Online story: "A wealthy Florida man has adopted his 42-year-old girlfriend as a daughter in a move critics say will protect the man's assets during an upcoming lawsuit surrounding a deadly car accident. * Polo Club Palm Beach founder John Goodman, 48, adopted his longtime partner Heather Laruso Hutchins in October" -- Hope the guy gets arrested for incest.
---
L-E headline/story: "Michael Curry's appeal: Evidence too weak for guilty verdict to stand * ((Public defender Robert) Wadkins’ primary argument is the evidence simply was insufficient to prove Curry’s guilt, and Allen should have granted a defense motion for a directed verdict of acquittal." -- What's Wadkins trying to do...establish that his own defense was so inefficient that he couldn't convince 1 of 12 people to agree with him? I think the City should sue Wadkins for whatever he siphoned out of taxpayer dollars for the case.

L-E headline/story: "Authorities believe wrecked school bus was driven by juveniles *The driver of a stolen school bus that struck four parked vehicles on Thursday night may have been a middle-school-aged child, according to reports. * In response to the theft, a Muscogee County School District official said he was discontinuing the practice of allowing drivers to keep their keys on the bus." -- "allowing drivers to keep their keys on the bus"? I can remember when it was safe to leave your keys in your cars ignition.... 50 years ago, but why would any organization allow that since then? Looks like "some KEY personnel" needs to lose his/her keys to her office door, too.

Liberal's L-E "soundoff": "Remember that the Democratic-controlled Senate has not passed a budget because of the filibustering obstructionist Republicans." -- How quickly (and conveniently) DIM&DUMBERats forget that in the first and the second year of potUS O'Blather's administration, the Senate had a filibuster-proof majority of non-Republicans. Republicans were not even invited into discussions, much less had the capability of tying up legislation. How do you think HELL-thScare passed?
---
L-E "headlie": "Komen reverses grant decision * Organization drops plan to cut funding to Planned Parenthood" -- WRONG! Komen said it would keep pre-existing pledges in the works as was in its original announcement. The only thing changed would be Planned Parenthood could be given more grants in the future. I'll be watching that closely, because I do not want any money I donate to the Susan G. Komen organization to go to Planned Parenthood (or any other non-Komen charity for that matter).

L-E headline: "Iranian leader warns U.S., Israel against strikes " -- Why do I get this vision of a flea crawling up the leg of an elephant?
---
L-E headline/story: "Man tries unsuccessfully to plead guilty in deaths * DECATUR — A public defender entered a not guilty plea for his client even though the man said he wanted to plead guilty in the stabbing deaths of three members of his family." -- This is exactly what's wrong with the public defender system. The public defender could have allowed justice to proceed, but it would mean the public defender couldn't bill/get paid for more work.

Excuse me, but how can a minor league hockey player be considered a "franchise player"? Wouldn't such a skilled player be in the major league?
---
While good news about the job and unemployed markets are welcomed, manufacturing it does not make it real. The reality is that there are approximately 2.5 MILLION less people working in January than December.
---
We are witnessing a new world's record (possibly a Guinness one, too). Huh, you say? Eric Holder is in the Senate trial room, and potUS O'Blather can "throw his voice" to his puppet from the White House, Air Force 1, and even from a golf cart.
---
Schools in Valdosta are not giving any more 'zeroes' because it makes the students 'feel' bad. Of course, before long the normally excellent students will look at how hard they work, and find it for naught, so they will begin 'thinking' their hard work makes them "zeroes'.
---
potUS O'Blather is now quoting scripture to justify his tax wants. He even used [Luke 12:48] "To whom much is given is much required." -- Well potUS O'Blather, you have been given way too much and you're nowhere near returning what we require.
---
Christina Preston has really embarrassed her longtime Columbus family, as well, for sure.

Guess we can expect a Jim Mustian 3-day recap next February... maybe even a Valentine spread.
