You know, Al Sharpton didn't have to go the Sanford, FL to whip up any racial frenzy; the special prosecutors did that.

You know, Al Sharpton didn't have to go the Sanford, FL to whip up any racial frenzy; the special prosecutors did that.

---

You know, the prosecutors job, his/her sworn duty, is to protect law abiding citizens, even non-citizens. His/her job is not to make mountains out of mole hills. I do hope Jacksonville, FL voters will turn that whole DA's office out on its rear in the next election. I know I will never think of Jacksonville being a fair and just city anymore.

---

You know, I'm willing to bet the jury's 1st ballot on the second degree murder charge took less than 20 minutes and was 'not guilty', but it wasn't prepared by the trial to deal with the lesser, vaguer charges.

---

Maybe Cuzzin Jimmy will comment on what's "fair" about letting the prosecutor in the Zimmerman trial to get first closing statement, then get the last words in rebuttal  following the defense's closing words.

---

Even in rebuttal, the prosecutors could not look the jury in the eye and say, "We have presented you with all the evidence you need to find Zimmerman guilty of 2nd degree murder.' All he could say was basically, we've dumped a lot of stuff on you, and hope you will sift through it and toss us a bone.

---

I believe the prosecution tried to build the case against Zimmerman by trying to convince the world Trayvon Martin was a complete innocent. In spite of that, the prosecution could not show that to the world.

---

From observation, I really think the prosecutors are disconnected with their duties to all citizens, and disrespectful of the police force. How does this happen/exist when justice is sought; is the goal?
---

Every policeman in Florida, country wide for that matter,  should be indignant at the disrespect the 'Zimmerman persecution team' has demonstrated towards police investigative work.

---

The prosecutor whined that it's "star" witness wasn't there to speak. Martin could have been the "star" witness for the defense as well, and none of the story the prosecutors conjured up would have held up under cross examination.

---

Bob Beckel came out in his DUMBERat attitude of name calling, by referring, to the  judge in the Zimmerman trial as "UGGLLLYYYY". One of the anchors said that she resembled Beckel, and Beckel couldn't find humor in any of it.

---

I resented the prosecutor referring to 17 year old Trayvon Martin as a "child" during his whole rebuttal. A 17 year old, street 'smart', teenaged male is no "child" in the eyes of the court. It was especially grievous that the prosecution could rebut the defense's closing statements, by the defense was not allowed to object to such actions.

---

You know, the Zimmerman trial, combined with mainstream media's ignoring (_°_) B°ldwin's gay slur and child abuse, may be the unraveling of political correctness. Now we can call B°ldwin the creepy-ass-cracker he openly is

---

Compare the Zimmerman trial with one that just ended here in Columbus: A group of men were gathered on a street corner late at night in downtown Columbus. Two (at least) had guns. One didn't like the song one of the others was singing. A preemptive assault with a bullet to the head resulted. A jury acquitted the shooter. You already know the rest of the story.

Where is the Hispanic community? One of there own is getting railroaded by the State of Florida, and the Hispanic community is totally absent.

From a fellow BCer.. a great read. Recommended:

Guess Walmart has declared it's position on political correctness... Walmart has dropped Paula Deen  and replaced her with Twinkies.

Secretary of Homeland Security Janice Napolitano has resigned and headed off to be the head of the University of California system. Maybe she'll try to stop the rush of illegal aliens by starting new U of CA campuses in Tijuana, Carbo, and Cozumel so students can get home for the holidays.

---

From a fellow BCer: 1-888-678-8914..... this is the toll free number of the Michigan Public assistance Office. I checked out such, and it's true, that you will be prompted to "dial 1 for English, and 2 for Spanish". As much as were are used to such nowadays, it still rankles, but Michigan has gone further. You can dial 3 for FARSI! Another thing I learned before the 'menu' was offered, is that as of Aug 1st, EBT (food stamp cards) will no longer be able to be used at RESTAURANTS! My God, tax dollars meant to help people out in stressful times were used to buy restaurant meals. Even worse, the users were probably good tippers on our dollars.

Let's hold off on being excited about David Lewis "being excited to be coming to Columbus". I've lived in the area all my life... in fact, I'm the 6th generation of my family living here. I like it, no, I even love it. It's a great place and has easy access to vacation and entertainment sites. David Lewis doesn't know all that yet. Is he excited to be coming to Columbus, or is he excited to be leaving Polk County, FL?

---

Had to laugh a bit when I learned David Lewis, who's not even officially hired as yet, has submitted a 120 day plan. I think everyone how has been a superintendent in the last 30 years has had "a plan", but none have been around long enough to actually accomplish one.
