I was surprised at a moment when General Mattis appeared at Trump's parade review stand.. He had just been confirmed/sworn in as our new Secretary of Defense shortly before this. What caught me off guard is how adaptable Mattis proved himself.. when a military element of the parade appeared, Trump, our Commander-in Chief, snapped out a strong military salute to the troops, and General Mattis, though fuly entitled in my book to do the same, properly placed his right hand over his heart. His new job is one on a civilian. Like I said, I was impressed.. I guess it's because my neighborhood has a number of retired military officers..including two generals, and one of them doesn't understand that when he retired to civilian life, he no longer has the right to "play general" within the neighborhood.

I may have to moderate my opinion of Congressman Bishop..Not only did he do the "BisKit BoyS" thing by doing the right thing by showing up for the inauguration, and he wore a red hat and tie that matched Trump's tie.
Speaking of the "BisKit BoyS", one member was participating in the swearing in ceremony.. Justice Clarence Thomas were awarded our "BisKit BoyS Inspirational Attitude Award" and given a lifetime membership, and if George H. W. Bush had been able to be there, the "BisKit BoyS" would have had TWO members involved.
