Online headline: "McCain Rips Obama Over Afghan Drawdown" -- Well, well. Two years and a few trillion short of when McCain should have been 'ripping' Emperor-wannabe-O'Bozo, McCain finally has awakened. Where was this McCain in Sept-thru-November of 2008....when it would have done some good?

Danny Johnson, customer service manager at GA Power, reminded me of Marie Antoinette's "let'em eat cake" comment when he stated that distraught GA Power customers should set their thermostats to "80". What arrogance! The PSC gives GA Power Co a license to steal with its escalating rate structure, but at least a spokesman for GA Power could 'fake' sympathy for the consumer when bills spike to such levels.
I have a suggestion to enable GA Power spokespersons to 'feel their customers' pain'. I'm going to write the PSC (and I encourage all of you to do so also) that the PSC require all GA Power offices, from the Chairman of Southern Company down to field offices, to set their thermostats to 80 degrees during the Spring and Summer months and at 64 degrees during the Fall and Winter months (that'll average their thermostat settings at a comfortable 72 degrees). Maybe then, GA Power will work on cutting expenses before running to the PSC for more rate increases.

What's with this ploy to promote children of illegal aliens being here 'by no fault of their own'? At a minimum, children are being used/abused to cover crimes of their parents.

Emperor O'Bozo is claiming corporate jets and big oil not paying enough taxes to balance the economy, but doesn't mutter a word about his buddy, Jeffrey Immelt's company (General Electric) for not paying any taxes last year.
---
How's this for a suggestion to the government's failure to hold down taxes and keep our country safe . Taking a hint from HELL-thScare, Emperor O'Bozo should ram through a new tax structure that makes every person tithe 10% of income to the government and 10% to a church of their choice, then limit government's spending to defense, interstate commerce, and judicial fairness, and let the churches of a community administer social services.

L-E story: "SAVANNAH, Ga. — A new traffic rule is aimed at reducing close calls and collisions between bikes and the cars and trucks whizzing past them, and cyclists say it’s the biggest improvement to Georgia’s bike safety laws in decades. " -- Very good! Now, if bicyclists would do more of their part by observing the other rules such as riding on the right side of the road, observing traffic signs/signals, signaling their turns and stops, and staying off sidewalks if they are over 12, everyone would be safer!
