There's a story on the front page of the L-E highlighting the $1,000,000+ pay packages for top executives of 4 of Columbus' home grown publicly held corporations. Too bad the article focused on how much they made versus how much they contribute to the community and country by the jobs they keep filled. Couldn't help but notice that the Columbus L-E did not print the salary package of it's top executive.... hmmm, for obvious reasons?

Very low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "Obama says he will lower capital gains taxes if the money is used for jobs. If you lower taxes, how is there more money? This is the thinking that has us in so much trouble." -- WRONG! The 'thinking' that has us in most trouble is that less than half of the work force can support the majority plus the unemployed and those who avoid work at all.

" -- Hmm, well, maybe the 'parents' who like the MCSD taking over their jobs are, but letting the government initiatives be the role model for the next 10 months is not going to educate those students to be independent and responsible when they become parents.
