Online headline/story: "'I was wrong': Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen concedes she misread threat of inflation * Yellen in March 2021 said inflation posed only a "small risk." * Two months later, she said she didn't anticipate inflation would "be a problem." -- Good grief... Actually, Yellen herself wasn't wrong.. she's just a messenger, too, like Resident Biden, of the White House "handlers", and she's just been led to the steps of the guillotine for sacrifice...

Ironically, our Constitution was initiated for governance in 1789...a few months later, also in 1789, France authorized the Guillotine ...  I thank our Founding Fathers for it's vision to circumvent an out-of-control political party's actions. The 1st and 2nd Amendments protect all of us..

So JoKKKe and Jill "fight" via "texting" and have penned the word "fexting" to describe it... Hmmm... wonder if they use Teleprompters so JoKKKe can read it?

---
Online "headLIE": "Biden: Ban on assault weapons is 'rational' gun control" -- Hmmm.. well, actually, unless someone has a specific federal license/permit to own one, "assault" guns are ALREADY government controlled... and that IS rational... What's NOT RATIONAL is for Resident Biden... Bill Clinton for that matter.. to redefine what constitutes a gun being labeled an "assault" weapon.

---
Online headline: "Iran has enough uranium to build an atomic bomb, U.N. agency says" -- Hmmm.. so... even with Trump's 4 years of intervention, the Iranis have already exceeded the "promises Obama/Biden made concerning the Iran Accord... Wonder if Schumer has pre-notified any of his possible Israeli kinfolk it's time to get out? This also reminds me to ask why the US Jewish Community supports Democrats...

---
Online headline: "Biden frustrated with aides for walking back his statements, worries he looks weak" -- "worries he looks weak"? Good grief, even on his best days, he IS weak.... all he is is the Teleprompter Messenger Boy for "the White House handlers"!

---
White House spinmeisters keep promoting what a good job market this is for low income families.. What BS! While there are millions of unfilled, high paying jobs .. true.. but low income families aren't going to get them because their education levels are substandard.. At the current minimum wage levels of $15-$25 dollars an hour, employers are not taking minimum skills applicants on.

---
Resident Biden glorifies his Executive Order to pump 1,000,000 barrels of oil daily from our Strategic Oil Reserves as a "cure" for high gas prices... do you reckon he has even calculated how much foreign oil producers will charge per barrel to sell him oil to REPLACE what he's taken out?

According to a recap of Columbus (GA)Council activity in May, "The CPD is also
going to Ford Explorers over time with a blue color scheme. The paint scheme will be much less expensive." -- Hmm.. maybe Council needs define "much less expensive"... I remember back in the mid-1980s, teachers in local high schools were allowed to "dress more casually, so hey started wearing jeans and even sweats. in some cases.. all of a sudden, there wasn't as much visual definition of who were teachers and who were students walking the halls of high schools.. and students did not have "the protection" of knowing who was a teacher if a situation was getting out of hand...Having our new police vehicles "blend in" with civilian vehicles will probably have the same affect on people in trouble seeking comfort, and also less deterrence for situations that normally might keep a crime from being permitted..I tell you one thing.. it's bad enough that Council allows law enforcement officers who live in Harris County, GA or Phenix City, AL to drive their service vehicles home, but now with service vehicles being more like civilian vehicles, there will be even less "law enforcement presence" noticed in the Valley...

---
Another "note" in May's Council recap shows that, "Mayor Henderson took a moment to note that Monday was Memorial Day, a time to remember the loss of those who died in military service." -- Hmmm... wish he'd taken a moment to address why neither Veterans Parkway nor Broadway displayed ANY presentation of the value the City has for it's veterans and their families/ancestors... well, if you stretch hard enough, you could say that the vast number of businesses that have barbered and/or concertina razor wire encircling them MIGHT tell veterans and their families that the hardships of the battlefields and prison camps were reminders...

---
Another Council "tidbit" might also need a little more scrutiny before being implemented... "Elizabeth Barfield, Internal Auditor, provided a Police Department transition audit. She noted that cash needs to move as quickly as possible from
being evidence to a bank account. She also recommended going to electronic documents as much as possible to reduce the amount of paper that had to be stored." -- Taking note of the missing $5.5+ million dollars embezzled from a clerk's office, and the recent "loss of data" on a "voting results" electronic file, maybe the paper trail.. plus and off premise "copy" need to be kept!

---
Oh! Another Council issue : "Ms. LaShurn Edwards, representing Triumph Enterprises, spoke about the denial of an ARP Grant for Triumph Enterprises due to the business being
homebased. This caused discussion for several minutes with a promise to revisit the rules preventing a homebased business from applying." -- Wait a minute.. "homebased" businesses NEEDED to be excluded... and for good reasons... starting with "sole use of property, and delineation of tax and licensing issues.. not to mention possible "nepotism" conflicts for residents using said properties for their home..

---
One thing, unfortunately, is that even though the overall Lifeguard needs are a problem nationwide, it's not as hard here as elsewhere.. we still have two major swimming facilities that Council has not gotten fixed for YEARS.. so they don't need as many Lifeguards...

---
From the "Fred Sanford, "Elizabeth... it's the BOG ONE! I'm coming to see ya!" department - Wow.. I was not expecting to see this Council tidbit being addressed so quickly: "Waste Collection Update was provided by Drale Short, Public Works
Director. Councilor Crabb asked for a trash can lid design review because
of the propensity of water collecting on the lid and then pouring into the can
when the lid is lifted." -- If any Councilor's want to "smell" the affect of water accumulating in the bottom of the new cans because of the bad lid design, hurry to my home before the trash collectors get here today! Water and summer heat mixed with garbage elements create a stench and a "fly magnet"...

---
Even though it "sounds great", I wish Council would define "affordable homes"... None being built today.. with material costs so high.. actually qualify as "affordable".. throw in the "shock" of a first time buyer who is not prepared to maintain said properties on their own and pay property taxes in addition to mortgage payments and culture shock will jump up and waylay the effort..

---
Synovus has reprogrammed it's ATMs' software, and using one has become less attractive.. no longer can you get a "visible balance" of your accounts before doing a transaction, and getting multiple accounts information is nigh impossible... and the changes to the screen location of icons has become more laborsome to handle reaching out of one's car window..

---
WTVM-TV9 headline: "Columbus Police Department internal audit released" -- Great timing .. one week after the recent local elections....

---
Online headline: "If you have to remind your staff you're the president, that's a problem" -- Sorta reminds me of when President Reagan was shot, and Alexander Haig stepped up and said, "I'm in charge". Of course, Haig was wrong.. but Haig was closer to being in charge than Resident Biden has ever been.

---
Online headline: "NYT reporter tweets everyone she knows wishes they could raise their kids outside of America".. Hey... , Guess what... They can! They can pack up and move! How about "reporting" that.. if nothing else, there's be 1 truth you told that you can put on your resume'.

---
Online headline: "Second Amendment was meant to put down slave rebellions, MSNBC guest claims" -- You know, with as much crap as Reid and MSNBC, and her "guests" throw up against the wall, you would think that something would stick occasionally..

---
It's bad enough the Columbus Water Works is fighting against giving us cleaner and safer (from FECAL MATTER) water, but can this be anymore definitive on ineptness? Even though I "autopay" online, I still get "snail mail" telling me things the CWW could send me via e-mail.. This takes the cake.. the CWW is so concerned about "supply Issues" that it tells me I don't have an UNNEEDED return envelope in the "non-bill... except I do have have one...

----------------------------------
Last week, Resident Biden wagged his finger of blame at Mom&Pop gas stations for raising prices when his oil reserve releases were bringing the cost of oil down.. Hmmm, did not his "handlers" tell him oil was up to about $120.00 a barrel?

Yesterday, his replacement Psaki said prices at the pump and grocery shelves were down... and inflation was under control.. guess his jury was the one used in the Sussmann trial.

Wow. A two mile area around our home in Columbus GA has had 3 shootings reported in the last week.. Why does it take an internet 3rd party to send me information.. Why isn't Columbus Consolidated Government making this vital information available?
Here's where you can get this info SENT to you weekly or monthly:
