From the "inquiring minds want to know" department: When Mayor ObamaLYINGson took away our twice-a-week garbage pick-ups, she proclaimed more recycling was the answer to lower cost garbage service in the future. She built an huge new Recycling Center that only about 10%-to-20% is even being used in preparation for "the boom". Now glass is no longer even a desired recycling product, and recycling other materials has reached a new low in desirability so it looks like either the City will have to pay people to haul recyclable products off, or they'll eventually have to be moved to the dump/landfill? Tell me.. where are the savings we are getting for one less pick-up per week? How will operating more expensive recycling trucks  save money over the traditional garbage trucks?

Looking back at the article penned by Mike Owen about the effects of the tax freeze assault being led by Mayor ObamaLYINGson, Owen "absently minded" leaves out the affect all this has on the MCSD portion of the property taxes. .. especially since the MCSD gets about 50% more than the City does in propertyy tax revenues and the MCSD will does not give homestead exemptions.
