From the "how much higher can he.. then she.. go" department": Online

-- Hmm "before Democratic debate".. it's wasn't a debate.. it was an auction to
buy votes by redistributing working folks money.

Did you watch the Democratic Party "debate" last night? Me neither when I heard the DNC kowtowed to G.I. JILLary's wanting it to put O'Malley back on the stage despite not qualifying with enough of a polling percentage. She did not want to be alone on stage with Bernie.. First, it would have meant more questions for her, and if she were alone with Bernie, she'd either have to be on his right or left instead of centered, and there would be no doubt that there's no difference between a Socialist and a Democrat.

Besides, authoress Ranin Ganeshram was born in New York City to a Trinidadian father and an Iranian mother, and her illustrator, Vanessa Brantley-Newton is an African-American, and now, liberalism has just taken away both of their source of future income.

Weekend Update:
Well, we bought a new car for my bride Friday. It has most of those electronic options I wish I could buy a new car without, because I know most of those won't be used, and most will be either obsolete it non-functioning by trade in time. My suspicions were confirmed with on hours of our purchase when our granddaughter got her hands on the display controls. When my bride cranked it up this morning, her music selection list was in Japanese.

Those murderers... the ones that brutally beat and stabbed and killed 3 people in Upatoi, walked about 20 miles that day/night to get to their premeditated destination. There is no death penalty save "draw & quarter" that befits their sentence. From a Richard Hyatt L-E column: "They live in different neighborhoods and had never met until Thursday, but in a matter of minutes, residents of Leesburg, Windsor Park and streets in between learned they share the same fears and concerns. * With them were the mayor, the police chief and a small army of officials who came to Blackmon Road Middle School to hear their grievances. * Some thought the night was reserved for Leesburg, which is being intimidated by ballers on a public basketball court on Old Dominion Road. They talk nasty, smoke dope and race through the neighborhood just off Billings Road. * But residents of comfortable old Windsor Park, who came telling stories of gunfire, break-ins and toddlers too scared to sleep alone, dominated the vacant lunchroom." --
Richard.. how do you write a column about common fears and common problems and not mention race or color once? Political correctness and tap-dancing will not bring the core of the problem to the surface and generate meaningful conversation that can start solving a problem that affects all persons of all races.

I have no problem with the NBA diversity.. or lack of it.. as I am one that gives credit for skills versus affirmative action and 'tokenism'. L-E guest commentary: "Dems need immigration ideas * Froma Harrop * As respectable Republicans panic over Donald Trump’s storm of insults against Hispanics, Democrats may be tempted to sit back and watch the other party estrange millions of potential voters. But they do so at their own peril. * Democrats already have the luxury of being far less offensive, whatever position they take on immigration. But they must take a position, and that position must draw a line between legal and illegal. To do so, they can’t flinch when advocates of open borders unleash unpleasant accusations against any Democrat who attempts to honor that line. * Over half of Latinos in the U.S. workforce were born in this country. They are thoroughly American. And that doesn’t count the huge number of foreign-born Hispanic workers here legally. * Their wages and benefits are also being depressed by unauthorized migrants willing to work for less. And as many states and cities raise their minimum wages, some employers will be even more tempted to hire the undocumented under the table and at lower pay." -- Wow.. what an effect Trump is making on liberals.. now even liberals are backhandedly joining Trump !

And they won’t be citizens of El Salvador, where the Peace Corps just suspended operations due to the increasing violence. * No, we deport those people. * They will be Cubans. In recent months, increasing numbers of Cubans have been leaving their island country, flying to Ecuador first and then traveling northward through Central America. They wish to migrate to the U.S., fearful that thawing diplomatic relations will end the special treatment that Cubans who leave the island have long received." -- "Cuban immigrants get an unfair advantage "?
