One of the real reasons tax revenues have dwindled in growth is the number of properties that have been bought up by the state. Properties that once paid property taxes suddenly become exempt.. yet the services from the City go on without compensation.. Same with some of the conversions of historic buildings to condos. Perhaps Mayor TomLYINGson should approach the local legislators on reviewing current laws, and get a new one that makes building exempt (or with discounted) property taxes, pay a fee for  fire and police services, and street maintenance.

All these companies chose their current locations in order to bolster their "bottom lines" .. Taxes and costs in California/NY et al have sent entertainment companies to states with friendlier financial atmospheres, and those companies are not going back on "principle".
