Online headline: "Survey shows surge in disapproval of Obamacare" -- Hmmm.. guess the truth has a different tint when it's reported by Trump rather than one of ZERO-bama's gossipmongers.

---
Online headline: "Melania Trump lashed out at the GQ Magazine for allegedly having a set 'agenda' after an article about her family life was published on Wednesday." -- Good grief.. if GQ wants to run stories about candidates wives, then first it should take on Michele Obama's personal White House staff, and vacation travels. .. then the Clinton Foundation's personal expenditures on Hillary.

---
Online story: "U.S. authorities staged the largest gang takedown in New York City history on Wednesday, arresting 120 reputed rival gang members and their associates for murder, robbery, drug dealing and other charges, U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said. *  Nearly 700 federal agents and New York City Police Department officers were involved in Wednesday's pre-dawn raids in the Bronx, which were part of an effort to make the city's public housing projects safer for their roughly 400,000 residents amid a surge of violence, Bharara said. " -- Good grief.. it took 700 law enforcement personnel to haul in 120 gang members, and 120 NYC gang members is a drop in the bucket... and most of the 120 will be back on the street for the weekend.

Excuse me, but I need to understand why an anti-depressant side effect is making one more suicidal?

---
You know, seeing paid protesters trying to intimidate Trump and his supporters at rallies is like watching an election in a Communist or despotic country making sure the current leader wins unanimously.

---
For every body concerned about Trump's knowledge of foreign policy, Trump knocked it out of the park in his speech yesterday.

---
Trump nailed ZERO-bama and Hillary on their abandonment of Christians in the middle-east. What he didn't mention was how they, and the Democratic Party have pretty much abandoned Christians in America.

An Indiana homeowner is being sued by the man he shot who was running away from the homeowner's garage he was burglarizing. The burglar was shot in an alley behind/beside the home so his lawyer is saying that his client was no longer a threat since he was running away. What BS! If the homeowner hadn't shot him, he would have escaped capture and be able to burglarize another homeowner the next night and who knows what the burglar might do to another homeowner who might be a liberal and not have a gun to protect his family.

The American Library Association is trying to eliminate "illegal alien" by replacing it with "noncitizen" or "unauthorized immigration" for "searches" in the Library of Congress because..it sounds "less judgemental". Good grief..since when is the truth considered "judgemental"?

Last week, a felon during the commission of a felonious grand theft crime, ran into a Columbus teacher/coach/family man and killed him. The felon escaped. Well, it's time the black community stepped up to the plate and identified this felon and turn him in. People know exactly who this felon is, and it would be a show of support for their community and the rest of Columbus to turn him in.

L-E headline: "How much do local school districts spend per student? * Chattahoochee County spends most in area, Russell County the least *  At $11,438, Muscogee spends more than state, less than national average Data compiled by NPR" -- Good grief.. the MCSD spends more than $2,200.00 extra per student than the state's share average per student (which means we taxpayers already pay more in MCSD taxes than most of the other counties), and we still have 75% of our schools "failing".. It's not the money ..Local taxpayers are funding the MCSD with 23% more money than the state allots... I think this facts shows that the MCSD/MCSB need to be more transparent with how OUR money is being spent and a forensic audit will show how our taxes can be spent wiser

L-E headline/story: "Math scores slip, reading flat for nation’s 12th-graders * It’s not a promising picture for the nation’s high school seniors — they are slipping in math, not making strides in reading and only about one-third are prepared for the academic challenges of entry-level college courses. * Scores released Wednesday from the so-called Nation’s Report Card show one-quarter of 12th-graders taking the test performed proficiently or better in math. Only 37 percent of the students were proficient or above in reading." -- Good grief.. and our MCSD system has a 75% failure against state scores which at=re below national scores! It keeps getting worse! Vote out the incumbents on our MCSB!

Well since we've been engaged with one of the principles involved in the Whittlesey Road widening project (though he hasn't responded to the opportunity to inform us of the problems), I've sent 4 "letters to the Editor" - with copies to Council - and none of them have been deemed "fit to print" by the Columbus Ledger.. nor acted on by Council. It seems that one of the three entities (McMath-Turner, Council, or the Ledger) would be interested in letting the rest of us know why the delays are inconveniencing the entire community.
