President Donald Trump fired the federal government's top lawyer Sally Yates on Monday after she took the extraordinarily rare step of defying the White House. Just wish Holder and Lynch had been fired as well  for the same thing.. putting personal agenda ahead of the Constitution..
---
Breaking news.. Sally Yates is wanting to run for Attorney General in GA next election.. Good grief.. who wants an Attorney General who puts her personal agenda ahead of the Constitution!

WTVM 9 Story: "COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The crime rate has been the lowest in Columbus in over a decade, according to the city of Columbus. * In 2016, Columbus reported 10,571 crimes part-one crimes down 15 percent, or 1,821 crimes, from 2015." --  Wait a minute.. the violent crime of "robbery" is up.. doesn't make sense in this "report" .....I'd also like to know how many people are shot & wounded. We hear of so many incidents where "something was going on" and somebody was shot in the leg...other cities have associated such activity happening as a result of a bad drug deal/gang retaliation..yet we don't hear about anybody who gets wounded in the lower body being charged with drug or gang activities. This probably shows why crime activity is being reported as declining
Now if this chart is accurate, then there has been a 21% DECREASE in auto-thefts, and our car insurance for this year should reflect a considerable premium decrease as well. What figures do any of you insurance agents have that either confirm the cagrt or counter the information?

Online story: "Hundreds of civil rights and education groups released a letter to Senate lawmakers Monday opposing President Donald Trump's nomination of Betsy DeVos for education secretary, calling into question her ability to enforce federal education laws for low-income students and students of color. * "When compared with secretaries of education throughout the history of the department, DeVos' lack of experience stands out," says the letter, signed by nearly 250 national, state and local civil rights and education groups. "She has never been an educator or worked directly with children and families in public schools. She has never led a school, district or state agency tasked with educating students. She has never been a public school parent or a public school student. This lack of experience makes her uniquely unfamiliar with the challenges and opportunities facing the nation's students, families, educators and schools."Hundreds of civil rights and education groups released a letter to Senate lawmakers Monday opposing President Donald Trump's nomination of Betsy DeVos for education secretary, calling into question her ability to enforce federal education laws for low-income students and students of color."  -- You know.. actually, combined with her business success history, it's Devos's "lack of being molded in the ongoing educational failure shape" that makes her an exemplary choice to make a difference in the education system.. What mainscream media SHOULD ask is the representatives of education unions and civil rights groups is can they name any successes in education since Carter created the Department of Education.

Online headline: "Boy Scouts of America to begin accepting transgender boys" -- Good grief..I guess the Boy Scouts will hire Obama to rewrite the Boy Scouts' pledge as well.. "On my honor, I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight." will not be appropriate any longer.

From the "liberals' point of view" department - Online headline/story: "The price reduction for the latest batch of F-35's has been in the works prior to Trump's presidency *  And though it would appear that Trump — after publicly criticizing the crown jewel in the defense giant's portfolio — is the reason for the savings, the price reduction was in the works. * Rewinding the tape back to a December 19 briefing, Lt. Gen. Chris Bogdan, head of the F-35 Joint Program Office, said the price for LRIP-10 contract would be reduced "significantly." -- In the works prior"? "a December 19 briefing"? Let's see, the Election was November 8th, and Obama had 8 years to negotiate a better pricing for taxpayers .... but didn't, and mainsceam media is trying to imply that anybody but Trump had anything to do with getting Lockheed Martin looking at it's costing of the F-35.. Doesn't mainscream media realize it is no longer relevant?

Online headline: "Jenner flaunts bikini body on vacation".. Whew! Relax.. it wasn't Caitlyn....

---
From the "liberals pat themselves on the back over fake news" department -- HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Hitting the snooze button may mean you're more intelligent * According to a study published in the The Official Journal of the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences, people who hit the snooze button are more intelligent, creative and happier than those who don't." -- Since when is procrastination a sign of intelligence? To me, hitting the "snooze button" probably means you are suffering from to much wine or beer the night before.. and that ain't intelligence.

---
Online headline: "Here's who wins with Trump's order to slash regulations" -- In a word, "America!".

---
Online headline: "Trump ignites battle with media using just 2 words" -- Ooooops, my bad.. the 2 words weren't "You're FIRED".. FTR.. "opposition party".. and he's right on target!

---
Mainscream media is so use to presidents "floating balloons" that it has forgotten what a decisive leader is when it comes to decision making.. Go Trump.. stay 8 years!

New York City’s Mayor Bill de Blasio said in an interview Monday that he would categorize drunk driving “that doesn’t lead to any other negative outcome” a minor offense.

---
From the "lawyers are wringing heir hands in excitement" department -- Seattle has become the first (well, until there is a 2nd, the ONLY) city to open "safe spaces" for druggies to "shoot up".. Fresh needles will be provided as well as on site medical advisers. Can you not see the "cha-ching" when the first user ODs after shooting up there?

Sen Chuck Shmoozer, D-NY, says it's "unAmerican" to keep Islamist terrorists out of our country...Hmmm..hey, Shmoozer...most Americans agree that it's MORE unAmerican to allow Islamic jihadists in without vetting them!

---
Do the libs understand that when Hollywooders speak out at awards, that no one actually hears them ..or actually cares what they say/believe? Me, I just look for stories about which ones ranted what, and put those names on my "no see" list.

---
You know, if Obama had an "extreme vetting" program in effect, those 14 Americans killed in San Bernandino, CA would probably be alive today. The (_*_) would probably have been jailed or deported when vetting would have revealed the Hamas connection of his sham wife's family.

What was the purpose of the GA DOT meeting for 2 days of work last week, and today, it looks like the GA DOT has pulled out of the roundabout project at River Road/Bradley Park?  Has Council looked closer at the costs versus value and called it off?

L-E headline/story: "Sen. Josh McKoon announces he will not seek re-election in 2018 * McKoon has been a lightning rod in the General Assembly for the last six years. Bills with his name on them have not moved when they reached the House. He has had a running feud with Speaker David Ralston. He has also been at odds with Gov. Nathan Deal. For the last three years, McKoon has been a champion of religious freedom legislation. Last year, a version passed the General Assembly but was vetoed by Deal." -- the L-E feels McKoon has been "a lightning rod "? A "torch lighting the path of truth" is more like it.. If a politician is not supported by the L-E, then that's who we need in office.. the L-E supported Tom-LYING-son, Hellary, and the ongoing school board members in their last elections.. shows you how out-of-touch the L-E is when picking people to run the City, America, and our students education.

---
L-E headline: "Longtime Ledger Sports Editor Cecil Darby dies" -- RIP, Cecil! Not having to read the L-E anymore will be your just reward... Know that was torturous for someone who got out on the streets to find the stories rather than hang around the office waiting for something to drop in their laps.
