I tell you what..it boils down to this.... it's nice.. no, GREAT, to have a president who isn't concerned about offending people, especially establishment politicians and mainscream media, who don't have the best interests of America's future in their hearts.

---
Online story: "Several journalists who were arrested while covering the unrest during President Donald Trump's inauguration now face felony charges. * at least six members of the media have been charged with felony rioting. If convicted, they could be sentenced to up to 10 years behind bars and face a $25,000 fine. * none of the journalists' arrest warrants have specific allegations of individual wrongdoing. * Instead, the documents refer to a large crowd "observed enticing a riot by organizing, promoting, encouraging and participating in acts of violence." -- "Freedom of the Press"... it's not only a tradition, it's an integral aspect of America's past and future.. BUT.. such freedom... and protection of such freedom, has responsibilities.. and too much of the "press" seems to have forgotten that they are to report the story.. report/record history.. not shape it to fit their personal agenda...

---
Online headline: "GM to cut 625 auto jobs in Canada, move to Mexico" -- Hmmm.. guess Canada's Justin Trudeau will ask Trump for some negotiating advice, and join Trump on reworking NAFTA... now, I hope Trump tells GM that they can't use US highways to transport those vehicles back to Canada without paying a "toll".

---
For the inauguration, a friend of ours took her tween-aged daughter to Washington to experience the Trump inauguration.. as they worked their way back towards their hotel, hey came close to one of the pro-Hellary protests.. one of the protesters came at them.. first seeing that "mom" could probably take care of herself, the protester did a "Teaberry Shuffle" to avoid her and spit on her daughter, and ran off. Even though her daughter was "dampened", their spirits were not. Thank God Hellary didn't WIN!

---
Whatta show.. whatta boost to the civil rights.. of the unborn.. White House support!

---
From the "who?" department - Online headline: "Dave Cl(_*_)rke will not play in the U.S. while Donald Trump is president" -- Good grief.. first I thought this was the Dave Clark of the 60's group, "The Dave Clark 5".. and that if he wasn't dead yet, he'd probably die before Trump leaves office in 8 years.. then I found out this "Dave Cl(_*_)rke" is some rinky English DJ, and no one out side a pro-Hellary protest group would hire him to come to the US. I hope Trump just adds Cl(_*_)rke's name to the "no Visa" list.

---
Trump is really turning Washington around, and a lot politicians aren't happy..Fortunately, "we" are going to get a chance every two years to weed those politicians out.

---
Online story: "On Friday President Donald Trump called the media's reporting, or lack thereof, on the annual March for Life, an antiabortion rally, "not fair." Trump argued that the coverage of the pro-life event pales in comparison to what the Women's March received during inauguration weekend. Well, it seems Trump and his administration is going to do something about that. Trump's White House is set to have quite the presence at Friday's March for Life rally in Washington D.C., with both the Vice President of the United States Mike Pence and Kellyanne Conway, Trump's senior counselor, delivering speeches at the pro-life rally." -- What a difference leadership makes!

---
Online headline: "President Trump says military more important than balanced budget" -- Amen.. and it's Trump's Constitutional duty to make sure America is safe from all terrorists.. foreign and domestic!

---
What is it about mainscream media that they cannot understand that a wall between the US and Mexico is not all about stopping illegal aliens, but also about stopping the free flow of drugs crossing from Mexico? The illegal drugs also killing Americans

---
Hmmm..you know..if a "border tax" is imposed, it doesn't mean Americans would pay more as consumers. Companies in Mexico and stores in America would have to weigh consumer response, and probably have to reduce their wholesale prices to compensate for the added tax costs in order to compete for American consumer dollars. What it will do is make companies weigh whether they may have to return to (or enter) America and start making their products (thus creating American jobs) here.

From the "who'da believed it" department - Jason Day, Tiger Woods, and Dustin Johnson were playing partners for the 1st and 2nd rounds of The Farmers Insurance Open  at Torrey Pines. None of them made the cut. Las Vegas musta cleaned up!

---
From a fellow BCer - From the "a picture says a 1000.. 10,000 words" department - I call this "Trumped... AGAIN!"

---
L-E headline: "COLUMBUS 2025 _ Leaders unveil 5-step plan to curb poverty, grow economy" -- Hmm... smart group..smart enough to plan on Tom-LYING-son being GONE soon so things can actually get done.

---
L-E headline: "VICTORY DRIVE * State lawmaker Gerald Greene shot behind Columbus adult cinema * BY MIKE OWEN" -- You know, when the L-E first reported this story online on Thursday,  and said Greene had been shot at a gas station, I commented to my bride that the reporter was :Ben Wright.. and that Ben Wright has "never been right".. he's still 100 for 100

From this above story: " (Greene) was carrying several thousand dollars in cash meant for storm victims in his south Georgia district during the shooting. Greene’s district was ravaged by tornadoes last weekend. President Donald Trump has granted assistance for six counties that were severely damaged by the storms, Gov. Nathan Deal said." -- Wait a minute.. since when does government aid get paid in cash, and politicians "hand deliver" it?

---
Wanna bet State Rep Greene was one of those glad to see Josh McKoon removed from the Ethics Committee?

---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": "President Trump’s staff and family are registered to vote in more than one state. I guess this proves Trump’s pronouncements about voter fraud." -- Just another case of a lib making up facts.. Now there is obvious "fraud" here.. Why would the L-E publish this ...

---

L-E headline/story: "COLUMBUS * Police release details of Macon Road wreck that killed 22-year-old woman * Columbus police said a truck driver failed to yield in the Thursday afternoon crash where his tractor-trailer collided with a motorcycle on Macon Road, killing 22-year-old Cindy Tran Huynh." -- Yu know.. tragic is as tragic happens.. having been an avide bicycle rider in younger days, my first responsibility was to myself.. knowing trucks and cars were bigger and harder than me, I pretty much conceded that I would ride defensively and be more observant because bicycles (motorcycles, too) are smaller, less noticeable that other motorized vehicles. I also remember a ditty by maternal grandfather, Papa Armentrout used to sing to us when we were in Goldsboro, NC.. He'd belt out.. "This is the story of Johnny B. Ray, who died observing his right of way.. he was right, dead right, as he drove along, but he's just as dead as if he'd been wrong". I cannot tell you how many times his advice has saved me from a wreck. I wish Ms Huynh had had the opportunity to listen to him sing.
