When I do our monthly sales tax report, I break it down by state and local, but I send it all to the state which then separates it for distribution, but the distribution takes an extra 30 to 90 days to be returned to the City, Why not have the local sales tax revenues sent directly to the City?

If the NFL goes to an 18 game schedule, by time you add the preseason games and the off weekends for the teams during the regular season, plus the play-off weeks, the NFL season will last almost as long as the NBA season. The Super Bowl may end up being played the same weekend as the Masters.
