It's Monday., January 9, 2017.. mainscream media will be will entertain itself looking for way to stick it to Trump so Obama's peccadilloes might go on unnoticed, but MainSteam America is thinking National Championship!
---
Online story: "The gun believed to have been used by the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, airport shooter to kill five people and wound six more is the same weapon that was once taken away from him because of his mental state, sources told NBC News on Sunday." -- Wait a minute.. the (_*_) was "known" to the FBI to have ISIS issues, had a "mental issue" tag in his record, and was given back his gun and was NOT put on the "no fly" list? We either have a real problems in the depths of the FBI/DOJ/DHS, or it is a problem in the FBI/DOJ/DHS that will be cured as soon as all Obama appointees and their "hires" are swept out.

Oh, and the FBI/DOJ still maintains Hellary isn't guilty.. yeah, right... in their eyes..

America doesn't have a problem with Russian "hackers", America has a problem with Obama-appointed "hacks"!

---
Online headline: "Suspected Fort Lauderdale airport shooter charged, faces possible death penalty" -- Good grief... "May"? First, the (_*_) should have been dead when he was taken from the airport, but... BUT.. there should be NO "may" when anyone has committed first degree mass murder!

---
HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Major Celebrities attend Obama's farewell bash * LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - George and Amal Clooney, Paul McCartney, and Meryl Streep were among the celebrities who trekked to Washington, D.C., on Friday for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama's farewell celebration at the White House. * spotted arriving at the White House for the late-evening event, along with Gloria Estefan, Magic Johnson, Anna Wintour, Bradley Cooper, Harvey Weinstein, Lorne Michaels, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Kelly Rowland, Tracee Ellis Ross, David Letterman, Gloria Estefan, Tyler Perry, Robert De Niro, Jon Hamm, Ken Burns, Stevie Wonder, Al Roker, Chris Rock, and Lena Dunham. "  -- I imagine there are a lot of noses out of joint,, especially since Gloria Estefan got mentioned twice and you'd never know that Jerry Seinfeld was in attendance. Oh.. and there was no mention of any mainstream American "deplorables and irredeemables" being invited.  Looks like Obama showed his cl(_*_).

---
Online headline: "10 Jobs That May Actually Boom in President Donald Trump’s America" -- Well looking at "the list".. (construction, civil liberties lawyers, law enforcement, military, media, Therapists, Cyber Security, Non-Profits, Artists, and Bartenders/Brewers) they will naturally recover just from getting liberalism out of Washington.. but one of these jobs probably peaked in the Obama era.. Civil Liberties Lawyers.. now they probably will suffer now that Trump is in control of upholding our Constitution and appointing judges to do so also..on the other hand.. Therapists are gonna soar.. just look at the doom and gloom portrayed by liberals and colleges in general!

---

Rand Paul..says he can't support tax cuts that deepen our debt.. Good grief, he surely didn't stop any of the "continuing resolutions" that added $9 TRILLION dollars in debt, nor stood his ground or making Obama submit a balanced budget.

---
A Fox contributor nailed Obama! She said, "Obama wants to go out in a flame of SELF glory".

---
In a Saturday interview at the Ft Lauderdale airport, some idiot said they had 175 witnesses and 11 videos to exam.. Good grief, what matter is it that there are 175 witnesses and 11 videos plus 20,000 items to category to get back to people. If the police simply had shot the (_*_) when he was walking around ignoring police orders, this would be over!

---
Online headline/story: "Jimmy Carter Is Calling Obama An Incompetent Loser! * It’s been a disastrous couple of weeks for President Barack Obama. His signature legislation, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, is a slow-motion train wreck. His poll numbers have tanked. * Now, things have gotten so bad for Obama that former president Jimmy Carter has called President Obama incompetent in the family friendly pages of Parade magazine. * “He’s done the best he could under the circumstances,” Carter said of Obama in an interviewed published on Thursday. “His major accomplishment was Obamacare, and the implementation of it now is questionable at best.” --  Hmmm .. sorta a modern analogy of Shakespeare's Caesar as he looked into the eyes of knife-wielding Brutus.."the most unkindest cut of all"

---

L-E headline/story: "GEORGIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY * Casino gambling a legislation hot topic as session begins *  “There is no question casinos will be a big issue,” said Rep. Richard Smith, R-Columbus. “I know a bunch of companies have hired a bunch of lobbyists.” * “There are two questions that have to be answered here,” Smith said. “First: ‘Do we want casinos in Georgia to begin with?’ Then, if that passes, we have to ask, ‘What model do we want?’” -- "two questions that have to be answered"? No, Richard, there is a least one more question that NEEDS to be answered.."Does Columbus want a representative that knows so many lobbyists!

From the same story above: Our legislative delegation mentioned it's concerns about Casinos...Smith said he was concerned about how many casinos would be built, Pezold says he's concerned about whether a casino would hurt entertainment at the Springer, River Center and the Columbus Symphony. Hugley is concerned about where revenue created by casino gambling would "flow" (her pockets?) Good grief.. are any of our representatives concerned about CRIME!

Obviously VERY Low-Info-Voter's "soundoff": " This newspaper has reported that the current budget of the Sheriff’s Office is $27.5 million. Hopefully, you will report if it goes up or down in the next four years and why it changed." -- $27,500,000.00 ?  Good grief.. it's bad enough our newspaper doesn't "watchdog" our government entities, but giving out "misinformation" just compounds the issues and problems. Sadly, some of our local judges stated that it takes $50,000.00 per year to house a single prisoner as the judges campaigned for better funding for alternative courts, which would mean that the Sheriff's Office budget SHOULD be $50,000,000.00 since an average of a 1,000 prisoners are incarcerated daily, but Darr was having to sue the Mayor for underfunding his listed budget needs. Guess the "soundoffer" doesn't realize that the Mayor's budget was for about the $2.75 million (vs Sheriff Office's needs of about $4 Million ( about 8% of what judges think it should be funded for) Now, we will have to stay diligent that the Mayor Tom-LYING-son's "handpicked" replacement doesn't let  budget restrictions put us in legal jeopardy with court and federal mandates.

---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "In 1964, President Lyndon B. Johnson, in his State of the Union address, declared an “unconditional war on poverty in America.”.. well, 53 years and $22 TRILLION dollars later, maybe Trump can engage a "surge" and take care of all the Democratic Party boondoggles. Obviously, it seems, that Democrats don't understand the desired end results when they engage in "war".

---
L-E headline: "Judge denies bail for 4 charged with hate crime - Chicago" -- Good grief.. first, bail shouldn't have been considered for such for the (_*_)s, but the judge could have helped get by this by "denying" them "oxygen"!

---
From Columbus Council Agenda:

CLERK OF SUPERIOR COURT PERSONNEL: Approval is requested to hire two assistant chief deputy clerks above Step C. The stated positions are vacant and will be at a salary of $52,413.40, Pay Grade 18-J. The Clerk of Superior Court has funding in its budget to support this request and it will be effective on Jan. 10, 2017. * The new hire of two assistant chief deputy clerk positions which are currently vacant will aid in the transition, effective and efficient operation of the Clerk of Superior Court Office." -- Hmmm.. a new, inexperienced Superior Court Clerk wants to hire 2 assistant deputies... Council better closely scrutinize proposed candidates resumes .. how does an in-experienced Superior Court Clerk even know what her duties will entail or her needs for assistance?
-
COLUMBUS FIRE AND EMS — INOPERABLE SCHOOL BUSES MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING: Approval is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Muscogee County School Board to accept transfer ownership of two inoperable school buses. Columbus Department of Fire and EMS will use the buses in future school bus extrication training. There is a $500 towing fee to have the buses moved and funds are currently available in the Fire and EMS Medical Services Budget." -- Excuse me.. but why does the City have to pay for MCSD "junk".. The MCSD should be thrilled it can get rid of inoperable equipment by delivering it at the MCSD expense to an area the CFD chooses.

Scope of the project includes removal and replacement of three bridges over Lindsey Creek in Columbus. The bridges are located on Melrose Drive, Boxwood Boulevard, and Decatur Street. The bridges will have to be constructed consecutively as detours for each bridge will have to use the others. -- Hmmm.. and just where is the Waterford Road bridge in this mix?
-

Wait a minute, isn't that the Columbus Water Works Park that the CWW should be responsible for?

WTVM story: "COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Governor Nathan Deal has announced a list of Georgia schools that will receive the Highest Performing or Greatest Gains school awards and a list of 'chronically failing' schools, including schools in Muscogee County.
There are 53 districts that will receive the Highest Performing award, which was an increase of 31 schools from 2016.
A list of chronically failing schools has been released, which includes 153 schools in 35 districts, which is an increase of 26 schools since last year.
Here is a list of chronically failing schools in Muscogee County:
Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School
Dorothy Height Elementary School
Baker Middle School
Forrest Road Elementary School
Davis Elementary School
South Columbus Elementary School
Eddy Middle School
The following Muscogee County Schools will receive the Greatest Gain Award:
Aaron Cohn Middle School Silver
Blackmon Road Middle School Gold
Britt David Magnet Academy Platinum
North Columbus Elementary School Bronze
Northside High School Bronze
The following Muscogee County schools will receive the Highest Performing Award:
Britt David Magnet Academy Platinum
Columbus High School Silver

Hmmm.. you know, every school in every category should have the names of the MCSB representative is in charge, and the names of the current principals and length of time there. It would be incentive for the personnel at all categories of schools.

---
L-E "headLIE": "COMMENTARY - CSU changed corner of Broadway and 12th" -- Well.. more like "bailed out" the Columbus L-E which has failed Columbus.

---
L-E guest COMMENTARY: Reminders that war didn’t destroy goodness * BY WILLIAM B. CAREY * Philadelphia Inquirer" -- What an appropriate subject on the 53rd Anniversary of LBJ declaring "War on Poverty"  While "war" doesn't destroy goodness it doesn't create UTOPIA either.

Online headline/story: "Trump lashes out at 'Meet the Press' for editing Kellyanne Conway's interview *
The clip aired on Sunday and the network also posted a link to the full interview, which Trump retweeted from his account, reports The Hill. * Trump tweeted, "Kellyanne Conway went to @MeetThePress this morning for an interview with @chucktodd. Dishonest media cut out 9 of her 10 minutes. Terrible!" * Conway noted during her 'Meet the Press' appearance, in part, "...there is no evidence that Russia succeeded in any alleged attempt to disrupt our democracy or in fact influence the election results." -- Hmmm.. but I guess we have CLEAR evidence that "Meet The Press" desire to seek the truth has been "hacked" by liberals.

---
Online story: "A Palestinian who may be linked to ISIS rammed his speeding truck into a group of Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem Sunday, killing four people and wounding 15 others before being shot dead in one of the deadliest attacks in a year-long campaign of violence, Israeli police said." -- Okay, Obama...are you happy... yet? Anymore "exits strategies" before the Americans change the security codes at the White House?

---
Loved "LA LA Land"! As a bonus, the ending demonstrates the overall flakiness of Life in Hollywood.. everything can be different... depending on the stroke of a script pen.  Sorta "Hollywood Life" imitating Obama's Executive Order pen.. if you don't like a law or Constitutional Amendment, just re-write it.

---
Reading about Jimmy Fallon's jabs at Trump during the Golden Globe (haven't yet, and don't ever plans to watch them) just show's America is on it's way to be great again.. white comedians no longer have to be politically correct at satirizing the president.

---
From the "the problem with liberalism is that they actually don't have anything worthwhile to do so they make up "good intentions" things to do" department - Online story: "the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a health advocacy watchdog organization, has sued Coca-Cola alleging that the soda giant has been purposefully misleading the public about the health risks associated with sugary beverages, Business Insider reported. * "Each year, Coca-Cola reaps huge profits from the sale of its sugar-sweetened beverages," the lawsuit filed last week states." -- Good grief.. maybe if Coca Cola left the original "codeine aspect" in it, liberals would find "redeeming grace" in it.

---
Business stupid (may even be a college professor) LIV's L-E "soundoff": "So Donald Delusional is going to make businesses pay for outsourcing? I wonder who they'll pass the cost on to? You?" -- Good grief.. Have colleges stopped students from having to take Econ 101 sometime in their journey? Businesses are controlled by what the consumer thinks is a good buy for their money.. and idiots like this "soundoff" writer have no clue as to what "outsourcing" is about.. no company does such to make their product cheaper, they do so to increase their margins, so they can pay the mid-to-upper management levels huge bonuses. Now companies will either have to control internal expenses better or cut back on their excessive bonus plans.
---
L-E story: "The audit of the University System of Georgia found the average cost of college attendance increased 77 percent, from $8,361 to $14,791 per year, between 2006 and 2015. Much of the increase owes to slashes to higher education funding and reductions to the HOPE Scholarship by the Legislature" -- Yeah, and the primary cause is the $1,000-$1,100 dollar per semester "fee schedule" especially the "athletic fee" which makes other students/parents pay for scholarships for other students, and the highest, "university fee" which is an undocumentable, unaccountable number pulled out of the air with zero controls on how the universities use the revenue. And the meal and dormitory plans! What a ripoff.. to the students, their parents, and any loan originators.
---
You know, why is mainscream media so pointed in it's desire to affiliate Trump with Russia when it went out of it's way to avoid associating Barack Hussein Obama with his Muslim father/stepfather, early up Muslim upbringing, and denial of calling ISIS attacks as Islamic terrorism?
---

L-E's "LATE LAUGHS * WE'RE A LITTLE over two weeks from Trump's inauguration … everybody who's anybody is going to be there, except for anybody. * Stephen Colbert" -- Good grief.. narcissism is the religion of the entertainment world... and they don't even recognize themselves in the mirror they always have their eye on.
