From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "No deal: Trump, Kim summit collapses * Trump, in a news conference after the abrupt end to the talks, said the breakdown occurred over North Korea's insistence that all punishing sanctions the U.S. had imposed on North Korea be lifted without Pyongyang committing to eliminate its entire nuclear arsenal. * "Sometimes you have to walk," Trump explained, adding that an agreement was "ready to sign." -- Th real headline was "No BAD deal: America wins" Thank goodness we have President Trump! Had Hellary been president, she'd given Kim Jong Oooops the rest of our uranium, and an apology for America's existence.

From the "now we know!" department - An age old mystery has been revealed.. All my adult life I have been bewildered at how the Democrat politicians keep getting re-elected.. I generally thought that it was because so many people felt that Democrats were interested in them getting something for nothing.. but I was wrong.. Democrats.. voters and politicians just feel they would rather hear what they want to hear rather than deal with the truth. Michael Cohen is the DEMentiacrats' Holy Grail of proof to this revelation.. Even though Cohen was already convicted of lying to Congress.. and over nothing involving Trump, the Democrats still wanted to believe what Cohen tells them in his attempt to curry a better sentencing deal.

---
One DEMentiacrat said to the Committee interrogating Michael Cohen that the Republicans didn't object to Cohen lying about Trump, but do object to him telling the truth about Trump. Excuse me, but wasn't "lying to Congress" what Cohen was convicted of?

---
Another from the "now we know" department - Online headline/story: "House passes gun background check bill after GOP undocumented amendment: * "People who are felons or are dangerously mentally ill shouldn't have guns," regardless of whether they buy them from a federally licensed dealer or their next-door neighbor, said Rep. Mike Thompson, D-Calif., a key sponsor who has pushed for expanded background checks since the 2012 killing of 20 elementary school students in Newtown, Connecticut." -- It's so appropriate that this story was delivered by a California Democrat because we already know Dems live in Fantasyland. Their bill will not stop a single felon or mentally ill person from acquiring a gun, but what is good in the "GOP undocumented amendment". It's a step that requires gun dealers to report any illegal aliens who try to buy a gun.. of course this will be ineffective in California since illegals aren't detained after initial arrests in California.

From the "one answer fits all" department - Online headline: "The best and worst times to visit the Disney parks" -- Anytime!

Found an interesting tidbit about Disney... "all cast members (on Disney cruises) are REQUIRED to speak English"......Looks like Disney is pretty exclusionary.. especially for Cuban refugees in Florida, and Central American illegal aliens in California.

Yesterday, I wrote about the proposed MCSD plan for Special Needs student. These were the 3 options:
•(1) Interrelated Special Education Supports, which provides targeted student and teacher support in a co-taught general education setting.
•(2) Specialized Hybrid Transitional Class, designed to integrate students back into a co-taught classroom.
•(3) Therapeutic Day School, a separate facility for students who aren’t succeeding in the other options.
I was thinking about "2 of the 3" should be eliminated before any further discussions are engaged... I let that to be presented as Option "2 AND 3". What I was thinking was "1 and 2" be eliminated, and concentrate on 3, because it's the fairest for the students involved.. especially the younger ones. Other children can.. no.. WILL  be vicious in labeling special needs students  which will be crippling to their development; even teachers will come to expect such and miss actual improvements in the children's ways... As long as public schools are required to provide specialized options, isn't preparing them to be able to "graduate"/assimilate into society at an efficient level the best goal?

Have you noticed...noticed TV and magazine pet ads..especially for dog food...Manufacturers seem to be more concerned about what you should feed your dog than your kids.

From the "bet she asks Bill Clinton for his definition" department - Online headline/story: "Democratic freshman lawmaker Tlaib raises specter of racism during Cohen testimony * Tlaib, D- Mich., was addressing the chamber when she turned her remarks to a Trump employee who'd been invited to the hearing by Meadows, R-N.C. * “Just because someone has a person of color, a black person working for them, does not mean they aren’t racist and it is insensitive that some would even say, the fact that someone would actually use a prop, a black woman in this chamber, in this committee, is alone racist in itself.” -- First.. and only question ( her stereotyped agenda is RATHER OBVIOUS) : What does she mean by being "a person of color"? We all have color!

Yesterday I also questioned the recent softball tournament hosted by Central High School at Columbus patrons/taxpayer funded facility.. mainly because the City does not charge enough for outside entities to rent it at rates that don't cover their true costs.. I was questioned about this and brought up that "normal rates" at the AquaCenter do not pay for its upkeep, and mentioned how CVCC was allowed to use OUR Golden Park at a rate far less than what we taxpayers are taxed to maintain it at a "game ready condition". While there is some justification for a pricing system that allows all Columbus citizens to participate (because we all pay taxes), allowing non-Columbus users the same losing rate is not fair to the community. It really shouldn't be any different from the policy of the MCSD.. if students from other counties/states are allowed to attend MCSD schools, they are charged an addition fee to do so.

Online "headLIE"/story: "Bill would boost Georgia transit spending by up to $60 million * A bill introduced in the General Assembly on Wednesday would provide tens of millions of dollars a year for mass transit * The money would come from a 50-cent fee on all taxi, limousine and ride-hailing trips and a 25-cent fee for shared rides. That would generate an estimated $30 million to $60 million annually for transit." -- Another "headLIE".. this is not about spending.. it's about adding not-so-hidden taxes. It's a typical government response..notice a private business being successful and innovative, then find a new tax to kill it!

---
Back in the 50s and 60s, I remember seeing billboards that simple read "Impeach Earl Warren".. I asked my Dad about the and he mumbled fumingly that Earl Warren was the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court...I believe it's time for some "Impeach John Roberts" billboards.

From the "lightning strikes again.. and again" department - Online headline/story: "CNN accused of stacking audience vs. Bernie Sanders in town hall event * CNN admitted fault on Wednesday after being accused of failing to disclose Democratic Party ties of several attendees who were able to ask 2020 presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders questions during the network’s town hall on Monday. * Tara Ebersole, who asked about Sanders’ plan for universal health care, was introduced by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer as a “former biology professor,” but her reported LinkedIn page claims her current job is chair of the Baltimore County Democratic Party." -- You know.. back in the 90's, CNN's Baghdad office was outed for its omission of the many atrocities they knowingly knew about in Saddam Hussein's palace... because.. because CNN executives knew they would be omitted from Hussein's invitation list to parties at the Palace. Now, 30 years later, nothings really changed.. but now CNN just wants to be be on the the Washington and Hollywood guest lists.

I understand there is an Elizabeth Warren "fund-raising" coin available to buy.. how appropriate for a her. The only questions I have is did the design team put headdresses on each side, or different mouths on each side?

Consumer Reports prides itself (and way too much" on being THE ADVOCATE on all consumer issues.. Here's one they missed. I was under the weather Tuesday, so my bride picked up a copy of the latest "Consumer Reports". We've been talking about a new bed and mattress, and this issues cover concerned such..I had just applied a lotion to my hands to combat dryness, and when I closed the magazine, my left hand was BLUE.. the ink on the cover bled onto my lotion coated hands.. I guess Consumer Reports should do better research on the ink it uses.

---
Just got word about one of the Veterans Parkway eyesores I posted.. Councilor House was industrious enough to ask Norfolk Southern about them, and NS replied that "The crew that picks up cross ties is 30 miles north of Columbus and working its way south.  They should get here in a month or a little longer." I suggested Councilor House get some sort of "working date" from NS.. as those railroad crossties and spikes have been stacked like than for over 2 years, and it's obvious that NS hasn't had much interest in cleaning up after itself.. so why expect NS to change? I would think one refuge train could pick those up in one run in one day.

M/C L-E headline: "Cohen says Trump directed him to lie; GOP fires back" -- Good grief.. I expect a logical. at least semi-sane person to understand that when a man has already been convicted of lying to Congress, why would you even expect him to tell the truth in front of another Congressional Committee while he preparing to be incarcerated, but I'm even more disappointed in the L-E than Congress.. the L-E should not have a political agenda..

---
M/C L-E headline/story: "Downtown YMCA plans to open an extra day * Scott Balkcum, executive branch director of the downtown “Y” at 24 14th St., said Wednesday the 52,000-square-foot facility has tentatively scheduled to open from 1 to 5 p.m. each Sunday starting April 28" -- What a disappointment! We no longer have to wonder whether or not the Y.M.C.A has forgotten what the acronym stands for... Young Men's Christian Association.. The "Y" gave up it's gender exclusiveness years ago, but now appears to be giving up it's Christian heritage. Even though the proposed hours are "after church service times", they are smack in the middle of what few distracted... and precious hours families have to spend with each other.

---
M/C L-E "headLIE": "Jackson family: Accusers’ film neglects facts" -- Whoa! I do believe the only "neglect" of facts are the reality that the Jackson family doesn't want to deal with "facts"..

---
M/C L-E headline: "United Way raises more than $7 million" -- Well.. this is not so simple.. the United Way can state it raised pledges in excess of $7 Million, but doesn't want to talk about how much less is actually collected, or the costs of collecting, or the reality of how much actually get disbursed to social programs..

M/C headline/story: "Wall prototypes come down amid clouds of dust * The government on Wednesday tore down eight prototypes of President Donald Trump’s prized border wall that instantly became powerful symbols of his presidency when they were built nine months after he took office. * An owl flew out of a steel tube on top of one model." -- Whatta Godsend! Now liberals will jump to make Trump build the wall faster since the wall has become a nesting ground for owls! Either that or they will sue Trump...again..

Wednesday, February 27, 2019

From the "why is this news?" department - Online story: "The U.S. House of Representatives voted on Tuesday to revoke Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency to build a wall on the border with Mexico, handing the president a stinging rebuke on his signature issue." -- Seriously? MSM-13 felt the House voting against our National Security is news? The most telling news was the 13 Republicans who voted "YES", and the 2 Republicans/3 Democrats who did not vote at all.

Personal update: My granddaughter Sophia did well with her tonsillectomy yesterday, and is spending the day with us. As you can guess, she's already taking advantage of the situation.. and we are happy!

You know.. after all the dust has settled, the DEMentiacrats did not win the 240 seats they were celebrating earlier.. even if they acquire to two unsettled vacancies, they will still be short of the number and as 2020 gets closer, some of those PeLOUSY-clones will start running for their own re-elections which will probably aid America... and Trump..
The real interesting event would happen if the bill passes the Senate and Trump vetoes it as promised.. In the House, 245 (including 13 RINOs) voted "Yes" -- To override a Presidential veto, PeLOUSY would have to gather up 290 votes.. does anyone seriously think.. even "feel"... that 45 more Republicans will vote to do so?

---
Hmmm...the following link takes you to see various birds and animals during gestation. My question is: Would DEMentiacrats vote for animal abortions as well?

From the "absurdity personified" department - Online headline/story: "Tom Brady rookie card sells for $400,000 * Only 100 copies of the card were produced, and only two, including the one just sold, have been graded at 9 or higher. * “The offered BGS 9 is the highest graded example in the books, matched by only one other copy,” PWCC said in its listing. “Arguably the single finest example in the world and boasting many attributes of a GEM MINT card. While we see faint wisps of corner wear, the overall presentation is undeniably pack fresh.” * PWCC’s description dubbed it “certainly the most important modern football card ever auctioned publicly" -- You know, I cannot see the value of a sports card of a still playing athlete being worth $401,000.00. If I owned one of the 98 that weren't rated a "BGS 9" status, I think I would sue the maker of the ultra-rare 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket for . hmm.. "breach of contract"? Besides, in my youth. the true value of a sports cards was how much noise it made when you clothes-pinned it to your bicycle so the spokes fanned it as you peddled.

From the "maybe MSM-13 will give some credit for Trump getting Kim Jong Oooops into the same room with him" department -- The White House Press Corps got kicked out of it's Hanoi Hotel accommodations. I guess Kim Jong Oooops remembered most of them are holdovers from the Obama Administration days when Obama sent only Slick Willie and Dennis Rodman to talk with him..

Last week, a U of California Berkeley student harassed and punched a conservative on the campus.. the incident was well documented with videos and the attacker was clearly seen... yet.. yet there still hasn't been an arrest by the Campus Police. There is no justice for all until there IS justice for all.

---
Online headline: "HHS docs show thousands of alleged incidents of sexual abuse against unaccompanied minors in custody" -- Wow! I just figured this out..The only conclusion left is that DEMentiacrats are for this! Just look at how DEMentiacrats have "overlooked" the indiscretions of Epstein, Clinton, and Senator Bob Menendez...

---
Online headline/story: "Bernie Sanders’ campaign sees major shakeup, just one week after launch * Three of the top advisers who helped propel the senator's 2016 White House bid -- Tad Devine, Julian Mulvey and Mark Longabaugh -- are parting ways with Sanders, the campaign confirmed Tuesday. * Devine, a veteran political strategist who was a top adviser to the presidential campaigns of then-Vice President Al Gore in 2000 and then-Sen. John Kerry in 2004, served as Sanders’ chief strategist and leading surrogate in 2016. Longabaugh steered the campaign’s game plan for winning delegates and negotiating with the Democratic National Committee. Mulvey played a large role in creating the campaign’s television and digital ads." -- Previously worked for Gore, Kerry, and Bernie in 2016? If Bernie were as smart as he feels he is, not only should he not have hired them, he should have fired them before they quit.

Excuse me...hosted by Central High...of Phenix City? There's no way Columbus taxpayers got a fair shake out of this!

Hmmm..ironically, Michael Cohen is going to jail soon for lying to Congress. Why would DEMentiacrats Hmmm..ironically, Michael Cohen is going to jail soon for lying to Congress. Why would even DEMentiacrats want to ask him more questions... unless they've fed him more lies to contribute?

From the "enigma .. or oxymoron" department: How can DEMentiacrats fund children's healthcare programs, fund DFCS programs to remove children from dangerous homes/circumstances, then turn around and pass legislation to allow post-delivery infanticide?

---
From the "poll bias? What poll bias?" department - Online headline/story: "Amazon's Virginia HQ2 faces some New York-style pushback * Inspired in part by the success of community activists and elected officials like New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a group of advocates calling themselves "For Us, Not Amazon" is demanding that Northern Virginia reject the tech giant's plans for a second headquarters in Arlington. * A December poll showed 68 percent of Virginians approve of the Amazon deal, while 30 percent disapprove. * The "For Us, Not Amazon" coalition has spent weeks canvassing in those communities and has found the overwhelming majority of residents they've spoken to do not support the Amazon deal." -- Good grief "For US, Not Amazon" must have gotten CNN to conduct its poll. Now you can see why I put very little confidence in polls. Especially egregious for the "For Us, Not Amazon" poll is that 2020 Elections are gearing up, and VA Dems will not want to be on Bezos' shi*t list. Even Senator Mark Warner did not get 50% of the vote in Virginia in 2014.

M/C L-E headline/story: "MCSD offers up $5.5M plan to improve special education:

•(1) Interrelated Special Education Supports, which provides targeted student and teacher support in a co-taught general education setting.
•(2) Specialized Hybrid Transitional Class, designed to integrate students back into a co-taught classroom.
•(3) Therapeutic Day School, a separate facility for students who aren’t succeeding in the other options.
-- You know, options number 2 and 3 should be removed as we speak.. Can any MCSD Administrator or MCSB member state that students in the general education classes would not be hindered by slowing down THEIR education needs to meet the wants/needs for Special Ed children?

Online headline/story: "Bill would lower Georgia voting age * Bill sponsor Rep. (D-McDonough) said that teenagers are underrepresented in policy that directly affects their lives. * House Resolution 345 proposes an amendment to Georgia’s constitution that would lower the registration and voting age to 17-years-old for federal, state and local elections. Currently, citizens must be at least 17-and-a-half to register and be 18 years old to vote in all state and federal elections." -- Good grief.. how about just hanging out our students to dry! This "representative" has been on the job less than 2 months, and feels :qualified" to talk about our students needs...If the state recognizes 17 year olds as "adults", these same students will be .. basically.. open season or predator teachers, and the potential for illegal aliens getting on the voting lists are exponential as many 17 years now do not get their drivers' licenses until 18 or older. The only thing positive about 17 year olds voting would be those class officer races promising steak for lunch, ice cream on every plate, shorter school days, less classroom time for non-electives, mandatory "A" test scores, and automatic diplomas would come true.. wait a minute... Columbus already has the mandatory diploma section..

To boot, the 27th Amendment prohibits any state to change the law of age of voting.

---
Online "headLIE": Could Georgia Be the 38th State to Ratify the ERA?" -- Good grief.. the 7 year window to ratify the "ERA" Amendment closed in 1979.. GA's ratification is moot.. basically, a waste of time, money, and effort of our legislators.

From the "conflicted interest" department - M/C L-E headline: "UAW sues GM to stop plant closings in 3 states" Good grief.. Government Motors GAVE the UAW 17.5% of its shares in the re-organizational process following the Obama bailout.. and while still the largest shareholder, the UAW sold off more shares that they could to keep a member of their choice on the GM board, and now UAW is basically suing itself. And GM wonders why sales are down.... Hey UAW, Fiasco-Chrysler is coming back to town!

Online headline/story: "After Putin's warning, Russian TV lists nuclear targets in U.S. * Russian state television has listed U.S. military facilities that Moscow would target in the event of a nuclear strike, and said that a hypersonic missile Russia is developing would be able to hit them in less than five minutes. * The targets included the Pentagon and the presidential retreat in Camp David, Maryland." -- Good grief... Hey DEMentiacrats, if this doesn't tell you who Russia is concerned with, then let me explain it to you s-l-o-w-l-y....Trump will not be at either spot should conditions escalate.. but what is most telling is that the Russian media didn't name the Capitol Building.. Guess Putin wants to make sure Washington stay in chaos with his Communist friends in charge...
---
Wow..talk about hypocrisy...the Democrat Lt Governor of Virginia made an impassioned plea for media not to be in a "rush for judgment", while the Democrat State Attorney of West Palm Beach, FL strutted around like a performing seal in front of a mainstream media circus.
---
Talk about inanely flapping one's jaws ..Dave Aronberg ..State Attorney of West Palm Beach, stood in front of a microphone and actually said that indigents and the wealthy are treated the same on prostitution charges. You guessed it..he's a DEMentiacrat.
---
I was not comfortable... with Trump scheduled to be in Asia, I think Pence needed to be back in the US before Trump takes off. Who knows what coup could be attempted to seat PeLOUSY in the Oval Office with the Prez and VP out of Washington.
---
Why is the focus on student loans being 6-figure amounts for mundane degrees...I understand a large loan debt for a professional and licensed career degree when a recipient has an opportunity for a higher paying job, but when a job has no chance to provide higher income, we need to look at the cost of education.
---
You know, the next time a DEMentiacrat presidential hopeful mentions Medicare for All, he/she should be asked to compare his/her plan with Venezuela's actual results.
---
SMH...These super-wealthy liberals are so hypercritical.. They talk about not paying enough taxes yet have tons of financial planners figuring out the least amount of taxes they can pay...they don't make voluntary donations to the Government, and they leave the bulk in foundations because they don't feel the government will use it well. So...why are Democrat voters loyal to their erudite elitists?
---
Senator Kamala Harris is going to have real credibility issues.. She says we have to look at science facts versus science fiction when discussing "Medicare for All", yet does not look at ANY facts when discussing the border wall.
---
I find it amusing and hypercritical.. that DEMentiacrats have adopted "MediCare for All" versus "Affordable Care for All" to salvage Obama's legacy program.
---
Heard Eric Swalwell, D-CA, made an impassioned...well, more whiny than impassioned, plea for free college. Hmmm...then how come this California kid didn't stay in California for free college rather than go to U of Maryland where his parents not only had to pay for him, they also got stuck with out-of-states tuition fees?
---
Online headline: Amtrak train with 183 passengers stranded in Oregon for more than 24 hours" -- Some 'bullet train'... more like a "bull-sh*t train'

The hospital provided Sophia with a special bear...I wonder if it will show up as a $499.00 "bill a bear". Was a comfort...

Think about this...how well could the world sleep knowing most of the world's nuclear bombs were under control of Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin. Ashraf Ghani, Hassan Rouhani, and Nancy PeLOUSY.

Apparently the Oscars was "host-less" this year... sorta makes 2019 a trifecta.. combined with "tasteless" and "classless".

---
Will someone tell Senator Kamala Harris there was no lynching of Jussie Smollett...in fact the last political "Lynching" we had was when Loretta LYNCH put a noose around the neck of justice for putting the Clintons!

---
What is it with DEMentiacrats this year? Now the Virginia Lt. Governor is also comparing himself to a lynching business. Fact is the only "lynching" in America of recent years has been the LYNCHING Loretta gave to JUSTICE when she wrote off Hellary's crimes in an airplane with Slick Willie.

From the "hey,, Democrat base, are you really listening?" department - Online headline/story: "Bill Maher mocks Middle Americans as less 'affluent and educated,' saying 'they want to be us' * We have orchestras and theaters districts and world-class shopping. We have Chef Wolfgang Puck, they have Chef Boyardee.” “The fly-over states have become the passed-over states, that’s why red state voters are so pissed off. They don’t hate us, they want to be us." -- "they want to be us"? Hey. union and blue collar workers, blacks and Latinos... Like Hellary, Bill Maher is is saying you are "deplorable" as well..

---
From the all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" department - Online story" ""Fox & Friends" weekend co-host Pete Hegseth said Sunday that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-N.Y.) move to cap higher-level staff incomes in order to pay every member of her staff an annual salary of at least $52,000 was an example of communism and socialism." -- Hmmm.. so... regardless of skill level.. regardless of effort... everybody will make the same wage.. in Real World 101, this means the most productive will leave first.. followed by those who make a genuine effort. and soon only the unskilled and slackards remain thus making $52K the new minimum wage for minimum effort. Of course, only the Queen Bee will get $174K and all the perks of office.

---
I heard former Senator Humphrey of New Hampshire on Joe Pag's show..He's working with Tom Steyers to get Trump impeached..Humphrey says Trump is not defending the Constitution. WHAT! If anybody is not defending our Constitution, start with PeLOUSY, then Schumer and every politician against building the Wall, and maintaining citizenship.

Nike must have really spread money around this weekend...after the Carolina/Duke game when Williamson's left Nike "blew out" in front of millions watching on TV, yet Saturday when Duke played Syracuse, it was almost moot.

---
Looks like the number one question for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is ... doe s she even have a legal residence in New York? Seems no one has seen her come or go when she was in New York last week when she was there in "the City".. We know she lives in an upscale trendy condo unit in the Washington area that goes for over $4.00-per-foot-per-month

---
From the "and how does this actually matter?" department - A judge in NC has ruled laws on Voter IDs and capping the State Income tax are unconstitutional because r=-their are districts in NC he feels are gerrymandered.. I think the judge forgot that both the referendums passed statewide with 55%-to--57% voter approval.. Judge,, a statewide vote is not determined by how many districts voted yea or nay but by the total statewide voter on each side. How can the statewide numbers be unconstitutional?

Online headline/story: "5 House Democrats took $60,000 trip to South Africa for BeyoncĂ© concert, records show * They attended the “Global Citizen Mandela 100” concert from Dec. 1-3 to celebrate the centenary birth of the late Nelson Mandela and raise awareness of global poverty. * The lawmakers appeared in a photo that the Rev. Al Sharpton, who also attended the event, posted on his Twitter page." The trip was paid for by Global Citizen, a nonprofit that lobbies for anti-poverty programs around the world, the Washington Examiner reported." -- I do not care who paid for , I want to know if all of them declared the trip as "income"... and I want to know why they were lollygagging with tax-evader Al Sharlatan.

M/C L-E headline: "Clashes erupt as aid trickles into Venezuela" -- Pop Quiz! How many Hollywood elitists and DEMentiacrats were at the border trying to help aid get INTO the people of Venezuela?

M/C L-E headline/story: "Metra, riders frustrated by frequent breakdowns with equipment, service * Metra shows that the more than 4,000 riders using public transportation daily must deal with the potential for multiple breakdowns and delays. * Records provided by the agency show that in a six-month period, the transit system recorded three to four breakdowns daily or 539 calls for its fixed route buses" - How many buses have taxpayers bought for Metra? If 4 breakdowns a day occur for 539 daily calls, it sounds like we have between 135 and 180.. Of course, these figures have been provided by Ben Wright,,, you know.. Hasn't Ever Been Wright?

C'mon Council.. surely one of you is interested in letting Columbus taxpayers know about the wreck ex-mayor Tom-LYING-son had or in why Zeph Baker has never turned in his donation/expenditure figures

M/C L-E headline: "Counting starts in Nigeria’s delayed poll, after attack" -- Oh! Did the paid attackers on Smollett get to turn in their absentee ballots?

From the "maybe we should call them 'DEMentiacrats'?" department - Online story: "In town halls, television interviews and social media posts, Democratic presidential candidates are touting their support for "Medicare-for-all," higher taxes on the wealthy and a war on climate change. But foreign policy, one of the chief responsibilities of a president, is largely taking a back seat on the campaign trail. * Former Vice President Joe Biden is seizing on that opening to position himself as the sole global policy expert in a crowded Democratic field if he decides to run for president." -- Good grief.. has MSM-13 forgotten that Bleep Veep Biden's foreign policy experience was limited to him being the unplayed back-up for the Apologist-in-Chief.

---
From the "maybe we definitely should call them 'DEMentiacrats'?" department - Online headline: "Sen. Feinstein debates children over climate change" -- Oooops,, I first thought she was defending herself against the current group of freshman DEMs, but she was actually debating children... and not winning! Maybe Sen Feinstein should take another look at what k=]liberals are teaching in public schools.

---
From the "wrong lesson learned" department - Online headline/story: "The Jussie Smollett case's far-reaching consequences * Smollett’s alleged fabrication “is the worst possible thing at the worst possible time,” said Brian Levin, who directs the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino." -- You know, what libs are saying is that Smollett may keep victims from coming forward.. WRONG! What Smollett has done has embarrassed MSM-13, liberalism, too, within it's own world of LA-LA-LAND, but the real lesson that should be learned is HOAXES will be exposed!

---
From the "we CAN cure Climate Change" department - Have I ever told you I love lists? Well, I do, and especially this one: Online headline: "The 15 Most Polluted Cities in the United States" -- Hey, PeLOUSY! Read'em and weep! Well, assuming you CAN read.. the "weeping" will be unavoidable.. California has 8.. yes, 8 (including 1,2.3 and 4) of the top 15 most POLLUTED CITIES IN THE COUNTRY...in descending order: Sacramento, El Centro, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Modesto, Visalia, Fresno, and Bakersfield. Yes, there is a cure.. an obvious cure.. impeach every California Congressperson who ran on a :clean air" platform, and have President Trump appoint new sane ones.

---
From the "maybe it's time for Warren Buffett to walk away" department - Online story: " Warren Buffett on Saturday appeared to fault U.S. President Donald Trump for taking too much credit for the nation's economic growth, while acknowledging that market conditions are making it tough for his Berkshire Hathaway Inc to find more big companies to buy. * Buffett lamented these states of affairs in his widely read annual letter to Berkshire shareholders. * Accompanying the letter was more bad news, that sinking stock prices and a big writedown for the company's Kraft Heinz Co investment fueled a $25.39 billion fourth-quarter net loss, and caused Berkshire to post its lowest annual profit since 2001." -- Blaming Trump? I don't think companies doing better under Trump so Buffett can buy them "cheap" is a problem for the US.. the world for that matter.. but Buffett should look deeper in the mirror and see the man who supported Democrats.. and particularly John Kerry, who probably influenced Buffett but into Heinz for too much.

Hey Columbus! The "Pain Center"... what sparked the multi-department raid, and why has publicity been snuffed? Pass along what you KNOW...

Sam's Club may be thinkin' it's adapting to the market, but it's really not when you think about overall shopping experience. I'm willing to check myself out, but it's getting so you have to retrieve a cart in the parking lot in order to shop. This is not how I want to shop...something's gotta give.

Hey, Columbus Council... Let's not put Kadie the Cow on the back burner. Has Council acted on this? Can't think of a better solution than entrusting Kadie with Chick-fil-A.

With the recent influx of new as well old cases of sexual harassment or abuse in the news, I find it hard to understand how Jehmu Greene has returned to TV talk shows but no one asks her about her charges of sexual abuse that happened to her at the 1996 Democrat National Convention. She should either get satisfaction or apologize.

Online headline: "Bernie Sanders Announces He’s Running for President, Has 100% Pro-Abortion Voting Record" -- Do Democrats realize they are eliminating future voters?

Online headline: "ISIS bride's dad suing Trump, US to let her back into the country" --
What kind of influence does her dad feel he will have AFTER she's been indoctrinated by ISIS when he couldn't control her before she left for there?

It personally offends me that Democrats are trying to associate Smollett as an icon in the level of Jackie Robinson. Do current Democrats even KNOW who Jackie Robinson was .. or why he's important? Every baby boomer should be indignant!

Patriot owner Robert Kraft seems to have been uncovered in a Hail Mary situation ...wonder if the receiver noted whether the 'package' was delivered under-inflated.

What is it with Democrats? All they've done during the Trump years and Kavanaugh hearings was to demand investigations, yet when they have Democrats in Virginia involved in acts of racism and sexual assaults, none of the Democrats are interested in getting an investigation initiated.

From the :if you didn't feel Democrats could be so stupid.. now you KNOW!" department - Online headline: "Transgender Actor Asserts Existence of ‘Biologically Female Penis’ -- Good grief... wonder if they march around locker rooms seeing who does.. or doesn't... measure up?

I don't care what the specifics are concerning the birth of that Alabama ISIS bride, but joining an enemy army and destroying her US issued passport were her declaration of abandoning all her rights for consideration as an American citizen....period!

From the "big reveal" department - Online headline/story: "Statue vandals seem to have mistaken WWII hero for Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, museum officials say * A white marble monument of U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William C. Lee, who commanded the 101st Airborne Division's "Screaming Eagles" during World War II, was doused with flammable liquid and set on fire last week, museum officials said. The statue bears black scorch marks running up its left side. * The suspects seem to have confused Lee with Gen. Robert E. Lee, who led the Confederate army during the Civil War some 80 years earlier, officials said. * “I was surprised that anybody would do that to this museum statue,” Mark Johnson, curator of the General William C. Lee Airborne Museum in Dunn, told Goldsboro's WNCN-TV. “This is not a Civil War museum and this is not Robert E. Lee.” * (General William C.) Lee was known as the father of the U.S. Airborne Army and an international war hero of World War II, he told the station." -- When it comes to stupidity, liberals burn that candle at both ends! Forget that the vandals obviously have a poor education.. that's by liberal design, but it's unforgivable for a museum curator to feel it would been OK if the vandalized historical statue had been General Robert E, Lee.

I really didn't think I'd agree with PeLOUSY on her assessment on what the border wall represents, but she's right... it IS about PATRIOTISM! Sadly, PeLOUSY has demonstrated her complete lack of it.

It's sad that our Columbus Council isn't doing its job. If Council wants public input, it ought to be on a November General Election date with a question restricted to whether or not...yes or no.. the public feels Council should do anything other than demand existing building maintenance be the primary concern and that new projects only be allowed from funds not allocated to maintenance.. oh, and that all new projects must include a maintenance escrow account.

What about the latest illegal alien shooting in California...the perp was deported 3 times, and released from CA jails 5 times afterward even though ICE put a "detainer" notice that ignored 5 times. Thank God the police officer escaped unscathed.

After Trump created his prison reform policy, blacks in America should be really PO'd at California Democrats for absolving Hispanics of consequences via "sanctuary" status.

Was so glad that a judge ruled that the FBI was wrong when it made a plea bargain deal with Jeffrey Epstein without telling the victims of Epstein's lust. Not just because Epstein deserved this, but it reflects the depth... and lengthy time frame the FBI has been covering up Bill as well as Hellary Clinton. You know.. Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein give "a can of worms" a whole new definition category.

From the "interesting concept" department - Online headline: "'NOT U.S. CITIZEN' | Proposed law could put legal status on Georgia driver's licenses * A bill introduced by Rep. Jeff Jones would require anyone who gets a license in Georgia - and isn't a citizen - to get a special license." -- Interesting concept... but... why not just arrest anyone who applies as an illegal on the spot!

---
From the "Talk about lip service" department - Online headline: "‘With those rights come lots of responsibilities’: Woodall cosponsors bill to provide $30 million for nationwide civics education" -- Good grief! There are 98,000 public schools in the US.. allocating $30,000,000.00 would be giving about $300.00 per school...not per class.. not per student.. PER SCHOOL! Besides, by the time administrative costs were determined/assigned, schools probably wouldn't receive a dime of the money...

Hmmm.. you have wonder how many Nike shoe displays/ads were pulled after Zion Williamson's Nike shoe "blew out" on National TV...

M/C L-E headline/story: "Venezuelan forces shoot civilians at border * security forces fired on a group of indigenous Venezuelans protesting the government’s vow to block aid deliveries from outside the country." -- Hmmm... Hey PeLOUSY.. how about reminding us how proud you were when Venezuela banned civilian guns in 2012, and how much the homicide rate has increased since...

---
Let's see.. by decree of President Ford, February was officially declared Black History Month... in 1983, President Reagan signed a bill creating Dr, Martin Luther King Jr., Day... in 2018, President Trump made the MLK Center in Atlanta a National Park.. Maybe February should designate Presidents Day as Republican Presidents Day.

In a commentary by Tribune News Service's ANN MCFEATTERS, she(well .. unless she's decides to be a male this week) says: "We have dozens and dozens of examples that prove Trump is a bad president, wrong for these times and, indeed, wrong for any time. We know what abuse of power looks like. We know what incompetence looks like. We know what obstruction of justice looks like. We know what misogyny looks like. It looks like Trump" -- "We have dozens and dozens of examples that prove Trump is a bad president"? This is what is wrong with MSM-13. MSM-13 ONLY focuses on what it determines to be what's wrong with Trump.. The public might give MSM-13 some credibility if it at least mentioned some of (preferably ALL) the good aspects Trump has created and wants to create within our country. Fairness creates credibility.. MSM-13 has no credibility.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Democrats warn of subpoenas, lawsuits over Mueller report * Rep. Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said on Sunday that House Democrats were prepared to go to court to force the release of the final report from the special counsel, Robert Mueller, and subpoena Mueller to testify if it was not made public." -- Good grief.. Schi** happens!.. but in this case, DEMentiacrats may just regret it... Mueller has leaked about everything he could all along to keep the funding flowing, and still hasn't found anything on Trump... and all the other principles are Democrat pawns.

---
Hmmm... do you wonder why Ocasio-Cortez, Gabbard, Omar, Tlaib and Bernie haven't rushed to Venezuela to help bring attention to their cause?

Now the M/C L-E is trying to outdo the Chamber.. the Chamber wants to rebrand Columbus with "mottoes/slogans" and the M/C L-E wants to do so with symbols.. Christopher Columbus, Fountains and Viagra Falls didn't do it so now the Shoal Bass that being thrown into the frying pan... I want to suggest one myself.. how about the Albatross! It just makes sense.. With so many DEMentiacrats here keeping the City suppressed in a Republican run government, we feel like an albatross has been hanging around our necks... besides.. it would compliment the Phoenix bird on the other side of the river.

M/C L-E headline: "Shooting is city’s 7th homicide of 2019" -- Whoa! After a slow start, it looks like we may be on schedule for a record breaking year,, If 7 holds steady for Jan/Feb, then we're on track for 42 for 2019.

From the "well, isn't that special" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "M/C L-E headline: " Cuba votes on updated constitution * Cubans voted Sunday on a new constitution that expands recognition of private property and updates a Soviet bloc-era charter for the socialist nation." --- Hmmm.. so now the Cuban Communists are going to sell back confiscated property to different people it took it away from..

Dustin Johnson is back and on track! He won the WGC Tournament in Mexico this weekend.. Did you notice that Mexico has a wall built around the course? Walls work!

How refreshing! The Superintendent of Police in Shicago was indignant at Jussie Smollett intentionally trying to elevate his status by creating a false situation of racism and hatred. How refreshing to watch Democrat politicians backtrack on their "rush to judgment". If this had happened last year., MSM-13 would still be saying Smollett was still a victim because of Trump.

---
From the "pot calling the kettle..." department - HuffPOOPOO story: :Lawyers for “Empire” star Jussie Smollett accused Chicago police of carrying out an “organized law enforcement spectacle” against Smollett hours after the police superintendent claimed the actor staged a hate crime to boost his career." --Good grief! Forget what Smollett "caused", these lawyers are going to turn this "spectacle" into a pure DEBACLE!

---
From the "she got this right!" department - Online headline: "Robin Roberts calls Jussie Smollett hoax a ‘setback for race relations’" -- Talk about nailing it"! Too bad she screwed over herself by sympathetically interviewing Smollet last week (which will "setback her own career). Hoaxes like this.. and ones preceding it, are slaps in the face of every person who has ever been assaulted or humiliated in a racially hatred situation!

---
Online headline: "PAC aligned with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez paid boyfriend $6G for marketing work" -- Hmmm ... this hardly appears to be an "arm's length" transaction, and hardly anything Ocasio-Cortez could feign knowledge of..

---
Statement: I'm finished with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.. D-NY...Her outbreaks of stupidity - which exceed all the reveals we are seeing concerning Jussie Smollett - defy keeping up with them in an increasingly difficult-to-be-civil manner. So, unless she just does something extraordinarily over-the-top, she can just keep my readers informed by the other media.

Did you see the jacket former President Obama wore at the Carolina-Duke basketball game.. He had "44" stitched on his "LEFT" sleeve.. Whatta an ego.... I'm more surprised he didn't have "1" stitched her... but to be honest.. the "Number 2" would have been more accurate.

From the "well, it's a good start" department - Online headline/story: "Prosecutors broke law by not informing victims of Jeffrey Epstein plea bargain, judge rules * The judge wrote that evidence showed that Epstein "sexually abused more than 30 minor girls" between 1999 and 2007 "at his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, and elsewhere in the United States and overseas." Epstein, Marra added, "used paid employees to find and bring minor girls to him [and] worked in concert with others to obtain minors not only for his own sexual gratification, but also for the sexual gratification of others." * Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Oversight Subcommittee, said in a statement that he was "relieved" at the judge's ruling. * "Jeffrey Epstein is a monster and his victims deserve justice," Sasse said. " ... The fact that it’s taken this long to get this far is heartbreaking and infuriating. The Department of Justice should use this opportunity to reopen its non-prosecution agreement so that Epstein and anyone else who abused these children are held accountable." * In addition to his Palm Beach mansion, Epstein, now 66, allegedly operated his sex ring at a residence in New York City and his private island estate on the 72-acre Virgin Islands home dubbed “Orgy Island.” by some. Court documents obtained by Fox News in 2016 showed former President Bill Clinton took at least 26 trips flying aboard Epstein's private jet, known as the "Lolita Express," and apparently ditched his Secret Service detail on some of the excursions." -- Looks like Bill Clinton may have relapsed after treatment for his "sexual addiction".. being exposed again "couldn't happen to a VICER guy".

---
Online headline/story: "Conservative activist assaulted at UC-Berkeley campus during recruitment drive * University of California police want the public's help tracking down a suspect whose brutal alleged assault of a conservative activist on the Berkeley campus was caught on video." -- Well.. two years ago, the Berkeley police would have asked to hold the assaulters' jackets, and awarded them 'honorary Junior Patrolman pins" .. Look like progress is being made...

From the "let's parse Kamala Harris' response" department - Online story: "Sen. Kamala Harris, who once labeled the Jussie Smollet attack claim an "attempted modern day lynching," spoke out on Thursday after Smollett was charged and arrested with disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false police report. * The California lawmaker tweeted a statement expressing her sadness, frustration, and disappointment on the same day Smollett, who’s been released from jail, appeared before Cook County Judge John Fitzgerald Lyke Jr. * When anyone makes false claims to police, it not only diverts resources away from serious investigations but it makes it more difficult for other victims of crime to come forward,” Harris wrote. " -- Kamala Harris has a habit of "rushing to judgment"! The one thing to take from this is that she has not apologized for her action involving her conduct at Judge Kavanaugh's 'inquisition' (nor apologized to him and his family). nor is she apologizing for her "rush to judgment" in defending Jussie Smollett from the git-go. Harris is only trying to cover up her racial biases by blaming Smollett rather than herself.

---
Poor Kamala Harris.. she hates "the wall" but chastises Beto on his stance on :open borders", and now her Dad is upset at what his parents grave site reactions are that his daughter claims most Jamaicans smoke.. and inhale marijuana..

From the "it ain't law...yet.. " department - Online story: "The New Mexico House of Representatives has voted in favor of automatic voter registration legislation. * Lawmakers late Tuesday night approved a bill that would change that state's voter registration to be "opt-out" at motor vehicle offices, according to Las Cruces Sun News. * Currently, drivers in New Mexico can choose to be registered to vote when they get their driver's license or ID at a Motor Vehicle Division office through an "opt-in" system, the newspaper noted. * If the new legislation passes the state Senate, the registration process would be changed to automatically register people unless they choose to opt out, it added." -- While it isn't a law until the NM Senate also passes it and the NM Governor signs it, it is the direction Democrats want for every state,, they've tried it in GA (Motor-Voter) unsuccessfully but it will be back if Dems take the Legislature and Governor's office again. The evil in this is the number of people.. illegals included.. who will be registered unknowingly, and be on the rolls even if the driver moves out of state or dies.

This is scary as hell! Online story: "Per the New York Times, Obama’s forthcoming library won’t be a library at all. Instead, it’ll be a “working center for citizenship,” run privately by the Obama Foundation, that lacks some of the key characteristics of past libraries. * In a break with precedent, there will be no research library on site, and none of Mr. Obama’s official presidential records. Instead, the Obama Foundation will pay to digitize the roughly 30 million pages of unclassified paper records from the administration so they can be made available online. * And the entire complex, including the museum chronicling Mr. Obama’s presidency, will be run by the foundation, a private nonprofit entity, rather than by the National Archives and Records Administration, the federal agency that administers the libraries and museums for all presidents going back to Herbert Hoover. * The chief concerns, it seems, are the lack of involvement by the National Archives and Records Administration, effectively fully privatizing a presidential library. That’s not great! The government, represented in this case by NARA, is responsible to the people in a way that private foundations, even non-profit ones, are not. * The second problem is digitalizing the traditional contents of a presidential library. The Obama Foundation is framing digitization as the way of the future (which, sure), but the worry is that tossing a bunch of data online without professional archivists at NARA working on it won’t be great for future research." -- This will be Ex-President Obama's personal version of Wikipedia/WikiLeaks which allow readers to edit/reword content.. I'll bet that if this happens, we will find that Obama was a "Straight A" student at Columbia, was an All-American basketball player from every liberal school in "all 57 states", and that not only was he born in Hawaii, but his father was also. Oh! And he and Michelle's legal status have been restored.. in fact.. they never lost them..

From the "does the NCAA know this?" department - Online headline: "Duke's Zion Williamson has $8M insurance policy against pre-NBA injuries: Report" -- This also goes along with whispered comments that Williamson already has a guaranteed shoe contract with Nike once he is drafted. I have a few of questions...who paid for this $8 MILLION dollar policy, and who arranged it, and who has negotiated his shoe contract?.. Oh.. and has any money institution.. or agent made loans against those possibilities while Williamson is still in college?

---
From the 'old news' department - Online headline: "From the "how stupid" department - "
Joe Biden Tells German Globalists: ‘America Is an Embarrassment’" -- Sounds like "old news" and news that ended in January of 2017 when Trump took office.

From the "don't we wish" department - Online headline/story: "Chelsea Clinton Complains Her Grandmother Did Not Have Access to Planned Parenthood" -- She can deny all she wants that she is not advocating for her grandmother to have made the other choice, but she cannot deny people thinking what she meant... and agreeing with her that we wish Chelsea grandmother had only Hugh and Tony..

Online headline/story: "Burger King trolls KFC's Colonel Sanders with new grilled chicken sandwich – the K.F.G. * In promoting a new grilled chicken sandwich, the Burger King mascot is wearing a white outfit similar to what KFC's Sanders wears in the chicken chain's advertisements. * "When we’re talking about flame grilling chicken there’s only one way to go, K.F.G.," says a narrator with a southern twang in the 26-second Burger King video released Thursday. "Yeah y’all, it’s the King of Flame-Grilling and he’s introducing his new flame-grilled chicken sandwich. ... When it comes to flame-grilling, a King always outranks a colonel." -- Hmm.. and the "King" already has a better tan than George Hamilton.

Speaking of "fast food" and "getting what one wished for is not always good", remember when Columbus' EX-District 133 Representative POSold was trying so hard to get Uber exempt from collecting sales taxes on it's fares? Then we learned that McDonald's was using Uber to deliver McDonald's meals? Well, the latest results are in and the 20% fee paid to Uber is killing the bottom line of McDonald's delivered meals.

From the "how stupid" department - Online headline: "Chris Cuomo concerned about his family after showing up on Coast Guard officer's hit list" --Good grief! Cuomo knows the guy has been arrested and de-armed and nullified.

From the "good candidate for next chapter of "What Happened" - department - Online headline: "Abrams To Keynote Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Annual Heritage Dinner" - You know.. if Abrams had a message for all Georgians, she would be reaching out to those who did not.. and probably will not vote for her.

---
Online headline: "Why Congress Still Hasn't Funded Hurricane Michael Emergency Relief
* The federal inaction, which left Georgia lawmakers seething, triggered a demand by Gov. Brian Kemp and other state leaders for Congress to finance aid that’s stalled for months amid infighting over President Donald Trump’s border wall." -- The Federal inaction"? You can put this directly on PeLOUSY's shoulders.. she intentionally left funding out of the Continuing Resolution bill to keep the government open feeling it might be politically damaging to Trump.. but it will backfire on her and Congressman Bishop who voted for the occlusion.

Online headline: "Nike ‘working to identify issue’ after Duke star Zion Williamson sprains knee when shoe bursts open" -- "Working to identify the issue"? How about cheap foreign labor..possibly child labor?

From the "doesn't look like my apology will be needed" department - Online story: "CHICAGO — "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett was charged Wednesday with making a false police report when he said he was attacked in downtown Chicago by two men who hurled racist and anti-gay slurs and looped a rope around his neck, police said. * Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said prosecutors charged Smollett with felony disorderly conduct, an offense that could bring one to three years in prison and force the actor to pay for the cost of the investigation into his report of a Jan. 29 beating." -- Hey, KaeperPRICK.. you can get off your knee now.. justice has been started!

Yesterday was THE game of 2019 to watch... UNC vs Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium... College BB can't get any better than this in 2019. The game was a Carolina 88-72 rout but it wasn't the only "blow out" in Cameron last night.. While Zion Williamson should recover from his injury, Nike got it's comeuppance.. Williamson's left Nike shoe had a blow out 33 seconds into the game.. neither Williamson ... nor his right Nike shoe made it back into the game. Hey, Nike, I do believe Williamson's "knee" is more important than KaeprPRICK's.

Liberal spinmeisters are out trying to cast doubt on Nick Sandmann's case against the WaPo based on ' absence of malice'.. There was malice..it occurred as soon as the WaPo continued the lie after the complete videos revealed the truth of what happened TO Nick Sandmann.

So the Alabama girl who fled the US to join ISIS and encouraged the killing of American soldiers wants to come back. She even says she's "sorry and is willing to "face the consequences". Well..little girl. ..you ARE facing the consequences ...she created her own consequences.

The NYTimes was built on a reputation of "all the news that's FIT to print"... the NYTimes is now decaying on "all the news that's S*** to print".

From the "Yes Virginia, there is a pause" department - Online story: "The editor-in-chief of USA Today apologized Wednesday after the Arizona newspaper she used to manage uncovered her past role in publishing a college yearbook that included a photo of people in blackface. * The photo in question was published in the 1988-89 Arizona State University yearbook, of which Nicole Carroll was an editor. It shows two people at a Halloween party dressed in makeup as Mike Tyson and his then-wife Robin Givens, according to USA Today, based in McLean, Va." -- Yes Virginia, their is a pause.. but the Smollett scam has about run it's course, and now the world is looking back at Virginia.. again.. and the Democrat Party still has a "black-eye". What's most ironic about this latest incident is that Mike Tyson is a Trump fan and probably wasn't offended .. then nor now..

Hey Columbus Council...have you come to your senses about stopping any hope of people who want to build 'tiny houses' in the Historic District? While I'm checking on past 'stuff'...have you shaken sanity back into the GA DOT for spending $200,000.00 on an investigation as to why traffic backs up on the JR Allen Parkway because of piss-poor design and execution on the Alabama side terminal point?

From a BCer..  From the "a picture speaks 10,000 words" department:

WTVM-9 headline/story: "Community votes 18-1 to move Columbus Government Center in final public meeting * COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - In the final meeting to get the public’s take on what should happen to the Columbus Government Center, there is an almost unanimous vote to move the building and judicial center to a new location." -- No names! Looks like Mayor Skippy is gonna carry out Tom-LYING-son plan... What's sad is that our Council will let the an affirmation vote of 19 unnamed people with an agenda justify the decision they wanted to make anyway. Moving the last of Government services out of the downtown scene will kill the revitalization effort.

There's a "fake news" story out about CNN hiring Jussie Smollett as an investigative reporter... It's by the Babylon Bee... though it's easy to believe as it fits in with what CNN has perpetrated.. "fake news". CNN should reflect on why this story is so EASY to believe..

From the "whatta bunch of BS!" department - Online headline/story: "Google claims built-in Nest mic was ‘never intended to be a secret’ * Google has admitted it made an error when it didn’t disclose that its Nest Secure home security system included an on-device microphone. In a statement given to Business Insider, a spokesperson from the company said, “The on-device microphone was never intended to be a secret and should have been listed in the tech specs. That was an error on our part.” -- "error"? Error my arse! I'm gonna bet Google had the P&L figures on what a secret microphone would bring them long before it built those mics into the apparatus.

Online headline/story: "‘The whole community is terrified’: Hundreds rally against increased ICE presence in NC * A crowd of several hundred took to the streets Monday to protest increased immigration enforcement in North Carolina — and the paralyzing fear they said it had instilled in Charlotte’s immigrant communities. * After Sheriff Garry McFadden reversed a policy that notifies ICE about the legal status of inmates in county jails, the federal agency said it had no choice but to increase enforcement activity in Mecklenburg County. Two weeks ago, ICE officers arrested over 200 immigrants living here illegally in a four-day span, as part of an enforcement operation they called a “new normal.” * “Every day we leave our houses to go work for our families, and this is how they repay us: Sending ICE to our houses, to our streets, to the places we go eat,” Barrios told the crowd in Spanish. “It doesn’t matter where we go. They’re there.”" -- "this is how they repay us"? Good grief! Only in liberal conclaves can illegals gather and complain about being treated as illegals!

AJC Opinion commentary headline/content: "Opinion: UGA teaching assistant shouldn’t pay for pointing out racism * An African-American teaching assistant at the University of Georgia continues to face a backlash for his social media posts about "fighting" white people. * Among the statements by philosophy doctoral student Irami Osei-Frimpong that led some UGA graduates to threaten to withhold donations: "...some white people may have to die for black communities to be made whole in this struggle to advance to freedom." " -- You know I agree.. no one should be punished for discussing racism in a teaching moment, but doing so in lecture form is a different story.. delivery of an opinion that excludes open .. and civil.. discussion is about as racist as anyone can get.

---
Another AJC commentary piece: "Newly announced Democratic presidential candidate and blizzard survivor Amy Klobuchar, the U.S. senator from Minnesota, has a fundraiser in Atlanta on Friday at the home of Gordon Giffin, the former U.S. ambassador to Canada. *
Many supporters of Stacey Abrams are expressing private displeasure." -- Good grief.. Abrams got the lion's share of her funding from out-of-state sources, so .. who would she have actually represented had she won?

---
Online headline/story: "Georgia elections officials still don’t know when 2020 primary will be held * it's presumed that Georgia will hold the 2020 primary on March 3, joining California, Texas, Massachusetts and a bloc of southern states that has already picked that date." -- You know.. maybe Congress should enact a law requiring state NOT to have primaries before 60 days from the Parties' respective National Conventions dates. This would enable voters a longer look-see at their Party's candidates..

---
AJC "headlie"/story: "In HB 316, House GOP leaders concede that Stacey Abrams had a point * Republicans in the state Capitol consider House Bill 316, which would authorize the purchase of a new $150 million touchscreen voting system, to be a very important piece of legislation." -- WRONG AJC! HB316 would protect our state from Stacey Abrams' "point"..

---
From the "Columbus Democrats should have thought about this more" department - M/C L-E headline: "Softball complex, museum want state cash to boost tourism" -- Good grief.. Columbus' Democrat controlled atmosphere grovels too much.. It spends it's efforts on undermining potential growth in Columbus by isolating the City from the governing party. Why does the local Democrat legislative group feel that GA should reward Columbus when Columbus votes 60% against Republican leadership, and even provides a Columbus woman who's husband is the City Manager to be the Democrat Party's " "minority whip"?

---
M/C L-E headline: "Domestic dispute leaves 55-year-old man dead on Tip Top Drive, coroner says" -- Hmmm.. in simple language... NUMBER 6! Now, since obviously there is still a local reporter who lives in the area, how about the M/C L-E sending him out on a follow-up story about Alstin Martin who was shot along death Number 5...

---
M/C L-E story: "The Federal Reserve provided more clarity about what prompted officials in January to suddenly pause the Fed’s steady campaign of interest rate increases, citing a “sharper-than-expected slowdown” in global economic growth as well as uncertainty about continuing trade tensions, according to minutes of that meeting released Wednesday." -- Good grief! "The Fed" should be issuing APOLOGIES for the 4 rate increase they made last year without any indication of inflation worries! Trump's worst mistake in office was appointing Jerome Powell as the "Chair" of the "FED". Powell was an Obama appointment, and proved his Obama allegiance by raising rates for political vs economic reasons.

From the "help make it great again" department - Online headline/story: "Teen in viral video sues Washington Post for $250 million * The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Kentucky by Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann, 16, seeks $250 million in damages - saying that was the amount Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.com and the world's richest person, paid for the Post in 2013. * "The Post wrongfully targeted and bullied Nicholas because he was the white, Catholic student wearing a red 'Make America Great Again' souvenir cap on a school field trip to the Jan. 18 March for Life in Washington, D.C.," the lawsuit claims." -- Let's pray that a jury will award Sandmann the Washington Post in lieu of the actual cash.. Bezos has more than enough cash to "afford" any other jury award, but taking the WaPo away from him could Make the WaPo Great Again!

It's not going to get passed, but the Democrats want to make Election Day a National Holiday.. I tell you what, on the surface, it's a bad idea, but I could live with it if one addendum was included.. that the 2 to 3 week "early voting period" were eliminated.

From the "Forrest Gump "Stupid is as Stupid does" department - Online headline: "Ocasio-Cortez fires back at critics of her opposition to Amazon deal" -- 'nuff said...

We're doomed! That's all I can surmise when a Fox NH political reporter declared what the Socialist/Communist mantra Bernie talked about 4 years ago is now mainstream conversation.

---
Did I tell you hat I love "lists"? Here's another from 24/7 Wall Street... it's about the percentage of "homeless" which have no "shelter". Of course, California is the worst, followed by "the usual suspects".. uber-liberal states of Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, and Washington.

Two anomalies caught my eye..

New York was rated number 48 out of 50.. with "only 4.7% of it's homeless without shelter though NY is number worst in regards to the number of homeless altogether. (is there anyone left now that doesn't understand why NY's taxes on the homeowners is so high?)
Now, let's look at GA and Columbus, GA:

12. Georgia
> Homeless individuals w/o shelter: 37.9% (total: 3,599)
> Overall homelessness: 9,499 (9 in every 10,000 people — 19th lowest)
> Change in overall homelessness 2017-2018: -6.6%
> Change in overall homelessness 2008-2018: -50.3%
> Poverty rate: 14.9% (11th highest)

Once again, Columbus area weighs heavy on GA's image.. In the recent "poll", the overall number has "dropped" to 273 according to the United Way figures. Combining Phenix City's 36,000 population with Columbus' 194,000 shows that we're dealing with a 230,000 number so we have about 12 homeless persons per 10,000 in population. Of real interest is that the Tom-LYING-son "Homeless in 10 Years" initiative is now at the beginning of it 9th year, and "ZERO" ain't gonna happen. Wanna bet whether Tom-LYING-son has posted this on her political website?

Bernie's back! Officially, he's a candidate for the Democrat nomination in 2020. Interestingly, most of the earlier entrants are basically adopting his platform in 2016 in which Hellary beat Bernie...of course, some will claim it was rigged, but still, Bernie lost to Hellary who lost big time to Trump..Why do the Democrats feel a candidate adopting Bernie's platform..even Bernie... will fare any better than Hellary did against Trump?

---
Have you noticed how MSM-13 reports about Trump seem to be based on unnamed intelligence officials, but you should also notice they DO NOT ever claim info comes from unnamed INTELLIGENT officials.

---
Did not show a new Veterans Parkway "eyesore" this week as I want to revisit an earlier one on the 2500 block area.. It's the dilapidated trailer being used by someone as a residence... my first picture showed a dog on the front porch...now, who ever is residing there appears to have obtained a car as well.

Anybody seen a follow up concerning Apple providing the government with info on Roger Stone's iPhone after Apple fought hard against giving the same info on the San Bernadino, CA terrorists' iPhones? Just proves liberals are Machiavellian... the end result justifies the means..

---
Looks like the Democrat response to the costs of the Green New Deal will be, "We shouldn't care so why are you asking?". Can you imagine you realtor or car salesman sloughing off your question as to how much does it cost?

Ilhan Omar,D-MN, must be proud of herself..Farrakhan feels she is spot on in her rants.

I was watching a news report showing the vast horde of homeless people living in tents and make-do huts lining thruways and neighborhoods in LA.. and suddenly I remembered the mid-60s hit song of the Mamas and Papas..."California Dreamin' ":

I'd be safe and warm
(I'd be safe and warm)
If I was in L.A
(If I was in L.A.)
California dreamin'
(California dreamin') on such a winter's day"

Hmmmm... wonder if any new age lawyers have thought about suing the estates of the Mamas and Papas or false advertising?

---
Online headline: "Democrats Pass Bill to Fund College for Illegal Immigrants with Taxpayer Money Democratic New York Lawmakers approve measure to give free education for 'dreamers' -- Wow! What a perfect opportunity for California to ease three problems.. revenue shortages, homelessness and overstuffed classrooms.. California can simply give illegals one-way bus tickets to New York City!

Once in a while, things stop me in my tracks.. while in Publix yesterday, such an occasion hit me.. This.. is not just the worst product idea I've seen this year.. it may be the worst product idea of all time... correct me if you know of another.

I will never even look at Original Oreos in the same way...

Online headline/story: "STACEY ABRAMS CLAIMS VOTER SUPPRESSION IS LEGAL IN THE US * “Here’s the thing about voter suppression: Voter suppression is legal in the United States right now,” Abrams said Friday to a crowd of Democrats in Washington, D.C. * “What we do know is that in the state of Georgia, four black men and women stood in line for four hours to cast a vote. That’s a poll tax,” she said, referencing a long-outlawed practice some U.S. jurisdictions used to keep poor and minority citizens from voting. “When you have to sacrifice four hours of work on the off-chance that you make it through and get to cast a ballot, that’s a poll tax.”" -- Good grief.. and most delays at GA polls were caused by registration issues related to Abrams' "New Georgia Project" , but the reality is that the only "poll tax" involved was on the time of the poll workers trying to help legitimate voters to vote in spite of the Abrams' created registration issues!
---
Why is I-14 a Georgia issue? A more affordable and faster plan would be to finish what's already started... connect I-16 from Savannah to Macon on to Columbus, then over to Auburn/Opelika, AL to connect with I-85, then over to Meridian, MS and connect with I-20.

From the "it's not one world...Build the Wall.. NOW" department - Online headline/story: "Mexican businesswoman decapitated after ‘family wouldn’t pay’ ransom, reports say * A Mexican businesswoman’s decapitated body was discovered with a note that reportedly said she was killed because her husband “didn’t want to pay” a ransom. * The body of Susana Carrera was found last Wednesday inside a bag in a parking lot in the coastal city of Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz. She had been kidnapped a week earlier outside a friend’s house where she had gone to pick up one of her children." -- You know.. this is "OK" with Democrats... with no border wall, these people can traverse our borders at will and find many more kidnap victims...
---
From the "too many questions not answered" department - Online headline/story: "Grand Canyon tourists exposed to radiation inside building for nearly two decades, safety manager claims * Three paint buckets filled with uranium sat in the Grand Canyon Museum Collection building for nearly two decades while tourists were unaware they were being exposed to radiation, a safety manager at the National Park has claimed. * The containers were removed from the site last year, but not brought to the public’s attention until this month, after Elston Stephenson, the park’s safety, health, and wellness manager, alerted his colleagues via email that nothing was done to warn employees or the public. * “If you were in the Museum Collections Building (2C) between the year 2000 and June 18, 2018, you were ‘exposed’ to uranium by OSHA’s definition,” Stephenson’s email read. * Stephenson said the buckets were placed in an area where tours averaged 30 minutes and close exposure could have exposed adults to 400 times the health limit, and children 4,000 times." -- Hmmm ... lets see.. 3 paint cans were of uranium ore were placed in a Grand Canyon Museum Building while Clinton was in office and weren't removed until right before Hellary lost in 2016.. Questions: Uranium ore stored in paint cans? Uranium ore stored i a National Park building? The only reasonable answer is that the Clintons and the Russians were into uranium negotiations long before Hellary was Secretary of State and 'sealed the deal' to sell Russia over 20% of the US's supply, and the ore in the paint cans were a sample some Russian agent could "test" to make sure the Clintons "had the goods".

From the "lies. lies. and more lies" department - M/C L-E headline/story: "I owe how much? Americans shocked by impact of tax law * take Andy Kraft and Amy Elias of Portland, Oregon. The couple had grown comfortable getting a small refund each year, a few hundred dollars or more. Then they found out they owe $10,160 this year. * In addition, the law also eliminated personal exemptions," -- What! "eliminated personal exemptions"? While single taxpayers were only eligible for a $6,350 standard deduction last year, that amount nearly doubled in the 2018 tax year to $12,000 for individuals. Married couples will get a standard deduction of $24,000 for 2018, up from $13,000 for 2017. And head of household filers will see a bump in their standard deduction from $9,550 to $18,000 for 2018.

From the "Bias? What bias?" department - Online headline/story: "States sue Trump in showdown over border wall funds * A coalition of 16 U.S. states led by California sued President Donald Trump's administration on Monday over his decision to declare a national emergency to obtain funds for building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. - Hmmm... So, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, ME, MD, MI, MN, NV, NJ, NM, NY, OR, AND VA have nothing else to do but complain about Trump... what's new? all 16 of those states are traditionally Democrat havens (though MI voters did go for Trump, and 15 of those states have Democrat governors (and the sole Republican governor in MD is a RINO).. What the MSM-13 doesn't mention is 34 states agree with Trump that we need border security NOW!

From the "the times may be a'changin" department - Online headline: "Vans employee fired for allegedly cursing at MAGA hat-wearing teen" -- Good grief! Last year such an employee probably would have gotten a promotion and pay raise!

---
Setting the table: "Jussie Smollett said two white men wearing face masks and MAGA hats, cursed and slurred him and placed a rope around his neck and poured bleach on him. Police found videos and receipts showing to Nigerian brothers (one worked with Smollet) purchased such items at a Chicago Ace hardware store that same night:

From the "Fred Sanford.. I think it's the BIG one, Elizabeth: department - Online headline/story: "Al Sharpton says Jussie Smollett should ‘face accountability to the maximum’ if attack was orchestrated * "If it is found that Smollett and these gentlemen did, in some way, perpetrate something that is not true, they ought to face accountability to the maximum,” Sharpton said referring to the actor and two men linked to him who have been questioned by police. “Let us get to the bottom of it, and let justice be done, no matter who is right or wrong.” -- It's close, but Al Sharlatan still hasn't come full circle in making up for his many "rush to judgments" in the past.

Question: Why weren't there any Democrats on hand with President Trump in Miami showing support for the victims of Socialism in Venezuela?

---
You know, it seems sorta backwards that MSM-13 will applaud Trump for supporting Juan Guaido as president of Venezuela versus MSM-13 encouraging all of our Democratic Party Socialists to go to Columbia and convince the Venezuelan wannabee-refugees they should go back and learn to love Maduro.

---
The only thing for certain is KaeperPRICK exposed his journey was one of capital gain rather than one of principle. Settling for any amount.. whether the rumored $80 Million.. or whether $1.00, settling without a jury verdict proves this.

Trip down memory lane... was looking at our microwave oven the other day.. and suddenly had a flashback to our family's first one.. Remember when microwave ovens had an actual door locking mechanism you had to engage before it would operate?

---
From the "Elizabeth Barrett Browning, "how stupid is she.. let me count the way" department - Online headline: "Ocasio-Cortez raises eyebrows after comparing Trump's border wall to Berlin Wall" -- Good grief! The Berlin Wall was built to keep East Germans from leaving, our border security wall is to keep illegal entry of non-citizens/ criminals, and drugs.

You know, the only thing that happens when you raise the minimum wage is that you usually get the same level of minimum effort regardless of how much the minimum wage is.

---
From the "he's b-a-a-c-c-c-k-k-k-k" - department - Online headline: "Ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner Finishes Prison Term" -- and though "separated", Carlos Danger is still married to Huma Abedin, Hellary's "confidant".... Wow..as if the Democrats didn't have enough image issues to deal with.

---
Online headline/story: "Alabama-born ISIS wife who reportedly told Americans to kill themselves now begging to come home * Muthana now has an 18-month-old son from one of her ISIS marriages." -- Not just no.. HELL NO! This would open avenues for anchor baby and familial chain migration for enemies of our country!

---
Online commentary headline/story: "Black female senator: My arrest shows the bias that still exists in justice system * Nikema Williams, Opinion contributor * After last week's State of the Union address, I sat in a local union hall watching Stacey Abrams offer a call to action for our democracy — the kind that Georgia and our country desperately need. * "This is the next battle for our democracy," she said, "one where all eligible citizens can have their say about the vision we want for our country. We must reject the cynicism that says allowing every eligible vote to be cast and counted is a 'power grab.' -- "reject the cynicism that says allowing every eligible vote to be cast"? You know.. I honestly believe no eligible voter in GA believes another eligible voter in Georgia vote should not have his/her vote counted.. that said, every eligible voter in Georgia should WANT every vote to be cast by a proven citizen of GA.. and voter ID is the best way to do this.

Another jury fail - M/C L-E headline/story: "Jury finds half-brother not guilty * A Columbus jury found Roger T***** not guilty of murder Monday in the 2015 fatal shooting of his half-brother during a birthday party at T****s’ 435 Bernard Drive apartment. *
T***** also was acquitted of all other charges, including aggravated assault and using a firearm to commit a felony. * Defense attorney S***** J****** said he felt the verdict validated a “textbook case for self defense,” -- Once again, common sense loses.. there should be no self defense claims when guns, alcohol and illegal drugs are knowingly present... the law has already been broken.

M/C L-E headline/story: "Georgia high court: DUI test refusal can’t be used in court * A driver’s refusal to submit to a breath test cannot be used as evidence in a criminal trial for driving under the influence, Georgia’s Supreme Court ruled Monday, throwing out that part of the state’s DUI laws as unconstitutional. * The high court unanimously agreed the provision violated the Georgia Constitution’s protection against self-incrimination. * This Court cannot change the Georgia Constitution, even if we believe there may be good policy reasons for doing so; only the General Assembly and the people of Georgia may do that. And this Court cannot rewrite statutes,” Peterson wrote in the opinion. * In a concurring opinion, Justice Michael P. Boggs noted the scope of the ruling was limited to circumstances involving a criminal proceeding. He wrote that a driver’s refusal to take a breath test still could be used in an administrative proceeding for a driver’s license suspension." -- Good grief! Our GA Supreme Court has just altered the status provided by the issuance of a driver's license.. now it's also a permit to kill! Getting a driver's license is not a "right".. it's an earned privilege and carries stated and implied conditions.. The GA Supreme Court just may have established precedence that the state cannot require testing in order to get a driver's license as physical conditions of the applicant could be compromised at the moment of testing!

How come Columbus Council Agenda wasn't published in the L-E this week? Surely Council and the L-E feel that public awareness should be of concern...

From the "this is news?" department - Online headline: "Ex-FBI official: 'Crime may have been committed' by Trump" -- "may have been committed"? Good grief.. we pretty much KNOW that McCabe has committed many crimes as well as covered up many more for others. Why isn't MSM-13 reporting THAT as news?

---
From the "cheapskate talk" department -- HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Stephen King offers $10,000 for a Trump border wall debate * Horror writer Stephen King would so relish watching President Donald Trump debate his border wall with another critically acclaimed author that King offered in a tweet Saturday to pay $10,000 to see it happen. * King was responding to a tweet by Don Winslow, author of a new book coming out later this month called The Border. " -- Good grief.. besides pitting a fiction author against real life situation of facts accumulated by US Border Agents, Stephen King is an uncommitted cheapskate! For $10,000.00 in 'walking around pocket change', King must have a stake in either the book or publisher and is simply trying to influence more book sales.

Well...I've ..and I know you have too, come to expect Democrats' disrespect for Trump as Commander in Chief, but it's little harder to accept the same disrespect from Republicans. The latest spending bill was approved with the expectation Trump might not sign it, and there'd be another shut down...but Trump won..he got PeLOUSY off her game, and money to spend on border security this summer while he's getting court support for his presidential powers to protect all America's citizens.

---
I've also come to realize that the Democrats play a mean game with words... especially homonyms... while I hear concerned politicians ask patriots to pray with them, I hear Democrats as their voter base to "prey" with them.

---
Just heard that only 40% of American citizens pass the Citizenship test given to new citizens. What a condemnation of our education system!

---
You know.. one of the saddest moments in life is to hear someone killed another.. especially a child... while cleaning a gun..I hate to tell you, but pulling a trigger is not a step in cleaning a gun.. the first thing you do cleaning a revolver is safely remove the shells, or in the case of semi-automatics is remove the magazine then eject the loaded shell (or shells in case of shotguns)

---
From the "sometimes, headlines are a three words too long" department - M/C L-E headline: "Rep. Omar says she’s sorry for causing hurt" -- Yep.. this apology is one of those "3 words too long", that is.. Rep Omar would have covered it all with "Rep Omar says she's sorry".

---
Good news! the Miss Georgia Pageant will stay in Columbus for its 75th version.. Let's start praying for the 76th!

Online headline: "Chicago police want to talk to Jussie Smollett as new evidence emerges. Hmmm... Jussie Smollett may have just become a "juicy mullet"!

---
From the "absolute BS!" department - Online headline/story: "Peanuts, Cracker Jack won’t be sold at Connecticut Double-A baseball stadium, club says * The Hartford Yard Goats announced on their website earlier this month that Dunkin’ Donuts Park would become “peanut-free” – cutting ties with two baseball mainstays: shelled peanuts and Cracker Jack – in order to accommodate visitors with allergies. -- Like I indicated above.. just absolute BS! It's all about the money! Popcorn and soft drinks are huge concession money makers as their costs are negligible in ratio to their retail sales, and high cost peanuts/crackerjacks compete with popcorn. Popcorn RULES!

---
Online headline/story: "Rep. Adam Schi** shouldn’t investigate Trump – Dem should answer questions about his own conduct * House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schi**, D-Calif., who is planning unmerited and aggressive partisan investigations of President Trump, has plenty of questions he should be answering about his own activities. * McCarthy wants more information on Schi**’s interactions with Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS. That firm was hired by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign to conduct opposition research and dig up dirt to use against then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump." -- You know,, when an investigator goes after his prey, eyes eventually turn on the investigator. It's hard to shovel/sling "schi**" without it covering the shoveler/slinger.

---
Jussie Smollett...all of a sudden , the possible..the alleged..assailants are not white, and the demographics of Nigeria means they are probably Muslim, and I thought non-whites and Muslims were exempt from being charged with hate crimes or being castigated for racial/homophobic slurs, and there's still no video showing an actual assault, and Smollett redacted his phone records so the police cannot confirm a purported ongoing call with his agent at the time. Like I said, when an apology for questioning his recollection is necessary, I will be prompt and sincere.. Now, if it was as Smollett first mentioned, why hasn't Al Sharlatan been out leading the publicity campaign?

Where is the Columbus High baseball team practicing and planning on playing its home games?

---
Schumer says he's upset that Trump has "raided" the Pentagon budget to build border security walls. Tell you what, I was a lot more incensed when Clinton and Obama raided their Pentagon budgets that weakened our military readiness in order to fund their social agenda programs. Besides, our military budget should be used for security walls when it will reduce the number of law enforcement personnel needed to protect our country and its legal citizens.

---
Since MSM-13 seems so obsessed with Trump's weight and so eager to post it publicly. I do believe precedence has been set. When do we see the weights of every presidential candidate who's already announced their intentions?....and I think MSM-13 OWES us a history of Hellary's weight...

---
Saw an interesting.. thought provoking headline on AOL Saturday: "Barack Obama's net worth is nothing compared to other past presidents". I looked at it,,, digested it, then thought... you know, this is a pretty honest assessment.. as far as president go, Obama was pretty much 'nothing" compared to other past presidents...

---
Seriously, has anyone gotten Ocasio-Cortez to tell us how a solar powered system will heat a family's home during a Polar Vortex event that brings sub-zero temperatures?

---
From the "let's take a new look at this" department - Online headline/story: "Ocasio-Cortez’s boyfriend granted House email account * (Riley) Roberts has been granted a government “house.gov” email address so he can access Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional calendar, the 29-year-old congresswoman confirmed Friday. * Spouses of members of Congress are afforded privileges, such as a House email address, a congressional pin to bypass security and a House license plate to enter Capitol grounds and enjoy parking privileges, House aides say. * While he’s not officially a spouse, Roberts can have access to House email for calendar purposes, according to the office of the Chief Administrative Officer of the House." -- There is no need.. no warranting... of a "boyfriend" having access to the Congressional e-mail system. If Ocasio-Cortez.. or any Congressperson wants any outsider to have access her calendar, she can print it out for them and hand-deliver it. What's scarier is the "spousal" pin and license plate that allows access to the Capitol g]rounds and parking areas. This could possibly cause situations of endangerment to other Congresspersons or other government officials .

---
There appears to be an obvious pattern developing between President Trump and the Democrats.. Trump has goals for developing growth for a better America, and Democrats basically only have an agenda of obstructionism.

OK.. if you are a liberal, name me something PeLOUSY or Schumer want other than to "stop Trump"...

---
I'm curious..does anyone know if any other country other than the US that catches a non-citizen who has either overstayed their Visa or simply entered illegally and let's them stay, much less just releases them to await a judicial process?

---
Taking another look at the spending items PeLOUSY included or didn't include in the bill just signed, you have to understand that GA is not important to her until the 2020. She feels that by not allocating money for Hurricane Michael repairs, GA will blame Trump. Not her. She's wrong!

---
Have you noticed that Democrats like to use the tearing down of the Berlin Wall as a talking point against building the Wall at our Southern Border? Well, what the left doesn't mention is that the Berlin Wall was built to "fence in" it citizens, and our Southern Border Wall will be to "fence out" non-citizens.

---
Online story: "Charlie Munger, Warren Buffett's right-hand man at Berkshire Hathaway, said that places like California and Connecticut have been very "stupid" for driving rich people away from their states. * "It's been serious. Driving the rich people out is pretty dumb if you're a state or a city," Munger told CNBC's Becky Quick in an interview Thursday. "There are a number of places that have shot themselves in the foot; Connecticut, California, New York City." * Munger was answering a broader question, in the wake of Amazon ditching its New York City headquarters plans, about whether some cities and states need to make their tax structures and regulations more attractive to wealthy individuals and businesses." -- If there's one good thing that will come out of this, it will be that Warren Buffett will reassess his devotion to Democrats, and notice that his Berkshire-Hathaway shares have gone from $214,000.00 per share on Election day 2016 to over $308,000 per share this past Friday.

---
Online headline: "Justice Ginsburg makes first visit to Supreme Court since lung cancer surgery" -- This does raise the question again about how she was allowed to vote on issues the other judges heard in person.. absentee voting issues are an issue being addressed in General Elections as we speak, so technically, we don't even know whether any materials she read to get herself abreast of the issues hadn't been edited.altered, nor do we know if her actual vote was her own.

---
Have you looked at the growth of the Electoral College votes in California? From 1952 to 1988, Republicans won every Presidential Election except the 1964 one, but in the 1990 Census, California's population grew so much that in the 1992 Election, California's Electoral College grew by 7 votes (from 47 in 1988 to 55 in 1992)m and grew even another one in the 2000 Census. Nothing explains this phenomena other than the influx of non-citizens entering into California Also, since that influx started happening, California has switched from Republican to Democrat This alone dictates that the 2020 and all future Censuses require all persons to provide a path to prove they are US citizens so the interests of US citizens will be the forefront interest of Congress.

---
Did you know that since 1989, California's population "growth" has zoomed from 29 Million to 39 Million people? Did you know that the Los Angeles County area now has over 18 MILLION people? I use the word "people" because we cannot know how many are citizens or non-citizens. What this means is that the Los Angeles County area influences the assignment of more Congressional Representatives than 46 of the other states. Our Census must be calibrated so that only American citizens count in "the count"!

---
As long as Trump has the power to declare Congressional inaction a National Security issue, he should use that power to fire all the Democrats who failed to stand and applaud the 10 year old cancer survivor who raised $40,000.00 when Trump introduced her at the SOTU!

M/C L-E headline: "City truck driver charged in fatal crash on River Road, police say" -- Well, a few more were revealed,...and I can see that if a silver model car was traveling on the road that time of day and wasn't using his headlights, it might be difficult to "see" the car, but... but there's nothing that reveals why a City debris truck was exiting a business property. Do our City trucks service every business's debris or was this an exception?

M/C L-E guest commentary headline/content: "Our national emergency is Trump himself *
BY EUGENE ROBINSON * Washington Post Writers Group * We have a national emergency, all right. Its name is Donald Trump, and it is a force of mindless, pointless disruption." -- Hmm. so if lower taxes, higher wages, lower unemployment, safer borders, and a soaring economy are "mindless, pointless disruptions" to the left, I see a Trump landslide in 2020.

---
M/C L-E guest commentary headline: "COMMENTARY * Naming and shaming firms that do business with the NRA is inane and dangerous * Los Angeles Times" -- Amazing.. the L.A. Council requiring vendors to reveal any connection they have with the NRA bothers the L.A. Times, but the growth of illegal aliens and crime in Los Angeles County doesn't.. Hey, L.A. Times.. you have a lot bigger issues to deal with than who supports the NRA..

From the "it really wasn't all about 'injustices' was it?" department - M/C L-E headline: "Kaepernick and Reid settle collusion lawsuits with NFL" -- When your principles can be be bought. it really wasn't about your principles....

From the "some things just aren't going to change" department - M/C L-E story: "(President George) Washington wrote, “It would seem from the public Gazettes that the Minority in your State are preparing for another attack of the – now – adopted Government; how formidable it may be; I know not. But that Providence which has hitherto smiled on the honest endeavors of the well meaning part of the People of this Country will not, I trust, withdraw its support from them at this crisis.” -- Seems Trump is battling the same political minorities in the 21st Century as Washington did in the 18th Century.. I'm proud Trump walks in the footsteps of President WASHINGTON!

HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "11-year-old arrested after refusing to stand for pledge * An 11-year-old boy was arrested following a confrontation at school over his refusal to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, which he reportedly called racist against black people. * The Florida boy was charged with disrupting a school function and resisting arrest without violence on Feb. 4 after allegedly threatening his substitute teacher at Lawton Chiles Middle Academy in Lakeland following an argument * “The student became disruptive and the teacher contacted school administrators for assistance,” Kyle Kennedy, a spokesman for Polk County Public Schools, told the news outlet. * Kennedy added that students are not required to stand for the pledge, which he said the teacher was apparently not aware of. She will no longer be employed at any of Polk County’s schools, he said." -- Two things... well actually 3 things hit me... first, how venomous the 11 year old was.. and what he learns at home.. secondly, the substitute teacher not being informed of school policy was the fault of the school system, not the teacher, yet the teacher is paying for it, and thirdly.. isn't Polk County in Florida where our Superintendent can[]me from?

Online headline/story: "CNN and MSNBC to air anti-Nazi ad Fox News rejected * CNN and MSNBC will both air a commercial for an Oscar-nominated short film about American Nazis that Fox News had rejected, according to the filmmakers. * Fox News said said the “ad in question is full of disgraceful Nazi imagery regardless of the film’s message and did not meet our guidelines.” * the movie’s director, Marshall Curry, told The Washington Post. “It says something that some news channels trust their audience to interpret American history while Fox distrusts its audience and doesn’t think it can do that.” * Curry told the Washington Post. “Anyone who’s fair-minded would see there’s nothing offensive about it,” he added." -- How appropriate.. the channels who bring libs "fake news" are lining up to bring libs "fake ad views".. Under no circumstances should a "fair-minded" person ever consider Nazism not offensive! Of course, what's fair-minded about the Democrat point of view that the Klan and black-face racism are "fair" as long as they are Democrats.. guess Nazism fits right in..

M/C L-E headline/story: "Georgia bill would allow medical pot production * state Rep. Micah Gravely says it’s time to give patients easier access to a liquid made from cannabis by licensing cultivation and manufacture in Georgia. * “Members of my own family have been patients and have used medical cannabis oil, I have personally seen the benefits to both young and old members of my family,” said Gravley, R-Douglasville * Gravely’s bill would set up three tiers of medical cannabis-related business licenses * I wouldn’t be standing here today if there were any doubt in my mind,” Gravley said, * Gravely said he has heard the argument for years, at each step in expanding Georgia’s medical cannabis law to more patients, that the next step would be recreational marijuana. * It simply did not happen,” Gravley said. * The next step for the bill is for Gravley to see if he can get a House committee hearing." -- Wow.. what an impression "Gravely/Gravley" made with the reporter. Counting a picture caption. Representative Gravley's name was spelled right 4 times and wrongly 4 times. Guess the reporter was so eager to get this story out reflecting her own views that she didn't bother to respect her source enough to bother to check the spelling of his name.

I'm sorry to see the plight of the USS Water Witch but am more shocked that such a structure cost $8,000,000.00 to acquire.. especially after learning that it wasn't constructed to withstand outdoor weather exposure. This was an expensive lesson to learn.... POOF! $8,000,000.00 ... plus maintenance, cleanup/disposal, and replacement display .

From the "think about this" department - M/C L-E story: "Ruth E. Carter is a black woman blazing a trail as a costume designer in a film industry with not many who look like her." -- What disrespect for Ruth E. Carter! Before the writer gets to what's important, the "journalist" feels we have to be told a person named Ruth is a woman, and that's she's black, while it's her work that's important about her life. Shame on liberals for feeling gender and color are more important to focus on than skills!
