Online story: "Attorney General William Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if intelligence collection involving the Trump campaign was "lawful and appropriate," a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Monday. * Barr appointed John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry," -- Hmmm.. aside from pointing any investigative attorney out of a New England state who has zero Republicans representing anybody in Connecticut, I do believe he should have appointed Robert Mueller to investigate the FISA warrants and Steele connections with Hellary. That way, Mueller could give the Democrats .. sorta a redemption...exactly what they were clamoring for... chargeable offenses with merits for convictions!

Online headline: "Winterlike weather pattern tightens grip on Northeast, unloading snow in some areas" -- Now.. before any whacko leftists start clamoring that it's "climate change", I remember May 15, of 1972 when I awoke that Monday morning in New York City to SNOW!I left Columbus, GA on Mother's Day wearing a short sleeve sport shirt. It was a "buying trip" for our store. None of us had packed for the weather we woke up to on the 15th.. Now if there is any claim to "climate change" in Maryland, it was the day that Arthur Bremer tried to kill George Wallace. It was interesting because Wallace had left the Democrats to form the Dixiecrat Party... and , "NO", Bremer was not a Republican... he was also involved in a plot to assassinate Richard Nixon. BTW, Bremer was paroled in 2007.. there ought to be a law against paroles for presidential assassination attempts..Hmmm... betcha if an assassination attempt had been made.. even disrupted.. against Clinton or Obama, there would be such a law.

Hmm.. is Columbus (GA) Council still entertaining allowing $150,000.00 and up "tiny houses" to be built in the Historic District? Maybe Council should rethink... then permanently  "quash" that idea.. Amazon is selling a DYI 172 sq ft "tiny house" priced at $7,250.00 (including free shipping" that two people can erect in 8 hours.

From the "Good grief! Will someone please remove the Kool-Aid from the MSM-13's water bottles!" department - Online headline: "Dow drops 600 points after China says it will impose tariffs on U.S. goods" -- China has always imposed tariffs on American goods.. it's been China's way of discouraging the importation of American goods and promoting it's own economy! Trump's plan is to get China to end the disadvantage American manufacturers have.

Hey... amid all the uproar coming out of the Democratic Party right now, how come we haven't heard anything from Florida Congressperson Debbie Washerwoman Schultz? There was a time when her voice was heard on every issue.

Please pray for Cuzzin' Jimmy's broken hip recovery.. this has a chance versus his constant "broken lip" situations...

Did you see the report claiming GA is the State with the worst credibility for corruption... and New Jersey is the least corrupted? Who knew people actually have been influenced by "That's the Night the Lights Went out in Georgia? But you know what's really disappointing... that California .. with it's "Sanctuary" Laws .. and Cities... and 9th District Court of Appeals judges is rated 4th in the least corrupt list. You know what I'd like to see... a list of party affiliation/support of our 1,800 elected judges.. my bet is on MOST being Democrats..

I'm doubling down on my shock about Democratic Party Congresswoman Tlaib's comment about how she thought of the Holocaust having a "calming effect" for her.. The Democratic Party is defending her! The Democratic Party says it feels Trump should apologize for his condemnation of her "calmness". The Jewish community should be up in arms, not supporting the Democratic Party's anti-Semitic position.

President Trump is right...Big Pharma is a major reason healthcare costs are out of whack. I recently was prescribed a "blood thinner" for the first time, and it's not available in generic form..Mind you, this is a an every day maintenance med, not some short term "cure" med. It costs over $400.00 a month. Hmmm..just saw an ad for a lease on a luxury SUV for $379.00 a month... something is very wrong when a maintenance med costs more per month than a lease for a luxury car.

Did you see the proposed school day times the MCSD sent to the MCSB.. Thanks to Mike Edmondson for speaking up for children and parents alike when he said, "studies show earlier start times to the school day are detrimental to students. * “What we do needs to be research-based and not convenience-based,” he said." -- If you download the PDF file showing the proposed times, you'll see elementary students being scheduled for Bus pickup beginning at 6:00 AM and classes run from 7:45 - 2:45, and last bus drop offs at 3:50. Does anyone at the MCSD realize that this schedule has 6 and 7 year old 1st graders isolated form their homes and parent for up to 10 hours?.. And if these 6 & 7 year olds get even the minimum of 9 hours sleep recommended that there's only 5 other hours for family/play/meal/entertainment time?

Now MSM-13 is howling about China tariffs being a TAX!. Of course. MSM-13 was completely silent talking about any minimum wage being a TAX. Funny thing is that minimum wage hikes are unavoidable tax increases because they affect every cost related aspect to the bottom line, while tariffs are added on at the end of the pricing process so retailers can choose to buy the product .. or not.. based on price to value..oh..if the owner can't make a profit because of higher cost of labor, he can reduce costs by firing labor but if the vendor charges too much, the retailer just buys something else to sell.

M/C L-E headline: "Actor Bruce Willis is coming to town. What should he do while he’s here?" -- Hmmm What should Bruce Willis do while he's here.. I'm sure Bruce Willis can figure this out, but he'll probably spend entertainment time in Atlanta

---
Bleep Veep Biden was quick announcing that he ASKED Obama NOT to endorse him...yet. Hmm... maybe because Obama might say it's a "BFD", too'...but meaning a "Bonified F***ing Dunce".

From the "hey Columbus, GA Council, how much did you say replacing our Government Center will cost? department - Online headline/story: "Cobb County's Galleria 100 tower sells for $97 Million * Piedmont Office Realty Trust Inc., Atlanta’s sixth largest landlord with more than 2.2 million square feet in Atlanta, bought the tower." -- and it was developed in 1982.. so it's more than 10 year newer than our Government Center. Maybe our Council should seek some Atlanta businesses for construction bids.

---
M/C L-E story: "City Parks and Recreation Director Holli Browder has confirmed that the Psalmond Road and Shirley Winston pools will remain closed for the 2019 season, which starts May 25, because the council is not currently funding repairs necessary to reopen the pools." -- Wow.. we have a Natatorium "draining" cash out of the City coffers' but Council cannot... will not fix the draining of water from two very popular summer water facilities for two straight YEARS!. Make sure this makes it onto ex-Mayor Tom-LYING-son's web and Senate campaign sites! Oh! Also make sure it also shows up on the 2020 Council Post sites of those running for re-election!

---
Ooops.. the M/C L-E Fore closure pages just jumped from 6 to 7 pages.. I do believe that's a nearly a 17% jump.. and another "hole in the dam" we have too plug following ex-Mayor Tom-LYING-son's term s in office here in Columbus.
