I'd love to see one of the lawyers suing Expedia et al for the difference in the amount of hotel tax between purchase and resale prices swear under oath that he is suing because of his public concern for Columbus. If one does such, then ask him why he's not involved "pro bono".

From the 'what if" department - What if schools practiced 'tough love' to get better classroom discipline and cooperation from students? What if students were not allowed to participate in sports or other extracurricular activities when their active grades were below a 'C', but could resume when the grade was pulled up? What if parents also enforced the grade attainment before allowing their children to play non-school sports et al, as well? Bet it will work if tried and enforced.

Did you notice how little media coverage there was on potUS O'Blather's actual entourage during his bus tour? With all the hype, there still was limited coverage of all but his speeches. The truth is coming out now that the buses didn't really go on tour. Air Force 1 plus a C-130 flew the president and the buses from city to city, and he would get on the bus only to go to the site where he was speaking, then reverse the process to travel to the next stop.

interesting scenario happening - Sam Wellborn has been drawn out of his DOT 3rd District and placed in Bishop's District 2. Now, is the current District 2 DOT person from Cordele being drawn out of District 2? Could all of a sudden, Columbus have 2 DOT Reps, or is this a ploy to remove Wellborn from the Board?
