Ernie Els did something yesterday that I've never done before. Sure he's done other things like win Majors and other professional tournaments, but those are/were not in my capability realm, but Els 7-putted the first hole.. Things are picking up in the Democratic Party  pre-primary confrontations. Bernie says Hillary isn't qualified to be president, and Hillary has responded that Bernie is not qualified to be a Democrat. Huh? Hillary has already fumbled the question about what the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist is, and now wants to disqualify her clone as unqualified. Seems to me that she's saying that she is as unqualified as he is.

Mike Owen's column in the L-E today explores the salaries of City employees. Of course, what would be more revealing would be adding the total compensation expenses including salaries and benefits, but what this reveals is that bout 2,500 people work for the City's about 200,000 populace, and the MCSD employees 6,000 +/- people to care for 32,000 students for about 80% of a year (counting holidays and weekends which most do not work).  Who says a forensic audit of the MCSD wouldn't benefit both students and taxpayers?
