From the "doesn't look like my apology will be needed" department - Online story: "CHICAGO — "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett was charged Wednesday with making a false police report when he said he was attacked in downtown Chicago by two men who hurled racist and anti-gay slurs and looped a rope around his neck, police said. * Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said prosecutors charged Smollett with felony disorderly conduct, an offense that could bring one to three years in prison and force the actor to pay for the cost of the investigation into his report of a Jan. 29 beating." -- Hey, KaeperPRICK.. you can get off your knee now.. justice has been started!

Yesterday was THE game of 2019 to watch... UNC vs Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium... College BB can't get any better than this in 2019. The game was a Carolina 88-72 rout but it wasn't the only "blow out" in Cameron last night.. While Zion Williamson should recover from his injury, Nike got it's comeuppance.. Williamson's left Nike shoe had a blow out 33 seconds into the game.. neither Williamson ... nor his right Nike shoe made it back into the game. Hey, Nike, I do believe Williamson's "knee" is more important than KaeprPRICK's.

Liberal spinmeisters are out trying to cast doubt on Nick Sandmann's case against the WaPo based on ' absence of malice'.. There was malice..it occurred as soon as the WaPo continued the lie after the complete videos revealed the truth of what happened TO Nick Sandmann.

So the Alabama girl who fled the US to join ISIS and encouraged the killing of American soldiers wants to come back. She even says she's "sorry and is willing to "face the consequences". Well..little girl. ..you ARE facing the consequences ...she created her own consequences.

The NYTimes was built on a reputation of "all the news that's FIT to print"... the NYTimes is now decaying on "all the news that's S*** to print".

From the "Yes Virginia, there is a pause" department - Online story: "The editor-in-chief of USA Today apologized Wednesday after the Arizona newspaper she used to manage uncovered her past role in publishing a college yearbook that included a photo of people in blackface. * The photo in question was published in the 1988-89 Arizona State University yearbook, of which Nicole Carroll was an editor. It shows two people at a Halloween party dressed in makeup as Mike Tyson and his then-wife Robin Givens, according to USA Today, based in McLean, Va." -- Yes Virginia, their is a pause.. but the Smollett scam has about run it's course, and now the world is looking back at Virginia.. again.. and the Democrat Party still has a "black-eye". What's most ironic about this latest incident is that Mike Tyson is a Trump fan and probably wasn't offended .. then nor now..

Hey Columbus Council...have you come to your senses about stopping any hope of people who want to build 'tiny houses' in the Historic District? While I'm checking on past 'stuff'...have you shaken sanity back into the GA DOT for spending $200,000.00 on an investigation as to why traffic backs up on the JR Allen Parkway because of piss-poor design and execution on the Alabama side terminal point?

From a BCer..  From the "a picture speaks 10,000 words" department:

---------------------------------------
WTVM-9 headline/story: "Community votes 18-1 to move Columbus Government Center in final public meeting * COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - In the final meeting to get the public’s take on what should happen to the Columbus Government Center, there is an almost unanimous vote to move the building and judicial center to a new location." -- No names! Looks like Mayor Skippy is gonna carry out Tom-LYING-son plan... What's sad is that our Council will let the an affirmation vote of 19 unnamed people with an agenda justify the decision they wanted to make anyway. Moving the last of Government services out of the downtown scene will kill the revitalization effort.

There's a "fake news" story out about CNN hiring Jussie Smollett as an investigative reporter... It's by the Babylon Bee... though it's easy to believe as it fits in with what CNN has perpetrated.. "fake news". CNN should reflect on why this story is so EASY to believe..

From the "whatta bunch of BS!" department - Online headline/story: "Google claims built-in Nest mic was ‘never intended to be a secret’ * Google has admitted it made an error when it didn’t disclose that its Nest Secure home security system included an on-device microphone. In a statement given to Business Insider, a spokesperson from the company said, “The on-device microphone was never intended to be a secret and should have been listed in the tech specs. That was an error on our part.” -- "error"? Error my arse! I'm gonna bet Google had the P&L figures on what a secret microphone would bring them long before it built those mics into the apparatus.

Online headline/story: "‘The whole community is terrified’: Hundreds rally against increased ICE presence in NC * A crowd of several hundred took to the streets Monday to protest increased immigration enforcement in North Carolina — and the paralyzing fear they said it had instilled in Charlotte’s immigrant communities. * After Sheriff Garry McFadden reversed a policy that notifies ICE about the legal status of inmates in county jails, the federal agency said it had no choice but to increase enforcement activity in Mecklenburg County. Two weeks ago, ICE officers arrested over 200 immigrants living here illegally in a four-day span, as part of an enforcement operation they called a “new normal.” * “Every day we leave our houses to go work for our families, and this is how they repay us: Sending ICE to our houses, to our streets, to the places we go eat,” Barrios told the crowd in Spanish. “It doesn’t matter where we go. They’re there.”" -- "this is how they repay us"? Good grief! Only in liberal conclaves can illegals gather and complain about being treated as illegals!

AJC Opinion commentary headline/content: "Opinion: UGA teaching assistant shouldn’t pay for pointing out racism * An African-American teaching assistant at the University of Georgia continues to face a backlash for his social media posts about "fighting" white people. * Among the statements by philosophy doctoral student Irami Osei-Frimpong that led some UGA graduates to threaten to withhold donations: "...some white people may have to die for black communities to be made whole in this struggle to advance to freedom." " -- You know I agree.. no one should be punished for discussing racism in a teaching moment, but doing so in lecture form is a different story.. delivery of an opinion that excludes open .. and civil.. discussion is about as racist as anyone can get.

---
Another AJC commentary piece: "Newly announced Democratic presidential candidate and blizzard survivor Amy Klobuchar, the U.S. senator from Minnesota, has a fundraiser in Atlanta on Friday at the home of Gordon Giffin, the former U.S. ambassador to Canada. *
Many supporters of Stacey Abrams are expressing private displeasure." -- Good grief.. Abrams got the lion's share of her funding from out-of-state sources, so .. who would she have actually represented had she won?

---
Online headline/story: "Georgia elections officials still don’t know when 2020 primary will be held * it's presumed that Georgia will hold the 2020 primary on March 3, joining California, Texas, Massachusetts and a bloc of southern states that has already picked that date." -- You know.. maybe Congress should enact a law requiring state NOT to have primaries before 60 days from the Parties' respective National Conventions dates. This would enable voters a longer look-see at their Party's candidates..

---
AJC "headlie"/story: "In HB 316, House GOP leaders concede that Stacey Abrams had a point * Republicans in the state Capitol consider House Bill 316, which would authorize the purchase of a new $150 million touchscreen voting system, to be a very important piece of legislation." -- WRONG AJC! HB316 would protect our state from Stacey Abrams' "point"..

From the "Columbus Democrats should have thought about this more" department - M/C L-E headline: "Softball complex, museum want state cash to boost tourism" -- Good grief.. Columbus' Democrat controlled atmosphere grovels too much.. It spends it's efforts on undermining potential growth in Columbus by isolating the City from the governing party. Why does the local Democrat legislative group feel that GA should reward Columbus when Columbus votes 60% against Republican leadership, and even provides a Columbus woman who's husband is the City Manager to be the Democrat Party's " "minority whip"?

---
M/C L-E headline: "Domestic dispute leaves 55-year-old man dead on Tip Top Drive, coroner says" -- Hmmm.. in simple language... NUMBER 6! Now, since obviously there is still a local reporter who lives in the area, how about the M/C L-E sending him out on a follow-up story about Alstin Martin who was shot along death Number 5...

---
M/C L-E story: "The Federal Reserve provided more clarity about what prompted officials in January to suddenly pause the Fed’s steady campaign of interest rate increases, citing a “sharper-than-expected slowdown” in global economic growth as well as uncertainty about continuing trade tensions, according to minutes of that meeting released Wednesday." -- Good grief! "The Fed" should be issuing APOLOGIES for the 4 rate increase they made last year without any indication of inflation worries! Trump's worst mistake in office was appointing Jerome Powell as the "Chair" of the "FED". Powell was an Obama appointment, and proved his Obama allegiance by raising rates for political vs economic reasons.
