Online story: "Catalan police said on Friday the situation in Cambrils, south of Barcelona, was under control after they killed four attackers and left another wounded in an operation that followed Thursday's van attack in Barcelona. * Catalan emergency services said six civilians and a police officer had been injured in an attack in the town of Cambrils, which police said was linked to Thursday's Barcelona van attack that has so far left 13 dead. * They said that a bomb squad in Cambrils would carry out several controlled explosions after they determined that the attackers were carrying explosive belts." --  You know,"due vigilance" has become as or more important than "due diligence" in dealing with radical Islam..

Now Democrat spinmeisters are comparing Confederate Memorial Statues to statues of Saddam Hussein and Lenin being pulled down by their citizens after their despotic regimes were overthrown.

President Andrew Johnson..During his administration, post-Civil War Democrats enacted the Black Codes in the South, which were precursors to the Jim Crow laws they would implement in the 20th century. The Black Codes served to prevent freed slaves from actually experiencing the fullness of freedom.

President Woodrow Wilson - At Princeton, Wilson “maintained the university’s long-standing ban on admitting blacks, yet today, still, Princeton honors Wilson with a college named the "Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs".

President Franklin D. Roosevelt -  FDR issued Executive Order 9066 in February of 1942 which rounded up Japanese-Americans and imprisoned them in camps.. Oh, and FDR fired all the white servants in the White House so all the servants would look alike..

Lyndon Baines Johnson - MSNBC put it bluntly, “Lyndon Johnson said the [n-word] a lot.” While “discussing civil rights legislation with men like Mississippi Democrat James Eastland, who committed most of his life to defending white supremacy, Johnson simply called it  ‘the [n-word] bill.'” LBJ is honored with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove on the Potomac.

The message of “Please be Courteous Walk Your Wheels” is part of an effort to get bicyclists and skateboarders to walk instead of riding the sidewalks." --  Hmmm... I guess one man's spray painting on public property is for the public good while another man's spray painting public property is graffiti/vandalism... You know,, why not just pull a few of the "Distracted Driving Patrol", station them on downtown sidewalks and have them write tickets when bicyclists break the laws?

L-E headline: "Here are MCSD alternative education panel’s almost-official recommendations" -- Under the circumstances the MCSB has subjected itself, having this and other citizen committees has become a necessity, yet, the same could be accomplished if the MCSB actually did what the public thinks is the job of the MCSB,, to monitor and hold the Superintendent directly accountable to the Board for what goes on (or doesn't go on) within the School System.. or let's just return to an appointed MCSB and have the Superintendent face  an up/down accountability vote of confidence after 4 years and every 2 years after that.

L-E story: "A changing leisure market has prompted the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau to take a hard look at what types of travelers it will seek to attract in the future, and how it will go about doing it. * while the adrenaline rush that adventure trips such as whitewater rafting and zip lines offer is unique, there also needs to be an additional focus on “softer” things to do."  --  It's wonderful to toot one's horn and get visitors excited about one-time experiences but when visitors storm into Columbus' downtown area via 2nd Ave, Veterans Parkway, or Victory Drive, Columbus is not likely get benefit long term. Those three entries into the heart of the City are filled with too many unattractive eyesores that hardly invite entertainment oriented visitors to want to stick around to see how fine our city actually is.

You know, as hard as the mainscream media and Democrat Party try to paint a picture that Trump was elected by Neo-Nazis and KKK members, and in spite that their numbers are miniscule ( at worst, some high 4 or low 5 figure number), mainscream media cannot point to where these hate group affected any previous election, and we know for sure that none of them voted for Obama or Bill Clinton.
