You know, when someone becomes a "whistleblower", to me it means someone in a company/organization witnessed something that wasn't legal or above board, and courageously brought it to light by reporting it to a proper authority. I cannot equate someone outside this direct chain being classified as a "whistleblower".... nor being allowed to even file such a story. Such a person is more of a "rat", a "weasel"..who's lack of ethics is even worse than anything he/she reported as " unethical".

Then, why in the world do we need more parking garage at the Police Department.. our CPD is 20% understaffed in the patrol area already. Then there's the the "want" to resurface our streets.. that's what the City SHOULD be doing every year our of current tax revenues but would rather spend those dollars on bicycle lanes and roundabouts. Council's problem is not a shortage of revenues, it's lack of focus on spending our revenues WISELY and PRUDENTLY.

Now, I can support a three year $105 Million dollar SPLOST for a new government building on it's current location that begins only after the current 10 year T-SPLOST ends
