Years ago, before the Council adopted a UGA plan to raise City employees salaries to close the gap between City and private sector ranges, Council decided to allow a great number of employees to take their City vehicles home at night to make up some of the shortage. Now that City compensation is on a par or better with private sector packages, the wide spread practice of providing City employees with take-home vehicles should be revamped. A good place to start would be to take all vehicles away except for police officers, and police and fire officials, with a condition that those employees must live in the Columbus city limits.

L-E headline: "Columbus police may finally get $2.5M computer reporting system" -- A little more information please, as to what $2.5 Million is buying? Is it just software/licensing (and how often the license must be renewed), or does it include new computers for the police vehicles (and how often do the computers needed to be upgraded). Also, is this a program direct from a hardware/software company or through a package put together by a third party distributor or vendor? In this day, $2.5 Million for a computer package is pretty expensive when notebook computers go for under $1,000.00 bucks.

Ron Paul pulled in 3% of the FL vote. Guess that was the 3% that still looks at him as younger than them.

Online headline: "Photos Of Osama bin Laden's Death May Be Released" -- Hmmm and exclusively in inner city voting booths and iPhones on November 6, 2012.

It makes sense in liberal-ese, but not in American. Apple, beloved by liberals for its iconic symbolism against the conservative establishment, is one of the worst, possibly the worst thorn in the side of economic recovery. Not one of its popular products is made on US soil, and it keeps a ton of its $70+ BILLION in cash in overseas accounts.

An economist predicts that by 2100, only 3 languages will be important... English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Makes you wonder why potUS O'Blather thinks we should model ourselves after the French.

SOME WILL APPRECIATE THIS AND SOME WILL NOT.
HOWEVER, ALL OF IT IS TRUE.
