HuffPOOPOO story: "In an interview airing on Sunday on CBS's "60 Minutes.", President Obama said Hillary Rodham Clinton's use of a private email server to conduct government business when she served as secretary of state was a mistake but didn't endanger national security, *  "I think she'd be the first to acknowledge that maybe she could have handled the original decision better and the disclosures more quickly," Obama said." -- "she'd be the first to acknowledge that maybe she could have handled it better"? "didn't endanger national security"?  Good grief, HILLsbury DOUGHgirl still hasn't acknowledged she handled it less than perfect!. To boot, Obamageddon hasn't handled it any better himself., and he's the one responsible for the endangering the security of the US..

---
From above story: "Obama also said he was not initially aware of her use of the private email server." -- "not initially aware"? Yeah.. maybe on "day 1", but even loyal Democrats know Obamageddon knew by "day 2".

---
From above story: "On Trump's election prospects, Obama said: "I don't think he'll end up being president of the United States." -- Hmmm probably a fair assessment.. after all, who among us in 2007, even 2008,  ever thought Obamageddon would end up being president of the United States?

---
Speaking of "60 Minutes" - There's a movie coming out this week named "Truth".. It stars uber lib Robert Redford playing Dan Rather...the " Truth" is not in this movie as it wasn't in Rather..Ironically, it's filmed in Australia...guess seeing signs in Washington  welcoming  the "Truth" was a bit scary for the politicians and mainscream media.

Online story: "An off-duty police officer died Sunday after being shot multiple times, the fourth Memphis police officer to be fatally shot in slightly more than four years, authorities said. * Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong said 31-year-old Terence Olridge was taken to the Regional Medical Center, where he later died.* Olridge joined the department in September 2014. He had a fiancee who is four months pregnant," -- Hmmm... nowhere in the story does it mention that Officer Olridge was black... also, no where in the story does it mention "Black Lives Matter"  was on the scene comforting Olridge's family-to-be.

---
Online story: "For just the third time in 40 years, millions of Social Security recipients, disabled veterans and federal retirees can expect no increase in benefits next year, unwelcome news for more than one-fifth of the nation's population. *  The government is scheduled to announce the COLA - or lack of one - on Thursday, when it releases the Consumer Price Index for September. Inflation has been so low this year that economists say there is little chance the September numbers will produce a benefit increase for next year. * They can blame low gas prices" -- "blame low gas prices"? How about welfare benefits... are they going to receive no COLA increase because of "low gas prices"? How about C]automatic Congressional pay increase.. are they going to stop because of "low gas prices"?

---
Online headline: "Sanders reveals key edge he has on Hillary Clinton" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought he was going to say the "Truth".. unfortunately he claims it's "consistency"... but who has been more consistent than HILLsbury DOUGHgirl over the years.. ever known her to tell the truth or accept responsibility?

---
Online headline: "USC head coach 'not healthy,' takes indefinite leave" -- Good grief.. political correctness has corrupted sports reporting!  Liberals have convinced us that their personal choices are not their fault but sports used to be a bastion of the truth.. players don't get a head by social promotions..they earn their stardom, but now showing up for a game or practice drunk is considered being "not healthy".and he" is taking an "indefinite leave".. "he" made that choice? .. yeah, right..

---
From the "only in California" department - Online story: "California will ban public schools from naming their sports teams "Redskins," a name seen as a slur against Native Americans, but will not stop municipalities from naming parks and buildings for Confederate heroes, Governor Jerry Brown said on Sunday." -- Hmmm.. how do you straddle a politically correct fence? Looks like Moonbeam Brown has found one.. Now.. can't you see in the future when a Superbowl is scheduled in California, and the Washington Redskins are the NFC champs, and California files a court suit preventing them from playing in California? You know what.. it could happen during a regular season game, too.

---
More Moonbeam Brown stupidity: "Gov. Jerry Brown has signed a bill banning concealed weapons from California schools and universities" -- Good grief.. psychopaths already assumed they could be the only gun carriers on campuses, but now they will KNOW it!

---
Looks like the number of "Sanctuary cities" is growing. Now there are 340 such cities. Defending such cities is on the floor in the Senate..contact your Senator and make sure they vote for Kate's Law.

---
If Obamageddon spent more time running the country than he does running his mouth on fund raising agenda, America would be much better off

---
With the manipulation of Republican leaders'  Wikipedia pages being traced back to Homeland Security servers, Obamageddon has finally out-Nixoned Nixon.

---
Got an E-mail from James Carville saying "Us donkeys got to stick together". Guess every Democrat feels obligated to redefine everything to suit themselves. We already knew he's a jackass.

THe field goal has become a detriment to football.. 50 plus yard attempts have basically shortened the playing field. I'd like to see field goal points be "graduated".. say 3 points for filed goals inside the "Red Zone"; 2 points for field goals from the 20+ to 50 yards, and a 1 point for 50+ yards. It would give the defenses more incentive not to play "prevent defense" in the final minutes.

Looked up motorcycle details after seeing our City is wanting to buy 4 of them @ $23,650 a  pop. I remember when motorcycles were a low cost way to put men on the street when budgets were tight , but what's cheaper about a low powered ,two wheel vehicle that doesn't get but 35 MPGs, and is not an all-weather vehicle?  Even a compact police car could carry a partner, or convey a prisoner and offer much better safety in a weather change. Perhaps there needs to be more discussion about the need and future of motorcycles if they aren't a cost savings option.

Where is there still mystery around Area 51? Wouldn't it behoove our government to inform our nation, even the world about what is it isn't there? Think about how intimidating knowledge of our advanced technology would be in promoting world peace, and how invigorating knowledge of extraterrestrial space ships would be for our technology and science programs.

Has anyone on Council thought about the affect of not having the property tax freeze would have made on the Columbus housing market and tax revenues if it were not in place during the last 12 years? Most freeze properties have maintained their tax payments even though their houses lost value which have kept the City pretty well funded under the circumstance.. Had it not been in place.. two things could/would have happened.. property tax revenue would have dropped, then Council probably would have been able to raise the revenue percentages which would probably sent more houses into a tailspin of repos and forced sales at even lower prices which would lead to even less tax revenues.

---
Another creepy thing about the Chamber of Commerce wrongfully endorsing a ballot initiative on the tax freeze assault of Mayor TomLYINGson.. the Chamber is directly affected by tax revenues.. the Chamv=ber gets a large "donation" from the Columbus Development Authority which gets .25 mils of every property tax dollar that comes in. In effect, the Chamber is campaigning for a tax increase for itself!

Online story: "Residents of Edmond, Oklahoma decided to protest the construction of a Muslim Mosque last Friday in the best way they could think of. The residents were disgruntled that a new mosque was being built, so they very creatively took matters into their own hands. When the Muslims showed up to their building for their Friday prayers, they were greeted with loads of bacon wrapped around the handles of all the doors." -- Heh heh heh.. Okies are OK in my book... now if they will get a local law mandating all residents must have a pet pig in their homes...

What in the world are the organizers of the "Peanut Poll" at the Georgia National Fair thinking when they set up it's polling station and asked people to put a peanut into a Mason jar labeled with the candidate of their choice? THe fact that peanuts are also called "goobers" does nothing but feed mainscream media fodder to joke about Georgia voters.

---
Online story: "A group of young people brought to the U.S. illegally as children is asking Georgia's highest court to overturn the dismissal of a lawsuit they filed seeking access to in-state tuition at the state's colleges and universities." -- Good grief.. how do illegal aliens have standing in any court?

---
L-E story: " Almost two months after the first two women graduated from U.S. Army Ranger School, a third one appears set to join them. * Maj. Lisa Jaster, 37, has successfully completed the Florida phase of the Army’s toughest combat leadership school and is scheduled to graduate on Friday at Fort Benning, according to multiple sources familiar with the situation. * Jaster is the mother of two children, ages 7 and 3, and serves as an Army reservist. A 2000 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, she works as an engineer for Shell Oil in Houston." -- Excuse me.. while I'm proud to know a reservist is able to pass the rigors of Ranger School, why was she even allowed to do so? Why is money spent on someone who is not available full time for using their skills to serve our country at a moments notice? Same applies for men in the reserves.

---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "   If we had three more zip lines, two more Taj Mahals, and a RiverWalk to south Florida, we’d get enough extra tourism money that we could give everyone a tax break." -- Will someone please disconnect Mayor TomLYINGson's computer from the Internet? Either that, of the L-E put her address in its "spam filter".

---
From the L-E's "Today in History" feature: " Today is Sunday, October 11, the 284th day of 2015. There are 81 days left in the year." -- Good grief.. the Columbus L-E is doing everything in its repertoire to avoid mentioning it's "Columbus Day".. Maybe it's because the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer is printed in Montgomery, AL.

---

From L-E story on MCSB work session agenda: " The board will discuss its self assessment." -- Wow.. I'd love to be a fly on the wall to hear the criticism, and Varner's dismissal of such from the minutes. Of course, Thomas and Myers might not get invited to speak on this.
