The perfect sentence for Casey Anthony is to be permanently handcuffed to OJ, and together, they can wander about eternity looking for the killers.
---
How could the jury say Casey Anthony was not guilty of murder/manslaughter, then turn around and say she was guilty of lying? Didn't the same jury come up with these enigmas? After all, if she wasn't guilty of murder/manslaughter, then how could the jury think she lied about what she told the police?
---
Some bailiff should have been close enough to the Anthony defense team to throw a penalty flag for 'excessive celebration'.
---
Not since Frank Martin loaded a jury that went on to return a verdict of 'not guilty' for his client based on the fact that the person his client shot was not the person the client was aiming at so it couldn't have been planned murder has justice been so maligned.
---
All I can say is "not guilty" doesn't mean she was innocent.

Bill O'Reilly cemented his leadership as the premier news source last night when he shut up Geraldo Rivera's rantings.

As Forrest Gump would have said, "That's all I have to say about that".

L-E headline/story: "Richard Hyatt: Muscogee County School District needs better business practices * For decades, community bands and orchestras have used high school band rooms for rehearsals and concerts. * Rent was free. * Now, without warning, these nonprofit organizations have been told it will cost them nearly $400 a night to use those same facilities." -- Except for the lack of 'warning' (but that's probably due to the fact this is new for the MCSD), what's Richard complaining about? It's about time that the MCSD and City started making 'users' of facilities pay for the 'use' of such facilities. Does Richard think it's 'fair' that the 'non-users' (community) pay for someone else's use of such? With budgets being stretched in both of these government entities, it's actually nice to see them tackle such expense areas.

According to a hurried Google search concerning Dekalb, Fulton and Douglas County school info (because they were discussed in an L-E article concerning CRCT cheating) I foung these facts interesting. Last year, the MCSD had approximately 32,000 students and 6,200 employees (about a 1-to-5 employee-to-student ratio) Dekalb County had 102,000 students and 13, 785 employees (a 1-to-7.4 employee/student ratio); Fulton County had 92,000 students and 12,000 employees (a 1-to-7.67 ratio); and Douglas County had 24,000 students and 3,300 employees (a 1-to7,27 ration). . Using the lowest ratio of the other counties as a guide, either we need a total of 45,074 students in our system, or a total of 4,400 employees for the 32,000 we have.

L-E headline: "Obama prods Congress on debt limit " -- Speaking of 'prods', Emperor O'Bozo needs a cattle one to get him to move on spending cuts and economic policy.
---
L-E's "Thought for Today, “Freedom is always and exclusively freedom for the one who thinks differently.” — Rosa Luxemburg, Polish-German revolutionary (1871-1919). " -- In other words, freedom is for those who don't let the government 'think' for them.
