Online story: "Crews on Tuesday are working to repair the outdoor basketball
courts at Linda Esperanza Marquez High School in Huntington Park after the
ground buckled. * The water collection area was created under the courts as
part of a construction project at the school three years ago, according to LAUSD
Chief Facility Executive Mark Hovatter." -- Good grief... our MCSD just bought
overpaid for a house next to Columbus High School next to the school's water
collection area and are planning to pave over both for parking. Can't you see
this same thing happening?

From
the "hypocrisy personified" department: Cruz seems to denigrate businessman
Trump for having given donations to Democrats and Republicans, yet Cruz accepts
donations from people who have given money to him and
Democrats.
---
Online story: "CNN anchor Anderson Cooper repeatedly
pressed Donald Trump on Tuesday about how GOP rival Ted Cruz had managed to
crush him in Colorado. * The bottom line is the rules are the rules. Didn't you
just get outplayed on the ground?" Cooper asked the Republican presidential
frontrunner during a CNN town-hall event." -- Cruz didn't "outplay" Trump.. the
RNC/GOP leadership orchestrated this maneuver. Seems the DNC and the RNC both
want Trump NOT to run for president.. but their reasoning is different.. the
Democrats KNOW he will beat Hillary and the excited voters may elect enough
Republican to control the Senate, and the RNC doesn't want him to run because it
will upset the existing hierarchy within the leadership. Do I need to remind you
that while there's not much we can do about the DNC liberal leanings, upsetting
the Republican Party hierarchy is a PLUS for the America we
love!
---
From the "liberals have such 'good intentions' that won't
ever work" department - Online story: "Bono (yeah.. that one), who co-founded
the international advocacy group ONE, has lobbied in world capitals for causes
including debt relief, alleviating poverty and fighting AIDS. * He offered one
novel suggestion for countering extremism. * "Don't laugh," Bono said,
suggesting that the Senate "send in" comedians Amy Schumer, Chris Rock and Sacha
Baron Cohen to counteract the militants' violent message. * "If you laugh at
them when they're goose-stepping down the street, then it takes away their
power," he said." -- ZERO-bama's "advisory" sources are like his presidency.. a
"joke". Now that's something we have to laugh at because otherwise we'd be
crying. Wanna bet that Kerry will go to the middle-east and pass the message on
to Christians that they should "laugh en masse" at ISIS when they are lined up
for multiple beheadings.

From the "suspicions confirmed"
department: A list of the "15 Worst Cities to Live In If You Want to Save Money"
is out.. 13 of them are in California (NYC and Miami complete the list).
California, of course, send the largest delegation of Congresspersons to
Washington to control Congressional overspending.. There's gotta be a joke in
here somewhere.... you know, maybe it's just time for the other 49 states to
secede from California.
---
There's also a list of the 100 largest
cities ranked best-to-worst.. Now here's something Mayor TomLYINGson can gloat
about.. Columbus did not make the list.. Of course, it's basically caused by
Columbus losing enough citizens (we were number 111 two years ago, but probably
are closer to 120 now) under her rule that we aren't large enough, now, to be
considered.

Online headline: "Man sues gun sellers over weapons
used in 2014 shootings at Kansas Jewish sites" -- Hmmm.. on what grounds.. that
the federal government's data base the sellers have to use are
defective?
---
You know... Congressional pensions need to be looked
at.. a good place to start would be a comparison of each Congressperson's "net
worth" accumulated after his/her first election... those who have become
millionaires, or increased their net worth by a million dollars while in office
should have to forfeit their Congressional pensions. ... oh, and any "campaign
chest" funds left over should go to the state governments they are
from.
---
Online story: "Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) is supporting
Bernie Sanders for president, he said in a blog post on Wednesday. * “Hillary
Clinton has a remarkable record. She would be a strong and capable president,”
Merkley said. “But Bernie Sanders is boldly and fiercely addressing the biggest
challenges facing our country." -- "Bernie Sanders is boldly and fiercely
addressing the biggest challenges"? What .. to find away to expedite and
complete the bankruptcy plan of ZERO-bama?
---
From above story:
"“Having somebody who is identified more as a socialist in many decades of
public service than as a Democrat makes it impossible for Democrats in a state
like Missouri,” Sen. Claire McCaskill (Mo.) said. " -- Good grief.. the only
"state" McCaskill represents is the "state of Denial"! Even Hillary cannot..
well, will not, differentiate the differences between Socialism and the DNC
platform.
---
I'm about to say something that will cause you
consternation... or worse.. if you have a eak stomach for politics, I suggest
you stop reading this right now and skip to the next
item..
..
..
..
OK.. you know, if the way the RNC/GOP leadership
manner of the RNC/GOP's fair play within its primary process is an indicator of
its policy of working for Congressional unity, then I can almost see why
ZERO-bama doesn't want to work with them..Go TRUMP!

Online
headline: "Author claims Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton can't stand each
other" --Hmmm.. another Clinton ploy to make her seem more in tune with Democrta
voters?
---
A Congressman says that the Kurdish fighters are using 40
year old weapons trying to stop ISIS suicide vehicles. Hmmmmm..why didn't
ZERO-bama just leave those weapons to the Kurdish fighters versus giving them to
untrained Iraqi soldiers which basically abandoned them to the advancing ISIS
terrorists.
---
Hillary says that, "If toy companies are held
accountable for endangering our kids, gun makers should be too. Let's end their
immunity." -- Hmmm ...Good grief.. claims against toy manufacturers are based on
product defect, not owner/user defects!

L-E headline/story: "
Jury finds Reginald Jackson not guilty in 2013 homicide" * After four hours’
deliberation, the jury in the murder trial of Reginald Jackson found him not
guilty on all charges Tuesday in the 2013 fatal shooting of Dior Cheney. *
Jackson, 25, who has been jailed since his arrest in April 2014, was to be
released Tuesday afternoon, as defense attorney Melvin Cooper asked the
prosecution to file any documents necessary for the jail to let him go. * The
jury foreman afterward declined to comment on the deliberations, but the
prosecution’s case clearly was torpedoed by the shooting’s only witness, Travis
Porter, who under oath said he lied in 2013 when he told police Jackson was the
gunman who wounded him three times and killed Cheney in a barrage of gunfire on
Oct. 29, 2013." -- Well, you cannot blame the jury for the verdict. but you can
blame them for not recommending that Travis Pi=oryer be assigned to live with
Reiginald Porter for the rest of his short life to come. Now, it the DA's office
doesn't go after Porter with everything its got, then there will never rest
again in crime-ridden black neighborhoods! Oh.. and 911 needs to put a "block"
on all of Porter's phone numbers...none of our police officers should be
required to put their lives on the line .. again.. to save his sorry
(_*_)!

"Sound Off" alert! " Leonard Pitts’ column on Sunday was
the best and most sensible that he’s written.".. There has be some standard at
the L-E..Leonard "the" Pitt should not be able to plug his own
drivel..
---
L-E headline/story: "Auditor recommends $5 garbage fee
hike To pay for replacing ancient fleet * Tomlinson says it won’t be in her
budget * A combination of a $5 increase in the city garbage fee and savings from
reduced maintenance and repairs would be almost enough to fund replacing the
city’s aging solid waste collection truck fleet," -- Hmmm.. let's look at this..
if the savings plus a $5.00 fee hike (one year of "fee hike" would generate
$3,300,000.00) would do all this, then lets have a 1-year ONLY fee hike, and
then the "$500K savings" promised by Mayor TomLYINGson (like we can believe her)
should pay for proper maintenance of our garbage truck fleet FOREVER. All you
homeowners must realize that you are not getting to deduct these garbage fees on
your taxes as they aren't considered a property tax which IS a deduction.
---
L-E headline: "Hugley taps choices for codes, finance
departments" -- You know, when a new financial director is named, and before it
is confirmed, whether promoted or hired from outside, there should be a complete
outside forensic audit made of the City finances. This will prevent a newcomer
from being blamed for what could be irregularities left by the predecessor.
