I have great admiration for the YMCA. WE have a membership here, and my family has over a century's worth of service within the Columbus Y's history. On Tuesday of this week, I went to the RiverWalk to celebrate my granddaughter's first venture with her birthday bicycle, and came across this "ad" sprayed/screened onto the RiverWalk.. It's inappropriate.. it's literally turned what should be a public venue into a "billboard".. I do not "blame" the "Y".. this is something Council needs to be called out on as somebody else had to solicit/authorize this.

I do love "lists" that show up on news feeds on the Internet.. here's another one.. and it's not one I particularly like..It's of the 50 Safest Cities in Georgia..Columbus not make it.. and judging from the stats of the cities that did, Columbus was not even close.. for that matter, neither were Macon or Albany..
