be challenged.. state requirements require a community to provide garbage,
police, and fire services in order to be a "city". Secondly.. if just as much
garbage has to be picked up in 2 days as 4 days, that means the same amount of
trips necessary to get it to the dump.. where is the savings?

From the "look what I stumbled across by accident"department: While looking
to see who the current officials of the Muscogee County Democratic Party are
currently, I found a "Democrat Accomplishments" list. Most of what the Democrats
consider and accomplishment are, in reality, albatrosses to progress., but one
such claim really made me laugh.. and laugh out loud.. They claim the landing on
the moon in 1969 as a "Democratic Accomplishment".. first it was a national
fervor, national pride, that spurred the landing on the moon.. first.. by
America.. Secondly, it happened in 1969.. remember who was president in 1969...
that's right that "Democrat" Richard Nixon!

The L-E just published its subscription info as required.. currently, it
looks like circulation is down to 21,000 +/- copies,, that's less than 10% of
the SMSA population.. you'd think the L-E would try to boost its sales..
printing the truth about local issue and government entities would probably get
those results. To celebrate, the L-E edition today has a whole 20 pages..

Some people like to "snipe" while concealed in the shadows.. those people are not worthy of having their comments addressed nor published.
For info sake.. recently, viewer numbers have eclipsed 29,000 on six continents (all but Antarctica).
Am foregoing advertising to bring you clutter free news and opinion.
