From the "another bit of liberal spin: department - Online "headLIE": "Pentagon rejects Donald Trump's call to halt Guantanamo Bay transfers" -- What BS.. the Pentagon is still acting under Obama, ..period..

---
Online headline/story: "Rockettes told to 'tolerate intolerance' in secretly recorded meeting with management *  MSG executive chairman James Dolan told the Rockettes they were expected to tolerate intolerance during a meeting about the dance group's performance at Donald Trump's inauguration. *  According to the publication, one of the dancers said to Dolan, "I mean, it just sounds like you're asking us to be tolerant of intolerance. * Dolan responded: "Yeah, in a way, I guess we are doing that... What other choices do we have? What else would you suggest?" *  The advice to tolerate intolerance came after Dolan complained, "I find it a little ironic–I get all of these emails, too, from people saying, 'Don't perform for this hateful person.' And then they proceed to spew out this diatribe of hate." *  Doland reportedly asked, "How can they be your friends if they're not tolerant of a different opinion?"" -- "How can they be your friends if they're not tolerant of a different opinion"? Hmmm...Doland nailed liberalism and it's solidified base of bigotry... and numbed minds.

Online headline: "Famed designer goes to war with his Instagram followers after praising Melania Trump" -- What James Dolan said above,  "How can they be your friends if they're not tolerant of a different opinion"? Hmmm...Doland nailed liberalism and it's solidified base of bigotry... and numbed minds.

---
Gretchen Carlson.. and now Megan Kelly are now at NBC, and Greta Van Susteren at MSNBC.. Now, if Shepard Smith goes to CNN, and Juan Williams is just canned, Fox News can really live uo=p to it's "fair and balanced"claims.

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "The new Congress got to work and a whole lot of Americans got to Googling. There was a massive spike in searches for, "who is my representative?" -- Good grief..the elections are not 2-months old, and there are people who don't know who represents them...I can only imagine they are liberals...hmmm.. see Trump is already Making America Great Again.. liberals are wanting to know their representatives.. again

---
Glad to see the Bush43 family is joining the Clintons and Carters at the inauguration... liberals are less likely to get violent when their gods are present.

---
Online headline: "UN follows up settlement vote with 'blacklist' plan for Israeli companies" -- Hey, Jewish Democrats.. had enough yet?

---
Online story: " MONTGOMERY, Ala. –  The national president of the NAACP and five others were arrested after staging a sit-in Tuesday at the Alabama office of Sen. Jeff Sessions, the nominee for U.S. attorney general, the civil rights group said. * The organization held the demonstration to protest Sessions' nomination by President-elect Donald Trump, criticizing Sessions' record and views on civil rights, immigration, criminal justice reform, and voting rights enforcement. * "We have an attorney general nominee who does not acknowledge the reality of voter suppression while mouthing faith in the myth of voter fraud," NAACP President Cornell William Brooks said by phone earlier in Tuesday's protest." -- "does not acknowledge the reality of voter suppression "? Good grief.. there are more people of all colors registered to vote now than in any past time frame... It was not Trump's nor Session's "fault" that so many refused to vote for Hellary in November... well, unless you consider that minority voters actually heard and responded to Trump's plea of "what have you got to lose?"

A healthcare expert on Fox hit the nail on the head last night..he said hospitals aren't giving out prices based on costs, but depending on what insurance policy you have.. this is wrong..in fact, it's illegal due to federal laws on the books since Ford was president in the mid-70s. The law specifically says no one can charge different prices to different people.

---
Why is mainscream media on Trump's case about Putin...Obama and Hellary tried the "Reset Button" diplomacy in 2009, and in 2012, Obama laughed at Romney's assertion that Russia was our biggest world problem.

---
Chicago has had a handgun ban since 1982... you would think liberals would realize that there would be better gun control if guns were legal and sales primarily handled through licensed operators.

---
Why is mainscream.media focusing on Russia trying to influence our election? The only known proof of government election influencing was Obama's intrusion in Israel's election to replace Netanyahu.

---
Our justice system needs to toughen up ..Dylan Roof does not need a hearing to determine his fate.. he simply needs to be taken to the nearest Veterinarian and "put down" like the cur dog he is... tomorrow wouldn't be soon enough.

---
Trump has hit a nerve with GM on its Cruz hatchback..GM said it's not selling this model back into America so it shouldn't be taxed..but then GM admitted that it actually does sell "a few" here..That so, all those produced in Mexico should be taxed..it's not fair that other makers who have manufactured models here are disadvantaged in selling theirs here and abroad.
---
Hmmm..it doesn't take much to understand that Columbus is the most litigious city in Columbus when you see all the Atlanta based law firms competing for clients...

---
You know, it was mainscream media and Hellary that tried to trip Trump up during the campaign and debates by getting him to commit to accepting the election results based on the election rules, yet it's mainscream media and Hellary who are claiming the Constitutional rules aren't fair. Maybe they should have read the rules.

---
Julian Assange states unequivocally that Russia is not the source nor involved in his information trail. Somehow, I find Assange more believable.. more credible than any DNC member.

---
Good Grief...DNC interim Chair Donna Brazile says Trump should allow ...even be made ..to provide a Democrat voice at his policy table..yeah..so she can provide questions/answers to our enemies?

---
A list of the Top 10 "most prosperous" countries is out.. the US did not make the cut...Not being so actually condemns the Obama/Hellary/Democrats claims that their policies work.

---
L-E story: "Among about a dozen potential gubernatorial candidates listed by an Atlanta Journal-Constitution political writer is Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson. * AJC political writer Greg Bluestein included Tomlinson among his list of potential candidates to succeed Gov. Nathan Deal, but listed her potential status as, “Don’t bet on it. She said she has no plans to seek higher office, adding that she’s the ‘full-time mayor of Columbus and that’s all I think about.’ -- "that's all I think about"? yeah, and most of those thought involved ways to penalize taxpayers and wasting money .. oh, and never forget her secret ID.. Mayor Tom-LYING-son.

L-E "headLIE": "Merger may cost McKoon his Senate Judiciary Committee chairmanship" -- Merger my butt!
I tell you what, in this day of politics, I'm impressed we have a representative that stands up against liberalism regardless of which party initiates/promotes it. Josh McKoon has my support.

---
L-E headline/story: "Portion of Chattahoochee River bank collapses, closing section of RiverWalk * “Right now, safety is our main concern,” said Vic Burchfield, vice president for information services for the Columbus Water Works, which is responsible for the RiverWalk." -- "safety is our main concern"? And rightfully so, but I do hope it's followed by concern for better repair construct .. not only at that point, but with area abutting it.
---
You know, I'm beginning to appreciate Trump's "tweets".. the spontaneous response just confirm Trump is his own man, and not sticking his finger in the air to see how mainscream media feels he should respond. Yes, it's nice to know we're gonna get a man back in the White House Oval Office.

From the "wag the dog" department: Vermont's governor is upset that a single unconnected Electric Company laptop has "Russian malware" on it, but seems ill-concerned that Vermont has some of the worse numbers when it comes to the amount of family income based on entitlement funds, and some of the worse refugee resettlement/illegal immigration numbers. Obviously, mainscream media is not ready to shape up.

From the "clarity, please" department - L-E headline/story: "SEVEN DEADLY SINS * How does Columbus rank among most sinful cities? * Wallethub ranked 150 American cities based on the so-called Seven Deadly Sins: anger/hatred, jealousy, excess vices, avarice, lust, vanity and laziness. * Columbus’ lowest, or worst, rankings came in the categories of jealousy (31st), laziness (52nd) and excess vices, such as drinking to excess (56th). We ranked highest, or less sinful, in anger/hatred (82nd), vanity (96th), lust (122nd) and dead last at 150th in avarice.* Avarice was based on the amount of charitable giving. Worcester, Mass., is the stingiest and Salt Lake City is the most charitable." -- "Salt Lake City is the most charitable.. . wait minute.. how can Columbus be the 150th of 150  positions if Salt Lake City is the most charitable of the 150? I tell you what though, if there is any "weakness" in Columbus's charitable gifting, it's not  because of the many Charitable Foundations that we have..

L-E editorial headline/conteny: "EDITORIAL * Lottery overdue for overhaul? * As reported this week in the Athens Banner-Herald, Georgia is second among all state-run lotteries in ticket sales per capita. But the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts reports that the percentage of lottery revenue put back into the two education programs it funds — the HOPE program and prekindergarten -- has been in steady decline in recent years. * The constitutional amendment approved by voters in 1992 stipulated that the lottery was to turn over, “as nearly as practical,” 35 percent of its proceeds to those programs. In FY 2016, that it was 25.5 percent. It has not, according to the audit, met the 35 percent mark in 20 years." -- As much as Zell Miller
would want this to be an ongoing legacy.. it has failed. College education costs are up, lottery scholarships are 30% lower than they should be, high school achievement test scores are down, pre-K should never have become a part of this, and colleges are excessively staffed to accommodate remedial student course,

L-E story: "Central High School baseball coach Bobby Howard, formerly of Columbus High School, will be inducted into the National High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame." -- Good grief.. Bobby so deserves this well-earned honor.. too bad the MCSD cannot share in the glory, at it was so short-sighted and ran Bobby off to Central High across the river. Congrats, Bobby!
