From the "thank you... NOT... LBJ and DIMocrats" department - Online story: "It wasn’t always this way, but for the eighth year in a row, a whopping 40% of all babies (in the USA) were born to unwed mothers. That’s in stark contrast to 1940, when just 3.8% of babies had unmarried parents. That number didn’t hit 10% until 1969." -- Yep.. LBJ and the DIMocrats "War on Poverty" led to "pay for play" welfare... have a baby get another check.. as long as no "dad" was in the picture.

From the "Here is why we have the Electoral College System" department - Online headline/story: "More people live in New York City than in 40 out of 50 states * Wrap your head around this for a minute: New York City may be geographically tiny, but it’s home to 8.5 million people and growing. That’s more bodies crammed into one location than the whole wide countryside including 40 other states." -- Yes, NYC has 8,550,000 million people living there..The state of NY has almost 20,000,000 and Hellary got all of NY's Electoral votes..Hellary won 16 of NY's counties.. while Trump won 46 of NY's 62 counties. Overall Trump won approximately 2,600 counties to Clinton’s 500, or about 84% of the geographic United States. However, Clinton won 88 of of the 100 largest counties (including Washington D.C.). Without these 100 largest counties she would have lost by 11.5 million votes. Yes, our Founding Fathers were smart... and new urban areas would get over-weighted with population that would figure out could be bought by social services and be persuaded to vote for politicians who promised them "upkeep".

About 10 minutes until 9:00 PM last night, and Fox says it "knows" Kavanaugh is going to be the pick...I personally don't believe any one at Fox "knew" but Kavanaugh is the one I would not have pick..He's been too close to the Bush family too long, and the Bush family has been too negatively vocal about Trump while they sat mum through the Obama era.

---
Kavanaugh was selected.. and AOL confirmed my fears.. AOL and the HuffPOOPOO are joined at the hip.. synonymous.... and the first story about Kavanaugh's selection did not vilify him. While we hope AOL/HuffPOOPOO's assessment that Kavanaugh hung around the Bush family so long that he may be more persuadable towards certain liberal agenda stances, we should pray that he lives up to the promise made by Trump.. Time will tell.

Oh! Does anyone believe that if Hellary was president that she would not appoint judges to the Supreme Court that are left of Kagan , Sotomayor, or Ginsburg?

---
You know, there really only one reason the DIMocrats are so panicked over the proper realignment of the US Supreme Court. The libs must fight for an opportunity where 5 people can use their agenda to overrule legislation that DIMocrats cannot get through the legislative process.

---
Why is the mainscream media/DIMocrat coalition so alarmed at a Supreme Court Justice being around for 30 +/- years? KAGAN was 50 and SOTOMAYOR was 54 when Obama appointed them and the super-majority DIMocrat Senate had no problem with them being uber-libs and serving on the Court.

---
Did you hear the NY DIMocrat Congressman try to make the claim Trump is a puppet of "big business"? Does this guy not remember sitting limply at the State of the Union speech until Pelosi yanked her strings to get DIMocrats to stand up?

After posting about the nearly 50% recidivism of the 65 arrests pictured in the M/C L-E mug shots who faced additional charges concerning probation/parole, we must wonder how effective the $700-$800,000.00 distributed to local programs through the Crime Prevention Committee?

---
The City of Columbus is spending $700-$800,000.00 of the Safety LOST tax revenues on a committee to prevent crime, yet crime persists and recidivism hasn't been reduced.. you know, with 400 police officers, that $700-$800,000 could easily be a $1500.00 to $2,000.00 bonus...annually.. to 400 officers?

Starbucks has already told us they do not want Trump supporters to be their customers, but yesterday, Starbucks DEFINED its customers. Beginning next year Starbucks will eliminate plastic straws and incorporate some sorta built in sipping device in the lids they put on drink cups. Looks to me that Starbucks will be putting coffee into, basically, "sippi-cups".. you have to admit Starbucks KNOWS its customers...they really are snowflakes.

Oh.. a question for Starbucks.. how are plastic drink lids any different than plastic straws?

Over then weekend, we watched RED and RED2 movies on a channel we don't usually turn to...but...Hallmark was loaded with rerun movies we have seen way too often. We were shocked at the difference in the ad choices on the "new" channel..We have become accustomed to the overload of medical ads aimed at ..I guess...an older audience, and were taken aback at the invasive ads concerning sex aids and sexually transmitted disease medicine. Do the cable channels really think they are selectively appealing to the channel audiences?

Has Fox ever listened to replays of Jessica Tarlov's opinions.. the only thing more grating than her opinion is her voice.. give me Fran Drescher (The Nanny) please.. or scrape some blackboard to add harmony to her nasalness.

Online headline/story: "Kavanaugh paper chase threatens to draw out confirmation battle * In addition to the Bush White House files, senators are also expected to demand access to about 20,000 pages of documents Kavanaugh assembled while working as a prosecutor for Whitewater Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr. * The National Archives sent POLITICO a few documents Monday that were apparently released in response to inquiries about the apparent suicide of Clinton White House attorney Vince Foster in 1993, one of the matters Starr investigated. * One extremely graphic set of notes in Kavanaugh's files documents an interview with Park Police Sergeant John Rolla, who responded to the scene where Foster's body was found in Fort Marcy Park, along the George Washington Parkway."-- Hmmm.. now this may make Kavanaugh's appointment all worth while to watch the confirmation process.. Hope the FBI will be taking notes on Foster's death as it puts together a more complete dossier on Hellary

Online "headLIE": "GOP Gov. John Kasich, who is undecided on another White House run, rips Trump's tariffs for 'creating a division with our friends" -- Good grief.. Kasich is no more of a Republican than Pelosi or Bernie....

In response to the story NYT/HuffPOOPOO posted about Trump being anti-breast feeding, I refuted such nonsense.. Later yesterday, Trump confirmed the bias and "fake story" status of that story. Trump said, "The failing NY Times Fake News story today about breast feeding must be called out," Trump tweeted. "The U.S. strongly supports breast feeding but we don’t believe women should be denied access to formula. Many women need this option because of malnutrition and poverty." Trump 2020!

M/C L-E headline/story: "Columbus police investigating Whisperwood shooting death, may have been accidental * O****** T****** was reportedly playing with a .357 revolver when it discharged and he was shot on the right side of the head. T****s' brother lived at the apartment complex on Flat Rock Road, Bryan said. * The death has been ruled accidental by the coroner's office, but Towels body is being sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab in Decatur for an autopsy, Bryan said. The weapon had a .410 shotgun shell in it when it discharged, Bryan said." -- Well.. Number 20 in my book...I don't know about "accidental" but I do know a blast from a .410 caliber shell is messy and no bullet to retrieve for evidence. And a .410 shotgun shell does not "accidentally" get into a .357 REVOLVER.

Online headline/story: "Mayor Bottoms' campaign paid consulting firm with ties to top election official * Channel 2 Investigative Reporter Aaron Diamant found more than $3,600 in payments from the campaign of Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to a consulting firm that has ties to Ralph Mays Jones Sr., one of Fulton County Election Office’s most senior leaders. * Legal experts told Diamant it’s a clear conflict of interest. * “It’s a really bad look. Let’s at least start with that,” said former federal prosecutor Caren Morrison. * Finance records obtained by Channel 2 Action News show those payments came at the height of December’s mayoral runoff race, which Bottoms won by a razor-thin margin." -- You know, with a difference of only 832 vote when over 91,000 were cast means it wouldn't take a whole lot of vote fraud to swing the race.. and Fulton County's votes more than swung the results in Bottom's way.

Looking at the donations coming into the GA Governor]'s race, I really have to make the point again about how donations need an overhaul.. my basic premise is that no one should be able to donate to a candidate that he/she CANNOT vote for (or against). PAC's should be restricted by the whether or not the PAC board is composed of at least 51% who can vote "for" a donation target. I also think that no one who has their salary determined by a candidate, or receives a non-military oriented government issued salary check, should be able to donate to a political candidate.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Traffic diverted Monday for rail-crossing repairs * Workers make repairs Monday morning to the railroad crossing at Veterans Parkway and Ninth Street in Columbus." -- Hmmm.. "repairs"? I want to know when Norfolk Southern is going to return and "repair" the "repairs" it made on 2nd Avenue, and on 54th Street...

As I go to "print", 11 of the kids in the Thai cave have been extracted.. leaving one more child and the coach... and many volunteers and rescuers still in there. Keep praying for all.
