-- How does a "collapse" like this happen in 12 months? Was there a CRCT cheating scandal uncovered last year in Muscogee County that wasn't reported? Let's sic John Redmond on to this for an audit!
---
From the "only in California" department - Online headline/story: "California Prison Hunger Strike Ends * e hunger strike was not related to living conditions and instead focused on the specific treatment of certain groups of offenders." -- Proof of "inmates running the prison", and it sounds like they may have been SEIU union members.
---
Online headline/story: "Treasury: US Taxpayers Stand To Lose Staggering Sum From Chrysler... * In May, the new Chrysler fully repaid its bailout loans. * But the United States is likely to lose $1.3 billion that it had lent to the old Chrysler, Treasury said in a statement on Thursday. " -- How can this be...oh! the UAW 'health care trust owns over 40% of Chrysler-Fiat (a.k.a. "Fiasco"). Once again, Emperor O'Bozo bends over and plants a big one on the UAW's backside.

Since unwIsaiah Hugley claims he doesn't/didn't know anything about any of the many departments that have been revealed as problems, how about a sworn statement that he hasn't received free tickets to any of the Civic Center events.
---
Speaking of the practice of commandeering tickets at events at the Civic Center, shouldn't it be that 'if' the 'free tickets' are part of the compensation package for using the facility, why aren't the tickets used to bring in revenue to the Civic Center? Giving the tickets away to anyone is basically "theft of services".

L-E headline: "Judge Allen gives Michael Curry three consecutive life sentences" -- Well, we can pray and hope he lives long enough to serve them all!
---
Another 418,000 new unemployment claims yesterday for the previous week. Hmmm, that's an annual rate of over 21,000,000. Since the unemployed are more than likely going to vote for DUMB&DUMBERats, it's becoming more obvious that Emperor O'Bozo's primary re-election strategy is to keep from creating new jobs in the private sector.
---
L-E headline/story: "Man mighty helpful during his arrest for marijuana possession * A Columbus man stopped Wednesday for allegedly running a red light told police he’d just smoked marijuana, reports state. * Tyrone Davis Thomas, 24, is charged with possession of marijuana, failure to exhibit license and a red light violation, police said.
-- and what about the "DUI" charge?
---
L-E headline/story: "Georgia execution: Andrew DeYoung dies in controversial videotaped lethal injection * Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal said it was up to the courts to decide the matter, though he told reporters following a news conference Thursday he had “grave reservations” about videotaping executions" -- Well, this should prove to the nay-sayers that Governor Deal does have a fine sense of humor, and can be very punny when needed.
---
L-E headline: "Only 18 of 55 Muscogee County schools meet adequate yearly progress" -- Hope this wasn't one of the "bright spots" about Columbus Governor Deal highlighted, BUT, on the other hand, 18 out of 50 may be the best in the state after looking at the Atlanta cheating scandal. This just adds more fuel to the fact that the MCSD is more interested in displacing parents as role models for their children by having a summer eating program rather than a summer reading program.
---
L-E headline: "DA Julia Slater, victim's family express relief after Michael Curry gets 3 life terms for brutal bush-ax murders * Bush-ax killer must serve 30 years before he’s eligible for parole." -- Though the probability is low, the fact that Curry 'may see the light of day' again, has to weigh heavy on the Johnsons. Hope the Johnson's saga can be effectively recorded and be shown in any parole process in the future.
---
L-E headline/story: "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * SCHOOL DISTRICT GETS ‘UGLY’ AYP REPORT * Only 33% of county’s schools meet federal benchmarks, down from 77% last year * “We expected an ugly report and we got it,” said Muscogee County School Superintendent Susan Andrews." -- While her honesty is unexpectedly refreshing, how can she "expect" such results, but not have been doing something to prevent such results? Only in baseball batting averages is a 33% success ratio considered 'successful'.
---
Liberal "soundoff": "Obama should have stormed out of the room. Those pinhead Tea Bag freshmen are so drunk with imagined power they think that they are the Lord’s own anointed! " -- Oh...is the lib upset that someone he/she considers 'the Messiah" isn't getting him/her another public dole 'pay raise'?
---
L-E story: "LONDON — James Murdoch’s former legal adviser and a former editor contested the testimony he gave Tuesday to British lawmakers, saying Thursday he was told years ago about an e-mail that suggested the rot at his Sunday tabloid was far more widespread than previously claimed." -- OK, you BC legal eagles, isn't there some failure in the system of client/lawyer confidentiality here?
---
L-E story: "MUNICH — The remains of Rudolf Hess, one of Adolf Hitler’s closest aides, have been exhumed and his grave destroyed to end neo-Nazi pilgrimages, it was announced Thursday. * The removal of Hess’s body from a cemetery in the small Bavarian town of Wunsiedel took place Wednesday morning, a church official, Peter Seisser, said, confirming newspaper reports. Hess’s remains were to be burnt and the ashes scattered at sea. In the 24 years since Hess’s death the grave had become the site of regular demonstrations by far-right extremists. The lease on the grave runs out this year, and the church where the cemetery is located has refused to extend it. " -- 'The LEASE on the grave runs out this year"? Most of have known that the 'taxes' aspect of the 'only known certainties of life are", but who knew 'death' would also be removed from the "two certainties"? If you're buying yourself a grave site soon, you better check out the eviction clause.
---
L-E headline: "Obama, House GOP reach for elusive deal " -- When will Republicans learn that any compromise 'deal' accepted by Emperor O'Bozo will never be a win-win for Republicans or taxpaying Americans?
---
L-E headline: "BROKEN BUDGETS * Programs to help poor cool homes cut" -- It's not a lack of sympathy, but why are the 'poor' expected not to be conscious of their thermostat setting like the people who overpay their exorbitant power bills so that the Power Companies have funds set aside to help the 'poor' pay theirs? At the same time, do you think you will everwalk into an Electric Power Company office in the heat of summer and find its thermostat set on 78 or 80?
---
L-E headline: "Hall of Fame jockey Smith arrested for DUI" -- Ooops, my bad, thought Smith (or his horse) had flunked an after race drug test.
---
L-E headline: "ECONOMY * Data shows slump could last through summer" -- Ah...the third in the series, "2009 Summer of Recovery" saga of Emperor O'Bozo.
