Have you ever noticed that you never see street protesters/looters carrying signs listing the 10 Commandments..you know, thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal, though shall not lie, thou shall not covet....

A former NY Congresswoman was asked on Fox how a peace accord between Israel and Islamic would change the world..She said it would be dramatic as the middle-East has been a powder keg since before WWII. Huh? Good grief, the middle-East has been a powder keg for over a 1,000 years between the Jews & Christians and Islamism.

WTVM9 story: " Mayor Teresa Tomlinson has released a statement following the most recent homicides in Columbus. * There were three homicides in less than 12 hours to begin the week and Tomlinson says she is frustrated with the number of killings in the community." -- "Tomlinson says she is frustrated with the number of killings in the community"?  Good grief.. I think the community is a lot more frustrated with Tom-LYING-son than vice-versa.

From the "liberals just will not accept prosperity" department - Online story: "Georgia's business climate ranks third in the nation, according to a survey of U.S. corporate executives released Monday. * The "Winning Strategies in Economic Development Marketing" survey, conducted every three years by Development Counselors International (DCI), placed Georgia behind only Texas and Florida. For the first time since its inception in 1996, the report included findings on how the current political climate affects business perceptions. * A majority of executives surveyed, 57 percent, said the Trump presidency has not affected their investment plans. But only about one-third said they were more likely to explore domestic expansion in the current political climate." -- Aside from the point that GA was ranked 3rd despite Columbus, the writer just will not let go of trying to cover Obama's economic failures.. Between the lines, the writer pulls a Democrat Debbie Downer when he reverses facts that 43% of executives said the Trump presidency HAS affected their business plans, and a third of them said they were more likely to explore domestic expansion.. During the Obama years, executives were only looking for ways to move plants and jobs OUT of the country.

L-E story: "As founder of the Columbus Black History Museum, Johnnie Warner noticed a disturbing trend in the black community. * “... Prior to the end of the Civil Rights Movement, there were so many lynchings and killings of the black males by the whites,” he said. “And here we are now, we’re still living in fear — but because of us.”" -- "disturbing trend in the black community"?  To me, it's even more disturbing that people are trying to separate our community by black and others. The homicide rate affects the WHOLE community, and it will only get better when the WHOLE community is part of the solution.. The advocate's focus is only on black-on-black killings, but it's bigger than that.. it's drug issues; home invasion burglaries, it's disregard for policemen during difficult jobs issue. Yes, the sick-of-crime black community must merge in thought and effort with all of Columbus to get a handle on black-on-black violence..

To make a point, just this morning, I received a video of a police arrest here in Columbus, and the introduction declared it was "an innocent Black Man". I received it from a well respected man who I met during our childhood, and have known for the last 20+ years here in Columbus as an active community organizer. I asked if he had witnessed the event or knew what initiated it. He responded, "I will investigate.. just disturbing".. My point is that a video was sent without evidence that the police were acting irresponsibly to a crime or without a call from the store owner..  and you can't "undo" a viral video... We.. every sub-community.., have got to first act responsibly rather than react to what is going on.

I'm in shock... a GOOD shock... I learned that Bill Murray is 67 today... he looks so much older than I do... ;-)

L-E headline: "How are you supposed to dress and act in court?" -- Hmmmm... I just wish that sentencing practices were as well spelled out as dress codes and civility expectations... I'm tired of seeing recidivists being recharged for new crimes when their previous sentences should have had them incarcerated during the crime spree.

L-E headline/story: "Teens putting off traditional markers of adulthood * according to a new study showing that teenagers are increasingly delaying activities that had long been seen as rites of passage into adulthood. The study, published Tuesday in the journal Child Development, found that the percentage of adolescents in the U.S. who have a driver’s license, who have tried alcohol, who date, and who work for pay has plummeted since 1976, with the most precipitous decreases in the past decade." -- This just adds to the importance of what Trump did to promote the work ethics of a 11-year-old lawnmowing entrepreneur! I'd gladly put a teen walking my neighborhood with a lawnmower to work!

Online headline: "Hillary Clinton decided to go to Yale law school after a Harvard professor told her: 'We don't need any more women at Harvard'" -- Poor Hellary,, she still finds it difficult to admit that real women did not associate her with being one...
