It will be a permanent headstone to remind Newtown of something people would like to move on from. Wanna bet drawing guns will get someone kicked out of art classes?

Married and divorced three times, Salyers now helps run a fruit and vegetable stand with her boyfriend but it doesn't generate much income. They live mostly off government disability checks. * "If you do try to go apply for a job, they're not hiring people, and they're not paying that much to even go to work," she said. Children, she said, have "nothing better to do than to get on drugs." -- "Children.... have nothing better to do than get on drugs"? What a warped life! Unfortunately though, government checks and handouts do afford people the ability to buy drugs if that's what they choose to do with it. That's the resulting difference between a hand-out entitlement program and a hand-up effort.

There really is an eerie similarity to Hillary not trying to save the lives of 4 Americans in Benghazi , and Kennedy abandoning Kopechne at Chappaquiddick. Kopechne's clawing marks were quite evident in the interior of Kennedy's Olds, and there's really no proof that Kennedy actually was driving/in the car when it went into the pond. He could have just as easily have sent Kopechne to her death. We'll probably never know for sure.

Huma Abedin is going to be a bigger problem than Hillary first thought. As long as Morsi was in power, and Huma's mother being a close friend to Morsi's wife, Huma was an asset. Now that Morsi is out, and Huma's taken a bullet for Hillary, people are reminded of Hillary's weakness as a wife/woman, Weiner is an albatross.

Chris Wallace had Secretary of the Treasury Jack Lew in an interview yesterday. Jack Lew obviously went to the Mohammed Ali "Rope-a-dope" school of answering questions. It's embarrassing that he's getting paid with our tax dollars but had no desire to give us our money's worth.

Online story: "The San Antonio City Council is about to adopt an ordinance that could get any Christian arrested for preaching the Bible or sharing their faith.  They are looking at passing some nondiscrimination ordinances that would make it a crime to exhibit or express any form of bias that could offend someone.  The proposed ordinance says:

“No person shall be appointed to a position if the city council finds that such person has, prior to such proposed appointment, engaged in discrimination or demonstrated a bias, by word or deed, against any person, group or organization on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, age, or disability.”

Anyone found guilty of violating the new ordinance would be given a lifetime ban from being able to hold a city job, being involved with city government or even doing business with the city.
In other words, if a Christian works for the city as a garbage collector or street repair and they tell someone that the Bible says homosexuality is a sin, they could lose their job for expressing their bias.  Or, if you contracted with the city to provide a service, say computer maintenance or repair and you quoted what the Bible says about homosexuality, you could lose your contract with the city." -- If passed, it should require all existing Council members be re-screened, re-vetted, under oath by Paula Deen.

Problem is, the lake’s banks have become overgrown to the point that fishing has become difficult. * ..James Worsley, city Parks and Recreation director, said if any cutting or clearing   is done there, it’s done by Public Works, and then only on the watershed dam, not around the lake banks. He said clearing the banks too much could destabilize them and cause them to erode *  Public Works Director Pat Biegler and Deputy Director Ron Smith confirmed that the city cuts the grass on the dam once a year, but that’s so they can do an annual inspection of the dam. They don’t clear brush away from the banks around the lake. " -- Hmmm, "Frustrated Angler mary" should call Mayor Obamalinson and say she understands that hundreds of 'crosses' have been placed in the ground under the overgrown brush...
