Online story: "Vice President Joe Biden has revealed that U.S. intelligence officials had informed him and President Obama about the existence of an unsubstantiated dossier on Donald Trump. * And he eventually said, "It surprised me in that it made it to the point where the agency, the FBI thought they had to pursue it.""-- "FBI thought they had to pursue it."? Good grief.. the FBI felt compelled to pursue unsubstantiated tabloid trash, but didn't feel it needed to follow up on Hellary even though she was holding a "smoking gun"? Hurry January 20TH Trump's first tow words should be directed to Comey, "YOU'RE FIRED!"

---
Online story: "Obama administration has alarmed privacy advocates by significantly weakening rules that prevent the troves of raw data collected about American citizens by the National Security Agency's dragnet surveillance programs from being shared by other U.S. agencies. * The changes will allow the incoming Trump administration to more easily use the spy agency's unfiltered foreign intelligence data against American citizens, encouraging intelligence analysts to send anything thought to be evidence of a domestic crime to the FBI, Drug Enforcement Agency, and others." -- Mainscream media is worried about Trump? Good grief, Obama has done this and has one week to glean all the info he can. Hey Congress, there's still time for impeachment of Obama!

---
Online story: "It's not that his current fleet of limousines aren't particularly up to par, but as president-elect, the Department of Homeland Security says Trump will be due for an upgrade come Inauguration Day. * The "Cadillac One," his future limousine, will debut on Jan. 20, replacing a string of limos that President Obama has had since 2009 * the presidential limousine, also dubbed "The Beast," is estimated to ring in at up to $1.5 million." -- Hmmm.. wanna bet the next one comes in at half that price or lower?

---
From the "how does he know... really know" department - HuffPOOPOO story: "Obama, during his tenure commuted the sentences of more than 1,000 inmates serving sentences for nonviolent drug crimes. " -- You know, unless Obama spent an inappropriate amount of time that he should have been looking out for the BEST interest of America, how does he know the sentences he commuted were really for non-violent drug crimes. DA's consistently drop parts of investigations in order to get a plea bargain for lesser aspects of the crimes criminals they are convicted of, and the violent aspect, especially if it's not "concrete" which of several criminals did what, is the one that gets dropped the most.

Online story: "Senator Jeff Sessions, the Alabama Republican nominated for attorney general, came under sharp attack from black leaders Wednesday over his record on minorities, as Representative John Lewis of Georgia, a luminary of the civil rights movement, charged that he could set back racial progress by decades.
*  “We need someone as attorney general who’s going to look out for all of us, and not just some of us,” Mr. Lewis, a Democrat, told the Senate Judiciary Committee on the second and final day of testimony for Mr. Sessions’s nomination." -- "going to look out for us all"? Good grief.. the two Attorney Generals appointed by Obama were the picks of a man who brought his racist attitude to the forefront when he chastised white Boston police officers for doing their duty in investigating a call at a black Harvard professor's home, and altered the death of Trayvon Martin by referencing George Zimmerman as "white" when he was Latino. Oh, and how did Loretta Lynch "look after us all" by meeting Bill Clinton privately during the investigation of Hellary? And, how did James Comey "look after us all" by conducting Hellary's interview with out her being sworn in or recorded? Oh, maybe Representative Lewis has his own "shaded" glasses when he's looking at who he considers "us all".

---
Not only were Booker's, Lewis's et al's "testimony" at the Senate confirmation hearings for AG to be Jeff Sessions hearsay/opinion, and none were cross-examined. Absolute injustice, and the Senate/House should charge them with actions unbecoming a US Senator. and brought before the Ethics Committee.

---
Oh, by the way, Representative Lewis was not fully truthful of Sessions.. Just as Mr. Lewis was about to testify, Trump transition team members circulated photographs showing Mr. Sessions and Mr. Lewis marching together over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma to commemorate the 50th anniversary of a confrontation there between civil rights marchers and the police.

You know, if the US Attorney General does his/her job to uphold the US Constitution,  the job requires vigilance to insure that ONLY verified citizens of the US cast a vote.

---
Online headline: "George Soros lost nearly $1B in weeks after Trump election" -- Couldn't be more appropriate for such a prick.

---
Online headline: "Obama's dog Sunny reportedly bites White House guest" -- What's not said is that the "guest" was white and whether Sunny would be charged with a racist hate crime.

---
Online headline/story: "Georgia cop says 'Black Lives Matter' was scrawled across doughnut box * Authorities in Georgia, along with Krispy Kreme officials, said Thursday they were investigating a blog report that police officer found the words “Black Lives Matter” written on his doughnut box when he went to pick them up." -- Hmmm... wonder if it was a Krispy Kreme tore owned by Hank Aaron...

There's need for Republicans to repeal OObamaCRAP on day 1..even the first 100 days. The bill to present to Trump is one to repeal the punitive tax .. that way, we would really see whether working people are buying OObamaCRAP  because it's a "good deal" or whether they felt coerced by the mandatory penalty tax.

Talk about extraordinary greed in education, my middle daughter e-mailed me that she owed $60.00 on her CSU tuition account. ..a Graduation Fee..I tell you what, I think CSU ought to be sending a Limo to pick up her mother and me as a courtesy for paying the other $1,000.00ish "fees" each semester instead of billing us for her completing her requirements for graduating.

From the "why there are problems in the MCSB" department..today is Friday.. Friday the 13th, too,  and I went on the MCSD web page to get the e-mail addresses for the newly sworn in members of the Board. Naturally, the web site still has the old board members still there. Is this the best we can get from a budget that exceeds the City's?

From the "Liberals are proud of their ignorance" department - HuffPOOPOO "headline/story": "Alabama Wins Electoral College, Declared National Champion *  In accordance with its constitution, the College Football Playoff Foundation declared Alabama the National Champions late last night, after the team led Clemson at the end of three of the four quarters, thus winning the electoral votes of those quarters." -- Good grief.. liberals are the victims of the education system they created.. it's not just an issue of them not reading the rules of events to know them, but whether they even know how to read at all. History is full of examples of how a government or despot kept its subject in line by not allowing them to learn to read, making it easier for such tyrannical entities to make up "rules" as they went along based on what suited then at the moment.

From the "Worth every second of the minute and 14 seconds to watch modern conservatism defined" department: " http://www.angrypatriotmovement.com/senator-defines-conservatism/ "

You know, with Democrats getting their balloon burst in November, you'd think there would be only one direction they could go...up..but no, Democrats in the Senate confirmations hearings for Sessions has shown that even in a hole, Democrats are digging down even deeper.. and I'm OK with them doing so, and am looking forward to the 2018 elections.

Online story: "Legalizing casino gambling in Georgia would have significant negative consequences the General Assembly should consider before putting the issue on the statewide ballot, according to a new study. * The study, a followup to a report downtown Atlanta business organization Central Atlanta Progress published last summer, concluded that proceeds from casinos would give the state an additional source of tax revenue. * However, most gambling income would come from local residents – not tourists – and would reduce the amount both locals and visitors spend at existing entertainment and retail businesses, the study found." -- and what was not said was that $1.00 slots would cannibalize $1.00 Lottery ticket purchases...and even if the Casinos "donated a portion of their winnings TO the lottery, the lottery would have a tremendous shortfall..and nothing was even mentioned about crime increase

L-E story: "Heckler & Koch, a manufacturer of firearms and accessories, will invest $28.5 million to expand its existing operations in Columbus, the company announced Thursday." -- Wow! Guess the election of Trump, and Tom-LYING-son leaving in 2 years really has businesses pumped up!

---
L-E editorial headline: "EDITORIAL * Deal focuses on right priorities" -- Yes.. and education is a big priority.. but I don't understand how the L-E can support statewide improvement but supported the existing board members in the past elections.

---
L-E headline/story: "Pay gap between college grads and others at a record * WASHINGTON * Americans with no more than a high school diploma have fallen so far behind college graduates in their economic lives that the earnings gap between college grads and everyone else has reached its widest point on record." -- What a condemnation of GA eliminating the "graduation test", and our local board allowing previously unqualified to graduate students to get a diploma post-graduation. It's an absolute shame.. no an full blooded atrocity that our school system sends "graduates" out with lack of basic understanding of the tools they need to not only get jobs, but to be able to advance in them.

Mrs. NATALIA NAMAN TEMESGEN is an absolute star.. a breath of fresh air in writings published by the L-E. I'm also thrilled to learn she is a professor at CSU.. my daughter had her for a class, and I found that Mrs. Temsegen was as balanced in her teachings as she is in her commentaries in the L-E.
