Wow! Today is my granddaughter's 4th birthday.. she just came into my office to give me a dose of "sunshine", and immediately asked if I would "measure" her..I sprang to my feet and we went to the "measuring" spot (door jamb in Kitchen)) where she backed up as tall as she could be.. guess what.. she's grown another 3/4ths an inch in the last 5 weeks. Today, she's 4 and stands 3' 8".

Last year, I got information that the MCSD had 500-plus buses in its inventory, and 207 bus drivers. Yesterday, I saw a new school bus.. marked with the 2016 ID number. Why have they spent more money on new buses?

Talk about a perfect b'day on Thurday: in addition to golf, a Dinglewood Scramble dog, a Cheddar's Monte Christo sandwich, and a Pat-A-Cake chocolate cake, I got tickets to the Bill O'Reilly-Dennis Miller Show at the Fox in Atlanta!
