Online headline: "US made secret concession in Iran prisoner swap" -- Yeah, Our safety and security for NERO-bamageddon's ego.

---
Repeat of FB posting yesterday AM: You heard it here first...a fellow BCer went to the Economic meeting at CSU this morning..one of our legislative delegates told him that they decided the TomLYINGson assault on the tax freeze was illegal...YES!

Online story of O'Reilly-Trump interview: "In your Christian faith, there is a very significant tenet. And that's the tenet of forgiveness," Bill O'Reilly later told Trump. * And I think you should forgive not only journalists who come at you in ways you don't like, but I think you should be the bigger man and say, 'You know what? I didn't like it. ... But I'm not going to take any action against it.' Don't you think that's the right thing to do?" -- Hey, Bill.. would you have asked Jesus why he just didn't forgive the money changers in the temple?  Yeah.. O'Reilly probably would, but you know, leaders stand up against what's wrong.. otherwise it looks like you agree with it (or at a minimum, condone it). Like Popeye would say,.. "That's all I can stands 'n I can't stands no more!

There's a list out of the "Top 10 Most Corrupt Countries"..From worst to 10th Worst: Somalia, North Korea, Afghanistan, Sudan, South Sudan, Angola, Libya, Iraq, Venezuela, and Guinea-Bissau. Guess what they all have in common.. none are Judeo-Christian.. no, Venezuela is a "trick question".. but who believes Venezuela is more corrupt than Iran, Syria, or Palestine? What else do they all have in common... NERO-bamageddon would send Kerry to negotiate with them.

Online headline/story: "Hillary Clinton opens up about her greatest political regret  * "I regret we didn't get health care back in 1993 or '94, because we'd really be much further down the road," she says." -- Hmmm... I partially agree with her.. "we'd really be much further down the ...." ...there the agreement ends.. she says "road". I say "tubes"!

L-E story: " Nearly 1,900 Georgians who had failed the GED test may now be eligible for the general equivalency diploma, and hundreds of others could earn college credit from the exam, because the national scoring system has changed. *  The passing score was lowered from 150 to 145. That means 1,880 Georgians who received a score of 145 to 149 on the GED test since Jan. 1, 2014, when the exam went from paper to computer, could receive the high school credential, the Technical College System of Georgia announced in a news release." -- Good grief.. lowering the standards for an already lowered standard... that makes sense... NOT.. unless you're liberal in the education system who is happy for more wall-papering diplomas to be on the streets. What's even worse, fewer G.E.D. test will be given in the future since now no graduation test is required and "regular" diplomas will be handed out like free scent samples at Dillards.. only the Dillard's "scents" will smell better.

L-E story: "A Columbus man was jailed Wednesday and police seized $154,644 worth of methamphetamine during a search at a Third Avenue home, police said.  * Greenhaw claimed responsibility of all the illegal items in the home. Police said agents found 2.8 pounds of meth at the home along with a 9mm pistol and a stolen 32-inch TV."  -- Hmmm... a felon in possession of an illegal gun while committing another felonious crime.. we don't need tougher gun laws.. we need tougher sentencing.. this looks like an unappealable death sentence crime to me.

L-E story: "The city’s ancient fleet of garbage trucks is putting at risk not only the lives of the drivers and crews who operate them, but everyone they drive past, according to the men and women who drive them and the mechanics who struggle to keep them on the road. * Almost 80 percent of the fleet is well over the recommended age for such trucks, seven years, and many are more than twice that old. Replacing the fleet may involve raising the city’s garbage fee, suggested Public Works Director Pat Biegler, who addressed Columbus Council Tuesday night, along with several of her mechanics and drivers." -- What BS.. badly maintained vehicles is a result of not prioritizing expenditures, bad management, and bad leadership..

Good grief--- Mayor TomLYINGson is open to losing $500,000.00 a year to keep the AquaticCenter open, yet lets garbage trucks rot away while she tries to raise our property taxes and garbage fees. Heard she didn't have a good day yesterday.. Even before the Economic Conference at CSU, she learned that the legislative delegation says her tax freeze assault proposal is not legal.

From above story:
This picture showing the exposed wiring just confirms how inadequate City leadership and capabilities are.

I think the City has a machine shop-in-house, (I do know there are several businesses that do such work) and a part for this could be made relatively easy and inexpensively.. Even Columbus Tech could make this.

L-E's "Thought for Today": “It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow.” — Robert H. Goddard, American rocket engineer (1882-1945)." -- Well it's not near as "difficult to say what is impossible" for our children and grandchildren.. "possible" has been demoted by liberals who teach only the government can provide for you...

---
L-E editorial headline concerning legal fees caused by Moyor TomLYINGson: "If we have to pay, tell us just what we’re paying for" -- You know.. let's just pay to have TomLYINGson recalled for malfeasance in office.. just her budget inadequacies are enough for charges to be warranted.

From the "let me get this straight" department: The IOC has decided that transgendered men do not have to have had "the surgery" in order to compete in the 2016 Brazil Olympics.. good grief... is the IOC trying to get Caitlyn Jenner to come out... of retirement? I truly hope some normal world class male athletes will put on skirts and demand to be allowed to compete in women's and co-ed competitions.. How about Steph Curry and a few of his cronies on the USA Women's Basketball Team, or the PGA Ryder Cup team playing in the Women's Golf event..

---
Online headline: "Ga. Lawmaker Proposes Ban On LGBT Conversion Therapy" -- Heel yeah.. ya damn straight.. the Olympics says anybody .. for that matter any body type, can compete in Women's Events, so why should we pay for "conversion therapy"?

L-E story: " Former Central football star Jeremiah Castille shared an impassioned message to a select gathering of Central High students on Wednesday in the school’s auditorium. *  He was there to present the school with a gold football from the NFL to mark the 50th anniversary of the Super Bowl. Castille played for the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXII and was asked, along with all other Super Bowl participants, to present the token to the school they began their careers at. * Castille wanted to present the students with much more, however. * “I wanted to come back,” he said. “I owe so much to Central High School and all the teachers that were here, and I wanted to encourage the students who are here now.” -- Jeremiah Castille... what a great man.. probably didn't weigh in at more than 137 pounds when he played pro-football. but receivers knew they had been "stuck" when he hit them. .. but that's not why I think he's a great man.. his off field leadership and devotion to God have been a blessing to all that know or have met him.

Have you seen the ad for "Peter and the Wolf" to be showing at the River Center on Sunday? It says there are childrens ticket available for $10.00 & $8.00. Now go online to order some tickets and there's no option to buy a child's ticket. This is not right.
