Online story: "MSG Network might be the next media entity to apologize for a regrettable reaction to the success of the New York Knicks’ Jeremy Lin. * After Lin led the Knicks to a 100-85 win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, the network displayed a graphic featuring the point guard. Lin’s face was posted above a broken fortune cookie with the words “The Knicks Good Fortune” on a sheet of paper."
-- Other than a less than attractive picture of 'Linsanity', why would Lin be upset at this? He's being celebrated for his skills and recognized for his heritage. Political Correctness is robbing Lin of his moment in the spotlight. Shame on the liberals!!!

Online headline: "Larry King, CNN Officially Split" -- Please note you probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't noticed this item online. Surely, no one knew about this from watching CNN, which is why King was terminated to begin with.
---
Online headline: "Chavez Accuses Opponent Of Misleading Voters" -- Oh, how, by telling the truth?
---
Online headline: "Nicolas Sarkozy Announces Presidential Bid" -- Ooops, my bad. After hearing potUS O'Blather trying to adopt a French type government in the USA, I guess the current French President figured that the DIM&DUMBERats would like a consistant and open socialist as their leader.
---
HuffPost headline: "Payroll Tax Cut Deal 'A Long Ways From Getting There,' Top Dem Says" -- Typical liberal perspective... it's not a 'tax cut', it's an extension of the tax cut Bush43 gave us that deep down the D&Ds want to take back.

No matter how much Government Motors pushes the "VOLT", $5.00 gas won't just hurt the sales, it will relegate the "VOLT" to car history like the Edsel. Even with its electric operated first 35/40 miles, once the 'VOLT' starts running on gasoline, the 'extended range' is only about 300 miles because of the small 10 gallon gas tank. Do the math: On a vacation trip, a 'VOLT' already would have to be stopped to fill up every 300 miles (or less since the second fill up would get no assistance from the first 35/40 miles being propelled by battery) at $35.00 at $3.50 a gallon, but at $5.00 a gallon, you'd be feeding the 'VOLT" $50.00 every 300 miles. That will get old pretty fast. Instead of looking at a 'staycation' again this summer, 'VOLT' owners will be looking at a "stay-close-to-the house" vacation.

L-E headline: "Stocking Strangler case: Carlton Gary defense team appeals to federal court for more funds" -- Let's face it, the attorneys could care less about Carlton Gary but surely don't won't to miss a paycheck. Here's that 99% thingy again.
---
L-E story: "Besieged by international sanctions over the Iranian nuclear program including a planned oil embargo by Europe, Iran warned six European buyers Wednesday that it might strike first by immediately cutting them off from Iranian oil." -- Wow! What a missed opportunity potUS O'Blather shut down 3 years ago. If he had opened up more drilling rather than shutting down the American oil drilling businesses, America would be in position to send oil to Europe, and that would create even more jobs here!
---
L-E "soundoff": "The main difference * A Democratic politician looks at your wallet as half-full but a Republican politician looks at your wallet as half-empty." -- Close, but no banana. DIM*DUMBERats see any money in anyone's wallet and wants to redistribute it so no one except politicians have any money in their wallets.
---
L-E headline: "Human, humanoid robot shake hands in space for the first time" -- Has 'political correctness' digressed so far that it's historical that a robot shake hands with a human at all? From the picture, it seems this "hysterical, uh, historical, moment" was lily-white, so I guess it will be even bigger news, and more hysterical, uh historical, when a black robot shakes a human's hand. As Charlie Brown might comment..."Good Grief!" As for me, I cannot wait until 'political correctness' is buried in a landfill forever.

L-E story: "PHOENIX — A teacher’s role may be to expand a student’s vocabulary, but one Arizona lawmaker wants to make sure that doesn’t include four-letter words. * A state legislator has introduced a bill that would punish public school teachers if they use words that violate the obscenity and profanity guidelines set forth by the Federal Communications Commission." -- Of course, there will probably be a DIM&DUMBERat addendum to the bill that excuses such language if the phrase 'President Bush' is included in the tirade.
---
L-E story: "DETROIT — Lexus is the top performer in a survey of vehicle dependability released Wednesday, but most other brands also showed improvement in an industry that has reached historically high dependability levels. " -- What a bitter pill for Government Motors to swallow. Not only is the top vehicle Japanese, it was announced in Detroit.
