online story: "An illegal immigrant who allegedly slashed his wife with a chainsaw at their California home was previously deported 11 times before he was arrested Thursday in the gruesome attack, immigration officials said. * Alejandro Alvarez, 32, is a “serial immigration violator” who has been deported nearly a dozen times since 2005, Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Lori Haley told the Los Angeles Times. Immigration officials have lodged a detainer against Alvarez. * Alvarez is accused of attacking his wife in the couple’s home in Whittier on Wednesday while their three children were inside, police said." -- Sanctuary city? More like an "Insanity City".. And since it's California, I expect Gov. Moonbeam Brown will sign a new law banning the sales of chain saws at Lowe's and Home Depot.

From the "desperate moves" department - Online headline/story: "Republicans renew push to impeach Rod Rosenstein amid Russian indictments * A group of conservative House Republican are a step closer to filing impeachment documents targeting the deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein. * The move, first reported by Politico on Friday, comes just hours after Rosenstein announced a dozen new indictments against a dozen Russian intelligence officers who targeted the 2016 US presidential election. * Members of the House Freedom Caucus have floated the impeachment idea recently, citing what they see as Rosenstein's "slow-walking" of an investigation into perceived political bias against Trump at the FBI. * For his part, Rosenstein has previously slapped down the impeachment threats, saying May, "The Department of Justice is not going to be extorted." -- It's bad enough that Rosenstein and Mueller have spent millions of dollars investigating individuals fro Russia who will NEVER.. NEVER be extradited to America to actually stand trial, but the worst move was ha the FBI, when alerted that the DNC computers HAD been hacked, backed off when the DIMocrats basically refused to press charges and allow the FBI to search the DNC server-files to see what information the Russians had access . Rosenstein/Mueller have no "evidence"to present in a court to show a jury any actual damages the DNC suffered.

Liberals have no sense of humor, common sense, or logic.. When I mentioned that our local school system was using commercial waste companies for trash services at Columbus High (I'm sure it's system wide, but I only checked Columbus High personally), the lib Pa-Trolls squawked loudly that the City didn't have trucks that could handle the front loading dumpsters. Good grief, I thought, are they so petty in thought that the lib Pa-Troll cannot imagine that the schools could use containers that the City's garbage service CAN handle?

Following that story WTVM 9 ran last week: Headline: ""Tests show no mold in Government Center despite employee complaints" -- Oh, one other observation of note: NO MOLD! This must be a setback to Mayor Tom-LYING-son's arguments..

Online headline: "Trump refuses question from CNN" -- heh heh heh...Trump 2020!

---
The House Committee questioning Peter Strzok showed America two important things.. 1 - that Strzok should have been fired, charged and purged long ago, and 2 - that Congressional DIMocrats could care less about showing the American taxpayer that DIMocrats are more interested in protecting themselves than America.

---
From the "what's worse than Republicans comparing guns and trucks they own" department - Online headline/story: "Dem. candidates attack each others’ liberal credentials in 6th, 7th District debates * Tensions ran high at the Atlanta Press Club debate on Thursday, where the candidates facing off for the Democratic nomination in Georgia’s 7th Congressional District attacked each others’ liberal credentials in advance of the July 24 runoff contest." -- What a worst case scenario... a rerun of Hellary and Bernie competing for support of people swayed by "whatcha gonna give me" campaign promises neither will keep even if they could. Good grief..all that was missing at the debate was Pee Wee Herman chanting, ""I know you are, but what am I"

You know, the basic difference between conservatives and liberals is that conservatives promise to cut YOUR taxes, while Liberals promise to spend other people's taxes on people who vote for them.

---
Anne Coulter nailed Peter Strzok.... She tweeted: Peter Strzok's wife threatened to leave until he explained that not once did he let his affair with Lisa Page affect any specific actions he took in their marriage." -- Not a fan of Ann, but this random item pretty much neuters Strzok and every DIMocrat Representative that defended his actions.

Let me get this straight... we.. the USA... have a GDP of about $20 TRILLION dollars.. through the recent continuous spending bill Congress sent to Trump, we got about $700 BILLION for our military budget.. We've learned that not only does the US make it's promised 2% GDP "donation" to NATO, we actually give NATO 3.36% of our GDP...which totals about $670 BILLION.. If we gave "ONLY" 2% of the GDP to NATO, that would still be $400 BILLION. It's time.. way pay past time, for European countries to pony up their fair share....

From the "number one way to discourage citizen/tourist traffic to a downtown area" department - Online headline/story: ":No more free parking in downtown Macon * Starting Friday, parking in much of the downtown will cost you. The parking meters downtown have been around for about a week now, and people are wondering do they work yet. * Parking meters now say "free parking," but starting Friday, those words won't be there. * Park Macon-Bibb spent the day putting up the last few meters, and they say they are ready to go live." -- Having done business in a downtown area with .. and without .. parking meters, no parking meters is better.. in fact, even with "free Parking" spaces, 2 hours is not enough time to encourage shoppers and tourists to WANT to come to a downtown area to explore.. in Columbus, downtown, 3 or 4 hours is a better time frame.. of course, it will take better control of businesses and CSU to make "their people" use off-street parking.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Columbus film office works to attract next big movie, TV hit * After all, it has been eight years since the city became a certified “Camera Ready” community through the Georgia Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office, giving it the stamp of approval needed to throw out the proverbial red carpet for production decision-makers seeking unique and interesting places to shoot their projects, while also receiving state tax credits to offset expenses. * “That’s really what we’ve been looking to do is for Columbus to be in the game,” he said earlier this week. “We’re in there now, and there’s a lot of prospecting going on. But the goal is to have production after production happening, where we’re coordinating calendars with the sound stage, with the (Georgia) Film Academy, with the Georgia film office.” * A great example of that impact was the shooting of the faith-based movie, “My Brother’s Keeper,” by writer and producer Ty Manns, in June. A local resident, he assembled a crew of more than 50 people and a cast of nearly two dozen, while also using some Columbus-area residents as extras in scenes. He estimated spending more than $280,000 locally while shooting here. * Locations where filming took place included Rose Hill Church of Christ, the city’s Government Center tower, a local hospital, a security training center south of Fort Benning, and downtown on Eleventh Street in front of buildings that included the restaurant Mabella’s." -- "Locations where filming took place included ...... the city’s Government Center tower"? Oh, the one that Mayor Tom-LYING-son wants to implode? Maybe this movie will become a pariah as older movies shot in NYC featuring the "Twin Towers" which went down on 2001? Hey,, maybe a movie can be made of the "Government Center Tower FLood".. and it's sequel, "Government Center Flood 2" sorta a take on a "Poseidon" theme where everyone tries to escape to dry land.
It's amazing that the M/C L-E/ nor the CVB seem to be aware that there's a second film being made here in Columbus at this moment in time... shhh.. it's a secret ..

M/C L-E headline/story: "Pair allegedly charged almost $1,000 a month to live at unlicensed care home * BY BEN WRIGHT * benw@ledger-enquirer.com * An investigation of a personal care home in the 4100 block of Alton Street started on May 15 after a theft was reported to police. Columbus Police Detective Christy Truitt of the Special Victims Unit said two victims lost $11,781 between December and early this year." -- Why wasn't the street ADDRESS used in this story? Curiosity led me to look at our tax database..and I found something most interesting.. there is a address in the tax database for a health services owned home in a residential neighborhood on Alton Street.. checking into it, not only is it listed as tax exempt as a "charity", but there are several similar TAX EXEMPT homes listed under the same company name, and all of them list information be directed to another address that has a Homestead Exemption... I'm not sure if the address I'm researching is the same house as the one where these people were arrested, but still, these I'm mentioning are businesses... why are they tax exempt?

From the "Mainscream media in a nutshell" department - M/C L-E guest commentary headline: " When a friend just wants you to listen * BY GINA BARRECA * The Hartford Courant" -- Yep... this could be the ultimate mainsceam media creed...just listen to my tripe, and don't ask questions or prove me wrong.
