From the "last hurrah!" department - Online headline/story: "Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue removes Cuomo donation page * ActBlue is a non-profit fundraising organization that has raised billions for Democratic candidates and groups since 2004" -- Hmmm... You know.. my issues with this.. ActBlue... is not the candidates it supports, but with the fact that people can deduct donations to ActBlue which redirects those dollars to political candidates on the Democratic Party, yet I cannot deduct a donation I send directly to a candidate. The IRS needs to put a stop to this practice.. that or the US Supreme Court needs to do so...

With over half of those students riding the bus to school, Muscogee County School District Superintendent Dr. David Lewis encourages drivers to watch out for children as they get on and off school buses. * “Safety is paramount. I want you to think about every child you see as if it were your child or your grandchild because they belong to somebody,” said Dr. Lewis." -- Yes... safety is important.. very important.. but I'm not sure it's "paramount".... It's certainly no higher than the quality of the education level each child receives before graduating

The average rent for a person living in the area is $21,156 per year and the median per capita income is $45,000" -- Even sadder is the fact that 78-80% or more of the spending goes to program employees and not the people in actual need..
