I find it hard to comprehend that the party of "HOPE & CHANGE" draws the line at any "CHANGE" in abortion laws that protect fetuses, or give "HOPE" to women that they not only will survive the abortion, but may have a chance yo carry a future fetus to term.

Forgot to add this yesterday, but it's still pertinent: Online story: " Imagine going shopping with your children at a local supermarket and then suddenly having your child plucked right out of the shopping cart and held hostage.  * That's exactly what dramatic video of a deadly stand-off shows. It all unfolded in the middle of the day at an Oklahoma City Walmart. * The man, Sammie Wallace, hands a cell phone to the girl's mother and demands she call a police officer he knows in Dallas, TX, all while holding a knife to the little girls' stomach, according to police. * Wallace starts counting down from sixty, threatening to harm the child, moving the knife towards the little girls' neck as she starts to squirm. * Then while one negotiator distracts Wallace, another goes up and shoots him point blank (as not to miss the (_*_) or endanger the child) * The officer immediately grabbed the little girl, who was unharmed." -- One important fact is left out. The officer who killed the kidnapper actually left the aisle so he could check his gun out of sight of the (_*_). The officer wanted to make sure he had a bullet chambered. He knew there might be only 1 opportunity to act. Go, Big Blue!

55 people took their citizenship oath of allegiance to the USA at the Jimmy Carter Center. Let's hope most of those were DUMBERat politicians.

Online story: " A contractor working in the basement of a New York home removed a false wall to discover the remains of woman considered missing nearly 30 years. * The body was found Friday night in a large container in the Poughkeepsie, N.Y., home where Nichols once lived with her husband. James Nichols, who passed away last December at age 82, reported his wife missing on Dec. 21, 1985 * The Dutchess County Medical Examiner determined Nichols' death a homicide and said that she suffered blunt force trauma to the head. * Local police said they will “continue the investigation by further examination of the case and new forensic evidence,” " -- "continue thye investigation"? Guess the PPD will bring in the Zimmerman prosecutor to go after the deceased husband with the death penalty.

I am bewildered at the fact that liberals are more concerned at the honesty of Paula Deen than the beheading of a priest by Syrian Taliban terrorists.

---

Online story: "WASHINGTON -- Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has apologized for telling Congress earlier this year that the National Security Agency does not collect data on millions of Americans, a response he now says was "clearly erroneous." * Clapper apologized in a letter to Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein." -- How convenient... Feinstein will accept Clapper's apology, (_*_) B*ldwin's excuses, but persecute Paula Deen.

---

Online story: "Out of all the unhealthy food choices out there, a meal at the fast-food seafood restaurant Long John Silver's -- the "Big Catch with Onion Rings" -- won the title of worst restaurant meal, according to Center for Science and the Public interest, a consumer advocacy organization. * The meal, which was added to the chain's menu in May, consists of a large piece of breaded, fried haddock (7 to 8 ounces), hush puppies (fried cornmeal batter) and onion rings. It has 33 grams of trans fat, 19 grams of saturated fat and 3,700 milligrams of sodium, the CSPI says." -- Whew, make sure you don't order that in NYC.. there's no way to down that stuff with only a 16 oz Diet Coke to help.

Online headline: "Woman Faced Horror After Lottery Win" -- Ooops, my bad. Thought she saw Judas 00-bama and the IRS standing in line in front of her to collect their share.

Ephrata, PA used to be known as the home of the largest "street fair" in Pennsylvania; it used to be known as a religious community. No longer.... the PA DOT has assured that forever.

Was watching  the Disney Jr channel (ah!  the pleasures of being a granddad) yesterday. Princess Sofia was on. This particular episode was about the undesirable trolls who live under the castle. It made me think... Hollywood, in spite of its public efforts to promote diversity, always depicts the "undesirables" (trolls, ogres and such) as any color but white. So much for leadership in diversity; pretty much stereotyping if you ask me.

I'm relieved in knowing no matter how hard the prosecutor wants George Zimmerman sacrificed for political reasons, his witnesses are still only interested in telling the truth to the best of their abilities.

---

The only way the prosecution's case could have even been brought to trial should have been solely on whether Greorge Zimmerman had his gun drawn as he followed Trayvon Martin

---

think the Zimmerman prosecutor has watched too many Perry Mason episodes and expects some one to jump up from the viewers and say, "I confess, it was me!".

---

If George Zimmerman's lawyers presented the defense first, a good judge would stop the proceedings with a directed verdict.

Judas 00-bama praises and supports the mid-east Muslims who brutally treat their woman and homosexuals, but chastises Republicans for being Christian.

Squealer Snowden is blaming Judas 00-bama for blocking his asylum attempt in Russia.. Huh?. Asylum is something one country GRANTS to someone who had been persecuted by another country.

The NBA draft has brought Kentavious Caldwell-Pope back into the limelight, which also brings Tony Adams to memory as well. One question never discussed, or at least not revealed, was what CB&T executive set up the exempt City Account for Adams to launder the Nike checks through?

From online stories: "The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry and the USA Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are going to exchange experts during joint rescue operations in major disasters. This is provided by a protocol of the fourth meeting of the U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission Working Group on Emergency Situations and seventeenth meeting of Joint U.S.-Russia Cooperation Committee on Emergency Situations, which took place in Washington on 25 June. * As part of a deal signed last week in Washington DC between the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry and FEMA, Russian officials will provide “security at mass events” in the United States * This suggests that events designated as “National Special Security Events” by the Department of Homeland Security, which include the Super Bowl, international summits such as the G8 and presidential inaugurations, will now rely partly on Russian authorities to provide security." -- Whoa! Not only is Homeland Security accumulating armored assault vehicles and buyiong up excessive ammouts of ammunition, it is signing up not-reporting-to-the-American-Military soldiers!

From a fellow BCer - I suppose there is no good way to look at the new "Atheist-American Monument just  dedicated in Florida, but this is an almost good way:

A couple of days late, and $100,000 dollars short L-E "soundoff": " I would vote for Cathy Williams for MCSD superintendent. She is a business manager and a great public representative, and can manage public money. No more searching. " -- Hmmm, after the latest phone scam, I'd be checking the MCSD accounts for suspicious activities.
