From the "somehow I see a discrimination suit coming from this headline" department - Online headline: "Sean Spicer, Chelsea Manning named fellows at Harvard" -- Imagine... Harvard referring to Chelsea Manning as a "fellow"..

---
You know, if New Hampshire and the Federal Election Commission do not fully purge the New Hampshire  2016 Election results based on election day registrations of voters using out of state identifying documents based on those 5,000 plus voters never complying with the post election mandates to acquire NH driver's licenses, then the results should be voided and Kelly Ayotte be returned to her US Senate seat.

---
You know.. alternative groups/lifestylers seem to have an unquenchable demand to be  totally accepted by mainstream America, yet those groups have no tolerance for anyone who believes otherwise..

---
From the "the NRA is right" department - Online story: "A student carrying two guns opened fire at his high school near Spokane, Washington on Wednesday, killing one classmate and injuring three others before he was apprehended by a staff member, the local sheriff said." -- One dead and 3 other teens wounded... before he (shooter) was "apprehended by a staff member"?  Hmmm.. once again.. we are stuck with the perpetrator becoming an icon of anti-heroism because no school staff was "carrying" and could have taken the sicko out before he ruined the lives of so many families and becomes a financial drain on society.

---
You know.. I do believe I disliked Al Sharlatan less when he was a fat, obnoxious blowhard than I do today.. Back then, you could empathize with his personal agony.. Now I just want him held responsible for his back taxes.

---
From the "when you kick the can down the road, government should at least project what's it gonna cost the taxpayers in 20 years" department -  Online headline/story: "Atlanta to sell $25.3 million in bonds Thursday to fund housing for the homeless * The money is to be matched with a $25 million philanthropic donation from the United Way of Greater Atlanta. These funds are expected to leverage an additional $66 million from the state and federal governments." -- Good grief.. another of those "good intentions" liberal projects that sorta rid "their" hands of a problem for a few years, but will be back with a vengeance... But who's gonna maintain the properties.. and what other problems will be magnified by putting homeless issues in "compounds"? I imagine there will be huge "pockets" of future inner city blight as current neighborhoods where these "compounds" are developed  will become decimated by "individual homeowner flight".

After watching the impromptu influx of evacuees forced to leave Florida and Coastal Georgia, wouldn't it be humane and compassionate for Georgia to have laws on the books suspending state and local taxes on gasoline and hotels and restaurants during this time of stress? While gas stations/restaurants would just shut off tax applications altogether , hotels/motels could compare addresses to lists of states/counties declared to be evacuation sites.

---
Online headline/story: "US to stop using software from Russia-linked Kaspersky Lab * The Department of Homeland Security has ordered federal agencies to stop using software made by Kaspersky Lab over concerns about the company's ties to Russian intelligence, DHS announced Wednesday." -- Hmm.. you know this should answer all the questions about Trump.. but it also raises bigger questions about why Obama and Hellary didn't cut these ties back 8 years ago...

---
What could make Congress more efficient is a law that prohibits amendments that address other projects other than the original document. It would almost negate the need to seek term limits for Congresspersons as backroom deals would basically end. Unfortunately, no such law can possibly be passed by existing Congressional rules..For this, we need a new amendment.

---
Now Hellary feels too many people voted for Trump because they just didn't "like" her. Wait a minute, even in a rigged primary season, a ton of Democrat voters like Bernie better..  is she claiming all the voters who voted FOR her actually LIKED her? She's delusional!

With the news about Florida seniors' nursing homes losing all power during the hurricane, and our own local experiences with the Ralston's air conditioning issues, should we not look at requiring all nursing/retirement homes to have an adequate, with protected locations, back up generator system, plus semi-annual HVAC systems checks?

Just curious, but when a mandatory evacuation order is issued, did it not apply to Florida Nursing Homes?

---
Rumors are teeming about Republican Congresspersons who are "floating a balloon" about retiring. The FEC should issue a cease and desist edict to such Congresspersons from accepting any more campaign donations.

---
Why is it Democrats want to penalize successful businesses, large and small, by over-taxing them? The real losers here are hard working middle-class Americans seeking more and better paying jobs.

---
Bernie's back and campaigning like he's running for his 8th grade class presidency. Now Bernie wants Medicare for all. How quickly...and ..obviously .. conveniently..Bernie doesn't recall Lyndon Johnson's "War on Poverty" from 50 years ago. 50 plus years ago and $20+ TRILLION dollars later, not only is poverty still with us, it's grown..and our National Debt reflects such wasted dollars and efforts. Poverty is not going away whether Democrats feel they can wish it away or not. Samely, government control of healthcare is not going to improve it either.

A learned British scholar, Chris Patten, a.k.a. Lord Patten of Barnes, the Chancellor of Oxford University in England was interviewed about a current movements worldwide to rewrite history by black activists. In two sentences, Patten exposed the fatal flaw being perpetrated by American educators and mainscream media: ""Education is not indoctrination. Our history is not a blank page on which we can write our own version of what it should have been according to our contemporary views and prejudice.”

Let us all learn from true knowledge..especially the education system... from public Kindergarten to Harvard.

If James Comey had expressed his plans months earlier than his "investigation" that he would not find Hellary guilty of anything, then it makes his not taking/recording interview notes with Hellary a conspiracy.

---
Remember when the guardian of the Holy Grail looked at Indiana Jones after Indy chose his cup and drank water from it? Remember when the guardian said, "you chose wisely"? Well, Sean Hannity modified that to describe why Hellary really lost... from Hannity's September 12, 2017 monologue: The real reason she lost? Americans chose wisely on Nov. 8.

From the "you can't make up stuff like this" department - L-E headline/story: "CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVER
* Mayor looks to restrict river access in weather events * During the storm several people ventured into the Chattahoochee River. In the the late afternoon, four kayakers spent time in Cut Bait, the notorious rapid on the urban white-water course in downtown Columbus. Near dark, two thrill-seekers dove into the river from the island behind the Eagle & Phenix condominiums and swam into Heaven’s Gate, a man-made rapid on the Georgia side. * Tomlinson said on Wednesday there needs to be a deterrent to keep people out of the river during such times." -- Good grief... obviously, a group of folks were standing along the banks of the swollen Chattahoochee, and some people challenged thier manhood, and those folks turned to someone close by and said, "here.. hold my beer".  This is another one of a liberal's "good intentions" concept  (like the Atlanta one to build "homeless compounds") that ain't gonna happen.. The Mayor could command all City employees to stand along the River Walk/River hand-to-hand (Red Rover style).. but that would only cover about 2 of 20 something miles, and she has no input on what people do on the Alabama side.. what we have here is Mayor Tom-LYING-son's "modus operandi".. style over substance..

You know, when Geraldo was in town to cover the Irma "disaster", when he was talking with Mayor Tom-LYING-son, he missed "the disaster story" of his journalistic career.. a chance to parse Tom-LYING-son's two terms of office...

L-E headline/story: "Stars raise $44M for storm relief * Urged on by dozens of stars who turned out to sing, tell stories and plead for support for hurricane victims in a one-hour televised benefit, organizers said more than $44 million was raised Tuesday and donations are still being accepted." -- Hmmm.. and those same "stars" could have opened their wallets which have been filled by the hurricane victims, and raised more than that with out blinking an eye.. as it is, the "stars" just facilitated their salt-of-the-earth fans helping each other out.
