HufPost headline: "Obama meets with top advisers to discuss threat" -- With
as few times Judas 00-bama has met with Cabinet members he's appointed, you have
to wonder if they had to have photo-IDs and name tags.
---
HuffPost headline: "World on alert over possible terror threat * Last time
precautions of this magnitude were taken" -- Hmmm, my guess would be November 7,
2012 after Judas 00-bama got re-elected. Either that or because Judas 00-bama is
celebrating his birthday today on Martha's Vinyard.
---
Online story: "ROME — Italy's government is trying to spare the ancient
ruins of Pompeii from further neglect." -- It must have been those pictures of
abandoned Detroit neighborhoods that showed what neglect could do to the ruins
of a city wiped out by a volcano eruption 2,000 years ago.
---
HuffPost headline: "'Charlie Rangel Should Apologize For Tea Party
Comments' Says Bachmann" -- WRONG! Charlie Rangel should apologize to America..
right after he finishes a jail term for tax evasion.
---
Obviously this must have been a HuffPost April Fools' Day article that ran
early. The people of Mexico have a 'happiness' score that's 13% higher than
America despite the drug wars and high immigration rate to America.. Drats,
forgot that illegal aliens sending the bulk of their minimum wage job salaries
home raise the standard of living in Mexico.
---
Online headline: "Red Sox Owner to Buy Boston Globe for $70 Million" --
Hmmm, bet the first thing he does is burn all the copies of Bill Buckner letting
a ground ball go between his legs in the '86 World Series.
---
From the 'just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water'
department: When ever I ride with my teen daughter, she usually listens to "her"
music on the radio. Once, after an ad blared out about an anti-pregnancy device
and embarrassed her, she now changes the station to the Sunny 100 elevator music
station. Hate to tell her, but when my bride and I were riding around Friday
evening, listening to the 'elevator music' station, the "Trojan-man" ad blared
out. She, nor we, have a choice anymore. This week, the radios come out, and
multi-disc CD players go in.

Online story: "Watch out! The Great Bull Run is coming to the U.S." --
Ooops, my bad, thought Judas 00-bama was going to make another speech.
---
Instant repeat: "Watch out! The Great Bull Run is coming to the U.S. *
Organizers of the Pamplona-inspired event plan for several U.S. cities to
unleash bulls to sprint through fenced-in courses as daredevils sprint to avoid
being trampled. * The inaugural run is set for Aug. 24 in Richmond, Va. More
events are planned for Georgia, Texas, Florida, California, Minnesota, Illinois
and Pennsylvania." -- Who's brain child event was this... Michael Vick? In a
country where dog-fighting and cock-fighting are illegal and detested, I ask,
how can this event get past the State Department?
---
You know why Judas 00-bama doesn't get along with the US Supreme Court? No,
it's not that abortive tongue lashing he gave it during a State of the Union
speech. It's because the Supreme Court proved, absolutely proved, O0- bama was a
liar. 00-bama swore HELL-lthScare was not a tax , but the Supreme Court ruled
in his favor for its Constitutionality on the basis it IS a tax.

From a fellow BCer:
Can you tell the difference between these two?
One can't tell the truth, and one won't let the other one tell the
truth.
---
Seattle is becoming the clone of San Francisco. Now, Seattle has banned the
use of citizen as it may offend illegal aliens, so now everyone is a 'resident'.
---
Random question: Why do scientists, well, a lot of scientists, spend too
much time trying to denounce, disprove, the work, the existence of God? I can
see where evolution has altered and improved species over the centuries, but if
one specie is the result of evolution from another specie, why aren't their more
mutant subspecies of their evolution?

From a fellow BCer:

This just brings pork industry into the headlights of the DOJ... Eric
Holder may close an industry because it racially profiles itself as "the other
white meat'.

L-E story: "Oh, and if reading about all
this new stuff makes you wonder what’s for lunch, remember that students will
have to pay more for those meals in the district’s schools. *The board approved the district’s School Nutrition
Program’s recommendation to increase lunch prices by 10 cents for students and
75 cents for visiting adults. So this school year’s lunch prices for students
will be $2 at elementary schools and $2.25 at middle and high schools. The lunch
price for visiting adults will be $4.50. " -- "students will have to pay more"? Last I
heard, most parents, like us, paid for our children's
lunches.
---
From above story: " Meanwhile, 28 Muscogee County schools will offer
free meals to all of their students — without their parents or guardians having
to fill out an application — during the 2013-14 school year as part of a
national pilot program" -- Hmmm, "28 Muscogee
County schools will offer free meals to all of their students — without their
parents or guardians having to fill out an application — during the 2013-14
school year as part of a national pilot program"? Since when are students the
"property" of the MCSD? What the MCSD should be doing is holding all parents
responsible; not being the parents!
---
There's a story on
the front page of the L-E highlighting the $1,000,000+ pay packages for top
executives of 4 of Columbus' home grown publicly held corporations. Too bad the
article focused on how much they made versus how much they contribute to the
community and country by the jobs they keep filled. Couldn't help but
notice that the Columbus L-E did not print the salary package of it's top
executive.... hmmm, for obvious
reasons?
---
Very low info
voter's L-E "soundoff": "Obama says he will
lower capital gains taxes if the money is used for jobs. If you lower taxes, how
is there more money? This is the thinking that has us in so much trouble." --
WRONG! The 'thinking' that has us in most trouble is that less than half of the
work force can support the majority plus the unemployed and those who avoid work
at all.
---
Karl Douglass, DUMBERat columnist for the Columbus
L-E says, "Parents all over town are breathing a sigh of relief. School starts
on Wednesday. " -- Hmm, well, maybe the 'parents' who like the MCSD taking over
their jobs are, but letting the government initiatives be the role model for the
next 10 months is not going to educate those students to be independent and
responsible when they become parents.
---
Benghazi... have to mention it so it gets kept
alive... something our government cared less about in doing for Americans who
died there.
---
I'm beginning to see why the Columbus L-E (and
McClatchy) keep publishing Leonard Pitts. His job is to keep racism relevancy
alive and churning.
---
L-E headline: "MCSD teams sell ‘home’ games to raise money *
Seven teams raised more
than $109,000 by hitting the road " -- Excuse me, but who's accounts do these
dollars go into? Does the MCSD control the funds or do we have a repeat of the
GA Blazers basketball program
brewing?
---
Look like Tiger may get home with a win, after
all... unless, of course, we see him do a "Greg Norman} '96 Masters
impersonation.
