Wanna bet whether Sean Penn gets invited back to the White House? I'm pretty sure El Chapo can get to Penn regardless of where he is.

Online "story": " U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Monday proposed a 4 percent tax on the wealthiest sliver of taxpayers who earn more than $5 million per year. * The so-called "surcharge" on the wealthiest 0.02 percent would generate $150 billion over the next decade, according to a Clinton campaign aide." -- Is there anything Democrats won't lie about to create class envy and buy votes? From the latest figures available (May 2012) only 22,500 tax returns were filed earning $5,000,000.00 or more, and G.I. JILLary says she's going to hit them with an additional $15 BILLION in taxes a year for the next 10 years? That would be an average of an additional $680,000.00 annually each added on to the $2,000,000.00 plus annually they already pay.. Other than Congress would never approve this folly of hers (so she can "honestly lie" about it to "buy votes") even if she "could" do that NERO-bamageddon style with a "phone and pen' , it wouldn't happen as those assets would be moved out of the country, and that much less cash would flow through our economy. To boot, a lot of those "taxpayers" are corporations and additional taxes would just eliminate more jobs that exist currently.
One other point: If JILLary "got her promise", confiscating an "extra" $15 BILLION a year from the very few, and redistributing it, would only give $50.00 annually to the other 300,000,000 million Americans.. and that's before taxes.

From above "story": "Clinton's proposals have included a $350 billion plan to reduce college debt; a $275 billion plan to invest in infrastructure and a $30 billion plan to assist coal-dependent regions as the country transitions to renewable energy." -- "proposals"? Can anyone actually put their hands on a written and fleshed out G.I. JILLary "proposal"? All JILLary is doing is throwing big, but not "too big", figures into the conversation in hopes that no one in mainscream media will actually delve into how any of this would actually "help".
---
Did you see pictures of the "Trump protesters" in SC? Can you imagine what it cost a Jewish lawyer to get 6 devout Muslims to stand wearing the "Jewish Star"? Maybe they were actors "playing one on TV"....
---
While there's plenty of talk about the Republican debate coming up, little is being said about the Democratic on looming in which O'Malley hasn't qualified to be on.. G.I. JILLary is so upset she wants mainscream media to put O'Malley on the stage as well.. but not for any "nice" reasons.. JILLary just doesn't want to be on stage by herself with Bernie.. With only two "debaters", she can no longer get the "center of the stage", and with just she and Bernie discussing things, she will be outed about there being no difference between a Democrat and a Socialist.
---
Think about just JILLary and Bernie being on a stage together.. if Bernie is on "her right", then the Democrat audience will she her as "right of Bernie". If Bernie is on JILLary's "left", then the audience wii=ll see her as "left of the Socialist"..

Online headline/story: " Clinton breaks from White House on key issue * Hillary Clinton is calling on the Obama administration to end raids aimed at deporting Central Americans who entered the United States illegally. * Clinton says the holiday-season roundups were "mass deportations" that are sowing "division and fear." * Clinton is promising to "do everything possible to provide due process." * She says she would ensure government lawyers for all unaccompanied minors and increase funding for immigration courts. * The White House says the raids reflected the administration's top priorities for deportation — people with criminal convictions and people caught crossing the border illegally." -- Hmmm... JILLary said, "promising to "do everything possible to provide due process."? ... Hmmm.. first .. it's a JILLary "promise" so we know where that is heading.. secondly, "due process" applies to people who are American citizens or guests who are legally admitted..
The real irony of JILLary's "plea" is that she cannot blame Trump...

Online story: "Kim Davis, the county clerk in Kentucky who defied a court order to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, will attend President Barack Obama's final State of the Union address Tuesday night, The Washington Examiner reports. * The Family Research Council, a socially conservative Christian group that opposes same-sex marriage, secured Davis' spot in the House chamber at the U.S. Capitol." -- Hmmm.. Looks like NERO-bamageddon's "empty chair" has been "Trumped".. Ironoically, Ms Davis was a lifelong Democrat when she stood her religious ground.

Did you see the FaceBook outrageous "claim" that equally distributing the PowerBall lottery pot of $1.3 BILLION would end poverty because 300,000,000 people would get $4,330,000.00 each? .. Just shows you what "Common CRAP Math has done to education.. the correct answer to that division problem is $4.33 each.

Online headline: "City with the lowest tax rate in America is ......." -- is NOT Columbus, GA! ... and yet Mayor TomLYINGson thinks we need to pay more property taxes.. It doesn't matter to her that Columbuis' tax rates are among the highest in the state... country for that matter.. and now that Columbus' voter base is swollen with non-property owners than when our "tax freeze" was voted in 30 plus years ago, our legislative group of mostly Democrats (like her) are wanting to put this issue on the November ballot to eliminate the current tax protection measures. Sadly, one, John Pezold of the "Republicans" is the "lead foil" to do so..
---
Have you seen them? Maybe you have, and it hasn't registered yet.. I'm talking about those "blu" e-cig ads running on cable TV channels. Call/write your Congressperson and get these "nipped in.the bud"...your children/grandchildren are watching.

L-E headline/story: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * Board members debate role in hiring * Member asks to meet candidate before vote * What normally prompts little or no discussion turned into a debate of more than 25 minutes during the Muscogee County School Board’s work session Monday evening.
The agenda item asks for approval of superintendent David Lewis’ recommendation to hire Fulton County Board of Education budget analyst Michi Billings as Muscogee’s new senior budget director. But the disagreement was mainly about the board’s role in hiring any administrator at such a level of responsibility.
District 8 representative Frank Myers, whose 2014 campaign called for more accountability and transparency in the school system, asked whether board members could meet Billings before they vote during the Jan. 19 meeting. Lewis said that won’t happen, and Myers wondered aloud, “So we just take a shot in the dark and rubber-stamp this recommendation? … The idea that we’re not allowed to meet a person who will be a director is unacceptable.”" -- Hmmm... how quickly the $30 MILLION "accounting error" at St Francis is "conveniently forgotten by Lewis and most of the MCSB.
---
From above story: " Myers asked District 4 representative Naomi Buckner, who sits next to him at the board table, whether she would hire somebody to clean her house without first meeting the applicant. * “I’m not supposed to dilly-dally in the personnel of the school district,” Buckner replied. “We have to act on the information that they present to us.” -- Hmmm.. wonder if the St Francis Board wishes it could "dilly-dally" back when it hired former Chief Financial Officer Matt Moore?
---
From above story: "John Thomas asked MCSD chief financial officer Theresa Thornton, the senior budget director’s supervisor, whether she was objective in her role on the selection panel despite having worked with Billings in Fulton County. * “Definitely,” Thornton said." -- "objective"? "definitely" Good grief.. I imagine St Francis' CEO recommended his former cohort as well when Moore was brought on board.. Wanna bet whether Granger would do the same again?

L-E headline: " Nationally recognized reptile expert to hold educational
meeting Jan. 19" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought the MC Democratic Party had brought
in an expert on campaigns and campaign promises.
---
L-E headline: "Obama’s State of the Union address seeks to frame 2016 race"
-- Hmmm.. guess I can watch something else, since G.I. JILLary has pretty much
"framed" herself...

While none of the 5 "ideas" selected for final decisions n[by the Knight
Foundation Challenge seem worthy of funding.. three of them just sound like some
things that would make Glenn Beck's head explode!
One one to build an enclosed pool in the Chattahoochee.. "in the
Chattahoocheee"? The river that is still subsiding from flood waters? Wouldn't a
structured swimming pool basically be an "ark" and float out like a casket in a
flooding cemetery? Another "would string lights between buildings in distressed
areas of Columbus where mixed commercial building density is high, but
development is low." .. dare we ask when the wire would be "cashed in" at a
scrap metal station for the copper wire value? And third, though certainlt not
the least "would create “urban glens” — inviting spaces with trees, lights and
hammocks — on vacant and overgrown lots to encourage people to meet and connect,
while cleaning up city-owned properties." -- Good grief.. why not just let the
Housing Authority do this a Section 8 housing for the homeless? Besides,
cleaning up City-owned properties is already an obligation for Mayor
TomLYINGson.

Last Wednesday, I sent the following e-mail to our Mayor/Council.. no one
has responded so far, but since today is a meeting day, I'll let you know
tomorrow if anyone does:
FOIA request:
I asked the Columbus Police Department for a count of the number of people
who were non-fatally shot in Columbus during the commission of a crime, and I
got a response that says the CPD doesn't have a record of that.. I want to know
"how come"...Surely a gunshot wound victim is noted on all cases as the person
shot is definitely a material witness if not a perpetrator.
