From the "mainscream media is obsessively sick " department - Online story: "Wikileaks asked Donald Trump Jr. to get his father, then-President-elect Donald Trump, to suggest that Australia nominate Julian Assange as its US ambassador, The Atlantic reported Monday as a part of an expose on the Twitter direct messages sent between Wikileaks and Trump Jr. * Wikileaks asked Donald Trump Jr. to get his father, then-President-elect Donald Trump, to suggest that Australia nominate Julian Assange as its US ambassador, The Atlantic reported Monday as a part of an expose on the Twitter direct messages sent between Wikileaks and Trump Jr. * Trump Jr. did not answer the messages, according to the report." -- Good grief..now mainscream media is accusing Trump. Jr of being the recipient of an unsolicited "tweet" which he did not answer... and it's Trump. Jr's "fault". Hey, mainscream media, how about focusing on Comey/Hellary or Lynch/Bill_Clinton DOCUMENTS that the FBI has tried so hard to sweep under its carpet!

From the "you knew this was coming" department - Online story: "Ja Du recently sat down with WTSP to discuss his racial identity, telling the outlet that although he was born a white man named Adam, he feels Filipino. He now identifies as transracial." -- Is there ever going to be an end to liberal fantasy?

Went to see "Genesis PART 1" last night. Learned a couple of things and disagree with a couple of other things, but the one thing said that struck me as being the one aspect that connects all with God is that we are all "brown".. not black, red, yellow, or white.. we are just all different shades of brown.

I just saw a "Doug Jones, Alabama Democrat for Senate" commercial.. Yeah, that "Doug Jones".. the one sending out his and other Democrats' volunteers to make political accusations against Roy Moore.. well, the most obvious this about Jones' ad was that he speaks his divisive message with the the left side of his face/mouth at the camera. I guess he's hoping we won't be able to see what's coming out of the right side of his mouth.

Online "headline/fairy tale": "Starbucks' chairman slams GOP tax plan * Starbucks' chairman and long-time CEO just gave yet another interview where it sounds like he's preparing for a career in politics. * "So many people in America are living paycheck to paycheck. Corporate America does not need a corporate tax cut from 35 to 20%," Schultz told Andrew Ross Sorkin at the New York Time's DealBook conference. "If you're going to do that, it has to be more balanced, it has to be more common sense." -- so many people ... are living paycheck to paycheck"? Hmmm... you know if Schultz understood business at all, he would grasp that low taxes would allow him to give his employees BIGGER PAYCHECKS if he was actually concerned about them living "paycheck to paycheck".

From the "if you haven't seen this SNL video of the DNC message, do it now" department - You'll thank me later

From the "how to become instantly irrelevant" department - Gentleman's Quarterly named Colin KaeperPRICK as its "Citizen of the Year"... in its "too close " to Veterans Day issue. I'm guessing GQ might be deciding on firing its Marketing Research director.
Colin KaeperPRICK..citizen of the year? Good grief..what did JJ Watts do to not win.

GE shareholders...especially pension boards.. should put their feet down hard on current/holdover GE executives being paid in stock going forward. They were present during the decline of the shares, and should not benefit from getting new shares at the low cost basis so they benefit on the rebound. Personally, I'm more inclined to bring in some new decision makers.

Considering the intention of serving as a Representative should be be entered into as a service to your community, and not as a career, how do our local Reps stand on the proposed
To John Pezold...our soon-to-be-but-not-soon-enough-for-Columbus District 133 GA State Rep...are you supporting the proposed pay increase for 2019?
How about Debbie Buckner, Ed Harbison, Calvin Smyre, Carolyn Hugley, and Richard Smith?
Also, Vance Smith and Randy Robertson, if elected, will you accept the raise if it passes.
Josh McKoon..what will your vote on this issue be?

I'm putting Woody's Roadside Tavern in Farmingdale, New Jersey on my list of places to make sure I get to before I die. Woody shut off the NFL on his TVs to honor vets this weekend...and his business BOOMED!

Looking at how trees along Bradley Park Drive and Green Island Drive have been raped, I can only assume that the GA DOT is about to start on the Roundabout that was supposed to start construction in 2014.. Wonder if the GA DOT is going to use Plan C after Plans A & B "flaws" were exposed. I also think that Council and Mayor Tom-LYING-son should come out an state what the projected costs is now.. since it is now 20 months later since the last time they mentioned figures. Refresher.. The first plan, presented in 2014, called for $1.2 MILLION coming from T-SPLOST funds.. the second plan present in Feb of 2016 called for $2.7 MILLION ($1.5 MILLION from T-SPLOST and $1.2 Million from City coffers).

NFL spinmeisters are trying to spin that only... ONLY 3 NFL players "took a knee" on Sunday (of course a lot did not leave the "tunnel until afterward. Even 3 non-chastised players doing so in Veterans Day weekend is not acceptable.. If the NFL Players Association really was sincere in apologizing for the disrespect of out National Anthem, Flag, and our Veterans and law enforcement officers, each team would have had a group designated to pummel any teammates who made such gestures of disrespect.

From the "obviously biased and incomplete list" department - Online story: "New data released by the FBI on Monday revealed an increase in hate crimes of about 5 percent over the last year in the United States. * The data from the Hate Crimes Division found that there were approximately 5,800 hate crimes reported in 2015 -- and the number jumped up to 6,121 in 2016. * Of the reported crimes, about 60 percent were motivated by of race, ethnicity, or ancestry. Another 21 percent were motivated by religious bias, and 18 percent by sexual orientation. " -- Hmmm.. and what would the figures be if Hellary supporters and other antifa attacks on Trump supporters were counted? Oh.. and why hasn't "antifa" been classified a hate group on? the SPLC list.

Random thought: Why is it that liberals get so upset about abusing a puppy or kitten, yet yawn discussing a partial-birth-abortion?

From the "not really having a clue" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: People raise over $55K for woman fired for giving Trump the finger 8 Supporters have raised nearly $60,000 for the woman who lost her job after giving Trump the middle finger last month. * The GoFundMe campaign, which is titled “Thank You Juli Briskman," raised more than $50,000 for the former government contractor in the first several days. * “Juli Briskman is an inspiration to us all. This week we learned that she was fired from her employer for exercising her first amendment rights,” the crowdfunding campaign reads. “You can show your support by donating here.” * So far, almost 2,500 people have donated to the campaign." -- heh heh heh.. Looks like the DNC has thrown Br'er Rabbit into the brier patch.. that's $50-to-$60 THOUSAND that will never pay for a Democrat-hate-ad in the next elections, because Juli Briskman will certainly not give away what's been given to her.

Since it was mentioned in the L-E article yesterday that the MCSB would be discussing construction of the beginning dates of the wrestling room at Columbus High at this coming Monday's board meeting, I asked the architect where such will be built on the grounds at CHS.. He said several locations were under consideration and would be discussed at the next meeting...I'm going to guess that the 40' X 60' ft buildings for weight/wrestling rooms at the various schools will have at least a 15' landscaping/walking area perimeter around them, so the foot print will actually be 70 X 90 (or 6,300 square feet). Due to the topography and already-in-use-land at Columbus High School, the only space I can think of that would handle such a physical need would be in the existing parking lot.. Say, didn't the MCSD just spend $935,000.00 on building a new 45-to-60 car parking area because their wasn't enough parking for student as it was, and now will lose 40 or more to a wresting/weight room...

L-E "fairy-tale": COMMENTARY * Is it time we replaced America’s national anthem? * BY CHRIS JOHNSON * Correspondent * So, fine. Let’s change it. How about Ray Charles’ version of “America the Beautiful?” -- I love Ray Charles' singing.. and even his acting role in "The Blues Brothers"... but I'm just curious, but how can you designate a version of America the Beautiful be given preference to any one... especially since the Ray Charles was not born until AFTER "America the Beautiful" was already a song and was considered at the same time as The Star Spangled Banner" and "America" as the potential National Anthem. Personally, my favorite singing of the song was by Kate Smith on the Ed Sullivan Show 50 plus years ago.. but the National Anthem is not about the artist who sings it, it's about Americans who sing it.. even off key.

L-E story: Columbus legislator Calvin Smyre answered questions Monday from the Ledger-Enquirer about accusations Fox News contributor and national Democratic party activist made Friday via social media that he sexually assaulted her in 1996 in Chicago. * In a nine-Tweet string on Friday, Jehmu Greene, who ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic National Committee chairperson earlier this year, accused Smyre, the dean of the Georgia General Assembly, of the crime during the national convention 21 years ago." -- I tell you what, if you've ever heard Jehmu Greene discuss the Democrat issues as a contributor on Fox News Channel, you would absolutely know... for sure... that she is not capable of speaking the truth.. besides, she could manhandle Calvin Smyre..
