Online headline/story: "Mom says police turned "blind eye" to son's death at home of Democratic donor * The mother of a man who died after apparently overdosing at the West Hollywood apartment belonging to prominent Democratic donor Ed Buck told KTLA that there is more to the story behind the death. *  At the apartment owned by Buck, neighbors confirmed seeing several young black men come and go at all hours of the night." -- "Democratic donor"?  How about Democrat. ... racial predator....period...

One of the "facts" that doesn't seem to catch mainscream media's attention is that of the Neo-Nazi groups in America...did a little browsing at the Southern Poverty Law Center site, and found it most interesting that a higher percentage number of states that voted for Hellary had active Neo-Nazi groups.. yes.. 16 of her 20 states had such groups... Amazingly.. California has 4 such groups, and Illinois has 5. but it gets even worse when you find out that Massachusetts has 3 as does New York, and even Bernie's commune of Vermont has 1. And get this California has 4 "Skinhead" groups, 4 KKK groups, 3 Holocaust Denial Groups, 7 White Nationalist groups, 2 Anti-Immigrant groups,and.. yes, 7 Anti-LGBT groups, 10 Anti-Muslim groups, 15 Black Separatist  groups, 13 General Hate groups, and even 1 Hate Music group..No wonder over 4,000,000 more Californians voted for Hellary!

Online headline: "Boy, 7, with autism captured on school surveillance video being dragged by 2 teachers" --- Oooops my bad, but my heart raced a bit when I heard it was in a county near Columbus... but it was Columbus OHIO, not Columbus, GA..

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Clay Aiken calls himself a 'f---ing dumbass' for defending Donald Trump" -- Hmm.. most Americans have called Aiken that for years.. mainly for him believing himself to be important.

L-E headline/story: "Local lawmaker wants to alter distracted driving law in wake of police stings *  Rep. John Pezold, a three-term Republican from Columbus, said he plans to introduce legislation in January that would modify state law being used in two recent distracted driving stings recently conducted by local police. * Under Georgia law, it is not illegal to talk on a cell phone, but you cannot text or email while in control of a motor vehicle. That includes if you are stopped at a traffic signal. * That’s the part of the law Pezold would like to see changed." --  Hmm,.... with Pezold, you have to wonder what's in it for him.. Not long ago, he was pushing for Uber not to have to charge/collect sales taxes. Later we learn that McDonald's is testing the use of Uber drivers in some areas to be "deliverers" for McDonald computer/phone orders. Now, as I understand the Uber business plan, Uber drivers cruise around and people wanting rides can see them on their "Uber App" and page them. Obviously, Uber drivers are going to be constantly "driving distracted", thus a target for police scrutiny.. Wonder if Pezold owns any "Uber" stock?

I do have a quasi-solution when a necessary phone call needs to be made while you're driving (and without the built-in Blue-tooth option in your car). When you come to a stoplight, briefly put your car in park, make your call, then re-engage "Drive". Technically, you are not "driving distracted" when you make the call. Of course, some LEO may try to make a case for "illegal parking".. which would be hard to prove except for "your admission/confesssion", but a $30.00 ticket is better than a $202,.00 ticket and a moving violation on your insurance record.

L-E headline/story: "A day of ‘breaking bread’ planned for Columbus area * The “On the Table” initiative, organized by the Columbus Community Foundation, is being funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Additional support is being provided by the Community Foundation’s Community Endowment Fund and Chattahoochee Valley Fair Fund. *  Plans will culminate Nov. 7 when area residents host people in their homes, as well as other locations, for mealtime conversations focused on improving the community. *  “On the Table will bring Columbus-area residents together to discuss the city’s many opportunities and address challenges, in a connected, organic way,” said Lilly Weinberg, Knight Foundation director for community foundations. “Its focus on local problem-solving and national knowledge-building will help establish a bigger network of engaged citizens across the country.” *  Following On the Table, participants will receive a brief survey compiled by the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement. They will be asked what issues matter most to them and what ideas and solutions emerged from the conversations. Surveys will be available in both English and Spanish, and the results will be shared with the community." --  Sounds like a good idea.. but you have to wonder whether there will be any real changes made.. it seems like everyone involved has a reason to be "politically correct" and that is proven not to be an effective mode to create much needed changes. Any way, let's pray  wonders will come out of it.. Oh, how about putting the "Keep The Freeze" team in charge of it.. it was a most effective group focused on a common goal, which is what "on the table" should be.

Something good is going on at Jordan!  Ms Wohler and her staff have nurtured students into higher achievement and community service as witnessed by Jordan's recent triumph in the nationwide Quaker Oil Restoration project, and now this continued support of Columbus' battles with cancers.  Let's show how Columbus appreciates their good work... let's see if we can "repay" the Jordan Softball team back the $1.500.00 they raised and gave to the ACS

L-E headline: "Target pulls out of its yearlong sales slump" -- Once again.. Trump TRUMPS! There have been recent stories blaming Trump for Target's miseries.. but as we now witness, Target has turned around from it's sales slump that began under Obama, and is now soaring under Trump.. What a difference a leader makes..you really have to wonder why liberals who depend on government largess are so Anti-Trump...

I think the most futile conversation on TV yesterday was on Fox's "Out Numbered". It was painful trying to watch and listen to Juan Williams trying to portray an open, pensive conversationalist because he cannot show his usual overly biased nature with 4 women who were seriously trying to discuss the dual racism that was so obvious at Charlottesville, VA.

San Francisco's mayor has threatened to rescind the permit issued to a "religious right group" earlier.. you know,.he can't do that under our Constitution.. in fact, he has a responsibility to protect this and any other group from other political/violent groups.

You know, as long as Democrats are wanting to erase only the history of black slavery (versus all other slavery situations), why not start with renaming Africa..seems it is still the leading area of the practice of slavery.

Now a Oakland Raider is dissing our flag/national anthem... I guess the NFL has gotten to the point it doesn't care whether fans fill the bleachers or their favorite TV chairs anymore. To boot, It wasn't that I needed another reason not to watch the Raiders, either.

From the "doubt you'll ever see this on the front page of the Columbus L-E" department - Online headline/story: "Black Christian Leaders Detest Claim That Trump Is the 'Driver' of Racial Division in America * A group of conservative black pastors and intellectual leaders on Monday defended President Donald Trump amid criticism of his initial response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, last weekend. * (Star) Parker and the various African-American leaders standing with her at the podium were asked whether it is "disingenuous to pretend that President Trump is not the driver for a lot of the division we see now in this country." *  The Rev. Derek McCoy, CURE's executive vice president who also directs the CURE National Clergy Network, was the first to respond to the question. * "One thing you need to understand — you are saying that the president is the instigator and I think that is absolutely wrong. No, it is not disingenuous," McCoy asserted. "The president made his comments and we are not standing up here to say that we are best friends with everything the president does but he is in an office that we all respect. ... If we are looking about how we can move our country forward, we are trying to make sure that we do that collectively together." -- You know,  the only thing disingenuous is when anybody.. black or white .. any color for matter.. stands up and blames only one side of the issue.. We should all be thankful that President Trump "does not walk on eggshells" on issues. Open discussion ..open cognizance.. are the ways to bring unity to common goals.

Online headline/story: "KKK’s request to burn cross on Stone Mountain denied * The Stone Mountain Memorial Association this week denied a Ku Klux Klan request to burn a cross at the park, citing the trouble at a “pro-white” rally last year." -- Good grief.. what does last year have to do with it.. none of the men honored on the Stone Mountain sculpture would have approve of the KKK and it's methods then, and I'm sure not now as well!

From the "when cooler heads speak out" department - Online story: "Civil rights icon and former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young said Wednesday he doesn’t back the fight to tear down Confederate memorials around the country and that he fears it could have unintended consequences." -- And he's right.. what the Democrats have done is to disrupt the steps to "common good/goal unity by taking two steps backwards... intentionally .
