Let's do adopt a country wide policy of "My Body, My Choice"... only make it all inclusive to each body...Seeing as heart beats in fetuses can be detected when they are as young as 3 weeks, and around 11 weeks, fetuses have defined fingers and toes, let's use 12 weeks as a number that denotes that fetuses become "bodies". Let's then use the 12 week time frame as the point that even the mother no longer can make abortion a choice for the BODY inside of her.

By an odd circumstance, I was driving on 10th Avenue near the Riverdale Cemetery here in Columbus, and was stunned at what I saw at the vacant Farmers Market property.. most of the glass in doors and windows had been broken/shot out, doors sprung open, glass and trash everywhere, and grass, weeds, and trees/shrubbery were jungle-like. What a blight I thought! The City needs to get after the property owners to clean his up.. what a sight for any of our visitors (especially business site locators) might get as their first... and probably LAST... impression of our City. I went home and looked up the owners so I could save Council from doing the same... and found that, basically.. the COUNCIL and MAYOR OWN IT! Are any of them of this.. and that they are responsible!

Those who have known me a long time know that while I am Pro-Life, I am not anti-abortion..and SCOTUS should be praised for countering the 1973 SCOTUS's grievous OVERREACH which took the individual states' Constitutionally provided power to make it's own laws governing itself. Abortion decisions need to be between a woman.. or a couple...and GOD.. as well as with a doctor. The federal government's involvement should be limited to making sure that a woman..couple.. making such a choice to have the option for a safe procedure rather than some "back alley" facility. I also think that each state, regardless of the strictness of their abortion laws, offer exceptions (if necessary) to protect the life of the mother, and options involving rape and/or incest if the crimes are reported or the violator confesses guilt.

A BAC (Blood Alcohol Count) of .082 means Pelosi had about 15 OUNCES of alcohol in him at least 2 hours AFTER his last drink...For ease of math calculation, let's assume he was drinking a top shelf 100-proof liquor which means the actual alcohol per ounce of liquor would be one-half ounce of alcohol. Paul Pelosi had consumed almost a QUART of liquor...before he got into his Porsche!.. of course, being married to Queen PeLOUSY, he probably felt he needed it to go home.

She has a specialty women's clothing shop on the 1100 block of 1st Avenue, and for the past 2+ weeks has had "wall-to-wall" movie production trailers parked in front of her business 24/7. Her regular customers have not been able to park in her proximity, nor have potentially new customers been able to see her business while driving near it.. The City received.. by movie production accounts.. "big bucks" to park there". Ironically, the City will soon be the business owner's "neighbor" since the City has bought the building next to her location.. I wonder if the City would have even considered.. much less ALLOWED.. a movie production company to seal off citizen access to City offices/services they needed to get to? This is her website:

Granted... that since since the "Committee to SAVE the Chattahoochee" diverted itself into the "Committee to PAVE the Chattahoochee", having a business to capitalize on it has been a physical/fiscal boost for Uptown, but has it been a Fiscal boost for all of Columbus? Such bi-state river based enterprises are exempt from collecting sales taxes, so Columbus just gets a negotiated 3.5% fee (*) from sales originating in Columbus (Phenix City gets the fee when the sale originates there), but yesterday, I noticed one of the Whitewater buses operating here was not only purchased outside the Columbus area, it's registered as a Commercial Bus in Tennessee, so even the original sales taxes were paid to Tennessee, not Columbus or Georgia, so neither our City nor state has benefited as this bus uses local and state maintained streets and highways.. Whitewater needs to be a better citizen!

(*) - 3.5% which is a deductible tax/business expense for Whitewater while all other Columbus businesses collect 9% in sales taxes directly from users who mostly cannot deduct such.

I ask local questions periodically..... usually asking for numerical info not readily reported by local media, and it's aimed at seeing if our Council/MCSB members know .. or will acknowledge..what's going on. Also, whether they are willing to share the knowledge with the citizens they purportedly represent. Some Council/SB members are open, but most aren't.. that's a shame.. every elected official should be knowledgeable of the information and willing to share such. One question is, "How many people were shot and not killed in Columbus, GA in 2021?" Another is "How many students are reading at the grade level the MCSD has them currently assigned?"

Tomorrow.. June 21st.. is the runoff election date here and throughout GA.. Columbus has two of significance.. A Council seat, and a Republican Primary runoff to see who challenges Sandford Bishop in Congressional District 2. I do not get to vote in either but I am interested in getting the best people to serve in our government. For Council Post 7, my choice is Joanne Cogle.... Now Congressional District 2 is where real interest needs to be focused.. Most of Muscogee County is now in District 2, and Congressman Bishop has "represented" District 2 for 30 years.. Let's talk about facts rather than his "Happy Gilmore sized checks" we see him photo-opting all-too-often.. There are 29 counties in District 2 and in a recent "expose' "" of the worst 50 GA counties in GA's economic condition, 16 of Bishop's counties were included in the 50.. Even worse was that 11 of the worst 20 were Bishop "represented" counties... and even worst than that is 5 of the WORST 10 county economic situations are Bishop Counties. How... WHY... does the media serving Columbus, Macon, and Albany basically ignore this fact? God says He has a plan to PROSPER us.. but District 2 certainly isn't as prosperous as any other District in GA... Let's pray Jeremy Hunt might be God's answer for District 2..

I was recently informed, and pleased to hear... that when Vivian Bishop, the Clerk of Municipal Court, retired after about 30 years, a routine forensic audit was done, and nothing was out of order.. Now, did the Municipal Court Clerk's Office have a different record's keeping system than the Superior Court's Clerk? I mention this because during the recent Demps' trial, it was noted that $5.5+ MILLION dollars seem to have "disappeared" without any records being kept/found.. You know.. this reminds me of the "estimated $2 MILLION" in dumping fees at the landfill that was discover a number of years back that were never tracked down.. You have to wonder why iron-clad record keeping procedures were not installed at that time in every fee collecting office in Columbus..

One fact the Democrats and MSM will never parse correctly is the popular vote difference between Biden and Trump in the 2020 election.. Their "summation" is always presented as "Biden got 7,000,000 more popular votes nationwide... but what neither organization tells us is that California counted over 5,000,000 more votes for Biden, and NY counted almost 2,000,000 more votes for him... so the other 48 states were pretty much even split between Biden and Trump... Also, neither the Dems or MSM will parse the effect of CA and NY on the Electoral College vote. CA had 55, and NY had 29 in 2020.. so of Biden's 306 Electoral Votes, CA and NY provided 84 such votes. If you reduced Biden's 503 by the 84 votes he got from JUST CA & NY, Biden got 219 and Trump got 232 from the other 48 states. One more thing Democrats and MSM won't bother to mention is both CA and NY allow non-citizens to WRONGFULLY register to vote in certain elections, and neither CA nor NY can vow with certainty that all voters in government elections are LEGAL AMERICAN Citizens.
