There are no 'earmarks' except those voted on to send by Congress. The secret to ending 'earmarks' is to eliminate taxing people in excess so that Congress doesn't have money that should have stayed within the states themselves.

It's amazing that the City thinks Spring Harbor should be paying property taxes, and at the same time, doesn't think CSU should pay any taxes on its school building in the downtown area. The CSU River Campus took prime land off the tax records, yet are afforded the CPD, CFD coverage taxpaying properties receive. If nothing more, CSU should be paying a fee for such service needs.

" -- "balanced approach"? At best, potUS O'Blather sent over a 'spending plan, not a budget. Sure Republicans wail, and I'm glad they do, but the story not told by the media is that this, like the previous 'budget plans', will not see the light of day in the Reid Senate.
