From the "oh yeah!" department - Online headline/story: "Merkel has already fired back at Trump, saying that she lived in Germany under Soviet control and the government today is different and that Germany is a solid US and NATO ally. * Just hours after Trump's comments, Merkel fired back, saying she lived in East Germany under Soviet control, and that things are different now. * Merkel faces serious difficulties in meeting her defense spending commitments to NATO. It's an unpopular policy domestically as she struggles to stay atop a shaky coalition government. * Additionally, Germany's military is in a poor state, and its own defense minister has criticized a lack of readiness and defense spending. In May, German news outlet Der Spiegel reported that only four of Germany's 128 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets were ready to fly combat missions." -- Germany IS under Merkel where America WAS under Obama... sucking in world wide respect and leadership.. Germany obviously has spending problems when their military readiness is weak, and it will not... maybe cannot.. fund it's NATO commitment for it's own defense.. added to all the refugee issues she's created, I imagine Merkel's days are numbered..

Think about this...why is the mainscream media/DIMocrat coalition defending Merkel? Germany is resorting back to fossil fuels and supporting Putin...I thought fossil fuels and Putin were their Top 2 issues to destroy after Trump.

From the "powder puff derby" department - Online headline/story: "Senate overwhelmingly rebukes Trump with tariff vote * For the second day in a row, the Senate pushed back on President Donald Trump, showing stiff resistance to his key policy decisions on tariffs and NATO even as the President is at a summit in Europe wrestling with allies over those same issues. * The bipartisan 88-to-11 tally on the non-binding resolution sends a message to the White House about how frustrated senators are over Trump's disruptive moves on tariffs." -- 88-11.. wow.. and a non-binding resolution at that... that means it has no teeth... I guess we can assume that 49 of the votes came from DIMocrats, but what I want to know is the 11 Republicans names who "get" what Trump is doing and getting done.. those are the only 11 we should allow back in the Senate. I looked at 10 national news stories, and could only find 4 Senators (Graham & Scott of SC, Heller of Nevada, and, proudly, our own David Perdue of GA) names who supported Trump. Damn the Bushes. Clinton and Obama for making weenies out of our representatives.

You know.. mainscream media may have an excuse for the tantrums it has at every move/action President Trump makes.. Mainscream media was use to being "babysat" by an unskilled Obama and now Trump doesn't give them an endless supply of Kool-Aid or cookie crumbs..It's sorta like how children act at home after the parents change to a more responsible babysitter.

Since we'll have 2 new MCSB members taking over in January, it would be nice, as well, if the new District 8 (Schley) and both of the District 2 runoff candidates, Edmondson and Steed) speak up about funding half of the projected "operations" budget for 2019 using the MCSD "rainy day" savings account.

Doesn't it just make you want to shake your head when you hear a Congressperson say he/she wants a Supreme Court Justice with an open mind on issues, when the Congressperson just exposed his/herself as close-minded to the overall person going through the confirmation process?

It's absolutely juvenile.. immature.. for an adult Congressperson to pass judgment on a Supreme Court Justice nominee based on his/her ideas of one moral issue. Supreme Court Justices should only be challenged on their knowledge of our Constitution, their citizenship, and loyalty to our country and its future.

Why would Fox even given former New Mexico governor and Clinton appointed Ambassador to the UN Bill Richardson any air time...his only goal concerning Trump's message of America's strength to NATO was to try and justify Obama's Apology Tour, which basically emboldened even the 3rd World dictators to rattle their sabers in our face. Hey, World, Trump is the America you need ... Trump is America becoming a Great ally again.

DIMocrats just do not want to deal with a man that stands up for America's ideals, home and abroad.. DIMocrats feel Obama's apology tour was in our best interest.. America is really seeing and realizing the difference.. and power.. in a growing economy versus a soaring National Debt.

Yesterday, I made mention that Trump, indeed, is the "ELEPHANT in the room" when he talks.. I guess the world's leaders are taken aback since the last US president was obviously "The JACKASS in the room".

Online headline/story: "Georgia drops out of Top 5 on CNBC's annual 'Top States for Business' list * Though Gov. Nathan Deal often cites Georgia as the best place for business, that is not the case in 2018, according to an analysis from CNBC. * The news outlet released its 12th annual scorecard for "America's top States for Business" on Tuesday, with Georgia dropping from No. 2 to No. 7 in 2018." -- Hmmm... CNN must smell blood in the water and feels Stacey Abrams may take the GA Governor's race in November... and wants to soften the blow when GA drops out of the Top 10 in 2019. Her personal budget skills already show her weaknesses in budgeting and finances.

From the "suspicions confirmed" department - M/C L-E headline/story: Abrams gets most money from out of state, filings show * Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams raised more than $2.7 million in the latest campaign filings, with roughly 60 percent of her itemized contributions coming from donors outside the state, according to a McClatchy analysis." -- Looking at the donations coming into the GA Governor's race, I really have to make the point again about how donations need an overhaul.. my basic premise is that no one should be able to donate to a candidate that he/she CANNOT vote for (or against). PAC's should be restricted by the whether or not the PAC board is composed of at least 51% who can vote "for" a donation target. I also think that no one who has their salary determined by a candidate, or receives a non-military oriented government issued salary check, should be able to donate to a political candidate.

Even our farm states have no fear from a China tariff on their products.. China imports so much because... BECAUSE China is not capable of raising enough of the food crops that we offer, and the Chinese people will have to pay the higher prices because of THEIR government's inadequacies..

M/C L-E headline/story: "Lawsuit examines census question * From the moment it was announced in March, the decision to add a question about citizenship to the 2020 census was described by critics as a ploy to discourage immigrants from filling out the form and improve Republican political fortunes. The Commerce Department, which made the decision, insisted that sound policy, not politics, was its sole motivation." -- I support such a question... we NEED to know how many non-Americans as well as American citizens are in our country.. and to boot, it would benefit the USA if the Census is used to compare voting records for non-citizens who have gotten registered wrongly..

Maybe it would make those countries take more interest in keeping the illegals from crossing over their borders illegally to begin with.
